The China way is coming to America much faster than most patriots expected. The Chinese Communist Party introduced a social credit score several years ago that punishes or rewards Chinese citizens for their political views and activities. US big tech companies and social media companies have introduced a soft version of a social credit score in America by censoring dissidents and banning President Donald Trump from using social media. Two weeks ago, the Biden Administration announced a chilling attack on free speech by implementing a Disinformation Governance Board to eliminate views that Leftists don't like. The Disinformation Governance Board looks and smells like the old Soviet Union KGB national secret police that locked up dissidents in mental hospitals. What else are America's communists planning for patriots? Rick Wiles. Doc Burkhart. Airdate 5/16/22

With long lines to get into the stadium in both the parking lot and entrance gates, the LA Galaxy were already burning goodwill. But to come out flat against a Dallas side that was intent on destroying you and having no reaction? That's not how playoff teams are made. And it's not how Champions react. On today's show, hosts Josh Guesman and Kevin Baxter want to break down the loss to Dallas. And even when the defense gives up three goals, the main focus will be on the offense. Because the Galaxy have proven to be a good defensive team, but they haven't proven to be a good offensive team. Josh and Kevin will talk about Boxing's big day at Dignity Health Sports Park and why the stadium over-extended itself. And why, if you were one of the people scrambling to get inside the stadium, you would have done better staying outside? And if Chicharito is slumping and bringing on Dejan Joveljic doesn't change anything, then you need to look at how you put them in the best positions. So who is going to make the angling balls, and who is going to make the run dictate the pass? The games are coming fast and furious now. The Galaxy will play Minnesota United midweek, Houston over the weekend, LAFC next week in the Open Cup, and then close out the month with Austin. So how does Vanney manage that stretch of games? And do the Galaxy have a problem winning the big games -- winning those that will move them up the standings? We've got a great show for you today. And you're going to want to catch every single word!

We watched The Sadness before it was available for streaming in the US because we are a big time movie review podcast. I can easily say that this is one of the craziest movies I've ever seen, and will stick with me for a long time. @dgoebel00 on Instagram provided this amazing artwork. Follow him and check out his website (1:30) - Intro(7:00) -Synopsis(9:00) -Review(17:45) -Score(26:17) -Spoilers(1:23:35) - Horror Movie WHOORES https://youtu.be/VUR1DWh7eLs Synopsis The Sadness follows boyfriend Jim (Berant Zhu) and girlfriend Kat (Regina Lei) on their normal day in Taiwan. Unfortunately for our couple, this normal day is the day that the Alvin virus hits their city. The Alvin virus is a pandemic that they've been hearing about for a while but no one seems to be taking seriously. As the virus hits their hometown, people start to die, and worse, rape each other in the streets. The virus causes people to cry as they assault each other while simultaneously exhibiting total ecstasy in causing pain and torture. It seems to unlock the most reprehensible parts of people and make them capable of depravity you've never even seen in horror movies. Will Jim and Kat make it through, or will the sadness take them? Review Canadian writer, director Rob Jabbaz brought this manga adaptation of Crossed (Garth Ennis and Alan Moore)to Taiwan to film. This is his first full-length feature film. Without question, this is one of the most depraved movies I've ever seen in terms of dialog. The violence is absolutely absurd and over-the-top. The themes are disgusting, and are meant to cast a light on the absurdities of politicizing a major health concern such as a pandemic. I heard a little bit about The Sadness before I watched it, enough to brace myself, which was good because I don't think I would have enjoyed it otherwise. The makeup, effects, and execution is unbelievable, rivaling that of similar splatter movies like Braindead / Dead Alive. This is a slick movie that is well made, and outpaces most action movies handily. It's also so absurdly disgusting that I imagine many won't be able to finish it. Watch The SadnessWatch on ShudderClick Here to Subscribe to Shudder It takes the old premise of zombies and the morality tales that they brought to the silver screen and pops a monster truck engine under the hood before sending you to hell with tears streaming from your eyes. The Sadness is super gross, but it does have something of a point, which seems to make it easier to take in. The non-stop themes of rape, murder, and stupendously disgusting dialog where characters describe in vivid detail the acts of violent sodomy they wish to perform made me so happy that this wasn't in English. Had I heard those words spoken in a language that I understood, I would have been sickened to my core. The only movie that I've reviewed that left me feeling almost as gross as this was The House that Jack Built. Not many will be able to get through this one and those who do will have to live with all those nasty thoughts in their head. The Barca Breakdown discussed the victory at the 3-1 Camp Nou against Celta Vigo. With Busquets out on a yellow card, Nico and Pedri injured, Xavi decided to not start our only midfielder Puig. Instead he opted for a 4 man attacking front with Ferran, Aubameyang, Dembele, and Depay, leaving Frenkie and Gavi to cover the midfield. The line-up made Adam and Yusef nervous as not having Busquets was bad, but not having 3 midfielders sounded even worse. It is interesting to note even though this was a difficult situation, Xavi still didn't decide to start Puig. This must say something regarding Xavi's trust in the midfielder. Is it time for Puig to make his leave and gain experience elsewhere? Regardless, Barca started the first half a bit shaky as the team had to adjust with a missing midfielder. For the first 20 minutes Celta made some good attempts at goal, however they couldn't seem to finish. Once Barca adjusted, Dembele put on his jet engine boots and was flying around the pitch. He was able to drive down the right flank and dribble the ball into the right side of the box. He made a beautifully placed pass to the middle of the box where Depay was waiting. Depay shot immediately and scored the opening goal at 30'. Before the end of the first half Jordi Alba makes an over the top pass down to Depay on the left wing. Depay kicks the ball to the middle and the Celta defender is not able to control it. Aubameyang sneaks in and kicks the ball into the back of the net. Half time ends with Barca up 2-0. Barca continued to press in the second half. At the 48' Auba makes a pass to Dembele. Dembele runs down the right flank with Auba running through the middle. Dembele gets the ball back to Auba who one touches the ball to take a 3-0 lead. Not 2 minutes later, Ter Stegen makes a terrible pass to Araujo. It was intercepted and Celta Vigo scored. Celta dropped to 10 min due to a bad foul at the top of the box. Not soon after Araujo Clashes heads with Gavi and is on the floor for several minutes. Reports are he was concussed and is recovering now and will be good. The last notable comment is that Frenkie De Jong, Eric Garcia, and Jordi Alba will all miss the next game against Getafe due to yellow card accumulation. Barca Look to take on Getafe in Madrid this Sunday where Yusef and Adam will be live at the game! Forca Barca
In the final hour, Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel were joined by new Bears receiver Velus Jones Jr. to discuss being a 25-year-old NFL rookie, why he likes wearing a suit, why he brought his own whiteboard to rookie minicamp and more. The guys then reacted to White Sox right-hander Michael Kopech's comments about expectations of him after being traded from Boston to Chicago in 2016. Later, the guys held their "One Last Thing" segment, answering questions from Score listeners.

Power Quotes From The Show Combining EFT Tapping & Talk Therapy "Clients that are coming to me have often already done talk therapy 95% of the time and they have learned a lot from it but they're still having panic attacks, trauma patterns keep repeating or they're still having trouble in their relationship. So, where EFT Tapping comes in, and it's a beautiful compliment to talk therapy if people want to do both, is we're getting after where it is held in the brain... ..We're really going after fight or flight and the limbic or the emotional brain. As you talk while you tap, you're really going after the non-verbal part of the brain. You may know why you're having these panic attacks, phobias, addictions or anxious thoughts but you can't stop it until you tap to go after the brain that doesn't recognize spoken language and neutralize it." - Amy Piper Healing Emotional Weight & Trapped Emotions "Often people come to me with weight issues that they want to heal and so I work with them to go back and figure out when did this all started and what was going on in their life at the same time. Just by asking five to six questions, I receive a wealth of information to help them begin including asking, 'What part of this is emotional weight?' Not just diet and exercise but the emotional component and subconscious thoughts as well such as, 'I need this weight to protect me,' because it insulates me from the pain I'm feeling." - Amy Piper Healing Trauma: Peeling Back the Layers "EFT tapping actually doesn't take a long time to help people clear out their trauma so it doesn't have to be a painful process. Some times, for each specific area you want to work on it may only take 3-5 sessions. With each session, you're rapidly peeling back the layers of the anger, resentment, shame, and any other emotions you're feeling. You do have to go through it to heal but I think EFT really provides a safe way to feel and release." - Amy Piper Links From Today's Show Tapping for Truth Use the code 'JOSH' in your subject line and message to Amy for a 15% discount for the 1:1 sessions and a 10% discount for the EFT trainings. She works with people both in person and virtually in 1:1 sessions. She also conducts EFT Level I and 2 workshops to train others in EFT, as a tool for themselves, or for professionals to add to an existing healing practice. EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques, more commonly known as 'tapping.' She began her journey with EFT as a client over 15 years ago. Having direct experience with this transformational work, she felt called to train and become certified in these techniques. EFT is commonly referred to as “emotional acupuncture.' It not only releases emotional distress but also goes beyond to reverse negative core beliefs. She loves it because it is powerful and works quickly. Amy's Work in EFT Tapping & Speech-Language Pathology Her formal education is as a speech-language pathologist; I completed my Master's in speech sciences and embarked on this career nearly 20 years ago. She enjoyed working with people specializing in the area of brain injury/trauma within speech pathology, however, she often felt that something was missing. She was working primarily with people who had experienced a traumatic event as part of a rehab team of professionals. When she encountered EFT (tapping), she realized this was the piece that had been missing. EFT has the power to heal traumatic experiences/memories that are held in the body and energy system. Releasing these traumas/painful experiences can have a profound effect on one's health. About the Science of EFT Tapping EFT brings Chinese Acupressure and modern psychology together. It combines gentle tapping on key acupuncture points while focusing your thoughts on physical pain, unhappy memories, uncomfortable emotions, traumas, fears/phobias, or any other problem. EFT works to “smooth out” the energetic disruption between thoughts/ memories and an emotional reaction. The emotional factors that contribute to the problem are typically released along with the energy blocks. The tapping is working directly with the limbic brain, specifically the amygdala, where our stress response (flight/flight) is controlled. Tapping has a direct and immediate effect to down-regulate the amygdala. It's a powerful tool to clear recent traumas or things that happened all the way back in our childhood/early years. As we identify certain patterns in our lives or belief systems that no longer serve us, we can tap to clear these patterns. This allows us to live from a more neutral and joyful place.

“Many sexual trauma survivors went into a freeze state.. And so there's this sense of ‘My body betrayed me, and I don't want to be in this body, but I'm stuck here, so I'm going to do the best job I can to not be here.' And that is the ultimate disconnection. So what we're going for is to start to reconnect that, just a little bit at a time, maybe at first just with questions and guidance, and little by little, help you start to recognize that your body is an ally in this process of healing. And in fact, because it was the site of the crime, it's also the site of immense healing. And until you can actually feel that, there are things you can't heal. There are things you can't heal with words because words weren't what injured you.” In this conversation, Molly and regular special guest Sarah Brennan share their perspective on the role of touch in healing from sexual trauma. Some of the themes they explore are: The power of safe touch. Doing TO the body or making the body DO versus feeling, experiencing, and listening to the body with genuine curiosity. The body as key to healing injuries that were (and continue to be) experienced in the body. Feeling betrayed by the body's response to assault or violation. Feeling subtle sensations again (or for the first time) after only being able to feel extreme sensations or numbing out or being hypervigilant - or any combination of the aforementioned strategic adaptations. “People who are terrified need to get a sense of where their bodies are in space and of their boundaries. Firm and reassuring touch lets them know where those boundaries are: what's outside them, where their bodies end. They discover they do not need to constantly wonder who and where they are. They discover their body is solid and they do not have to constantly be on guard. Touch lets them know they are safe.” ~Bessel Van Der Kolk -------------------------------------------- SUBSCRIBE to the show to be the first to hear about new episodes! 2021 NAPLEX and MPJE Scores are out, I sorted them on an Excel Sheet which you can find in the Pre-Residency Audio Academy here https://residency.teachable.com/ The big thing with studying is to make sure you have a consistent order to approaching pathophysiologic states and don't blow off the MPJE, it's deadly with only 4 out of 5 passing on the first try and 1 in 5 colleges of pharmacy are in the 40s, 50s, and 60s for passing.
In the third hour, Mike Mulligan and David Haugh were joined by Brad Biggs of the Tribune to share his takeaways from Bears rookie minicamp over the weekend. Later, Score baseball insider Bruce Levine joined the show to discuss the latest Cubs and White Sox storylines.

David Meets the British TEAM Group, Part 1: Treating adolescents, Intrusive thoughts, TEAM-CBT homework, Surprises from the beta tests, and more. Greg – What were the Surprising Results of the Feeling Good Beta Test? What were the surprising results you referred to in the beta testing the new TEAMCBT App? Were there some things that weren't effective or didn't work in the way you expected? Rima – Is Psychotherapy “Homework” required in TEAM-CBT? I have a question about rapid recovery with TEAM CBT. Traditional CBT usually takes quite a lot of sessions and requires homework between sessions. How does this fit with a recovery in a single (two-hour) session? Do the patients still have to do homework? Paul – Treating PTSD with Intrusive Thoughts How can TEAM help an individual who has intrusive thoughts about a traumatic event in their past? Jessica – Treating Adolescents with TEAM-CBT Do you need to vary the therapy techniques when working with adolescents, as opposed to adults? And if so, how? Peter – Positive Reframing in TEAM—How much is “enough?” When you do Positive Reframing to reduce Outcome Resistance, how extensively do you have to do it? Do you have to include every emotion the patient has listed on their Dailly Mood Log? Do you also have to focus on most or all of their Negative Thoughts? What's the best approach? The following questions will be answered next week in Part 2 of David's encounter with the British group. Tom – Burns vs. Van De Kolk After reading The Body Keeps the Score, by trauma specialist and psychiatrist, Dr Bessel Van De Kolk, it would appear that people with complex trauma require a high degree of stabilizing work, like deep-breathing, meditation, or yoga, before they can engage with effective therapy. Otherwise, they might not have the words to describe their emotions, or might have repressed memories. In addition, they might not engage or might become destabilized and highly emotional or destructive towards themselves and other people. I wonder if that's your experience with patients you have seen with severe complex trauma in your career? Do you think the TEAM-CBT model has limitations in this area and would you refer to a trauma specialist before embarking on TEAM therapy with such a patient? Sean – Treating Somatic Symptoms with TEAM I'm curious about dealing with the somatic experiences of patients struggling with anxiety, depression, insomnia, trauma, etc. Clients can often challenge their distorted Negative Thoughts but still struggle with the somatic symptoms. I'm curious to know David's thoughts. Hassam – Treating Chronic Doubters with TEAM I'm wondering if David has had experiences with chronic doubters - obsessive doubt in which a patient might say: "Yeah, all these cognitive techniques seem good and all, but what if really I am useless and worthless, and all of this has just been a gimmick? What if it is all a lie? What if we have missed something which really would show how worthless I am ?" Basically, this is closely related to the Pure O version of OCD. OCD is known as the doubting disease, and I really want to hear David's thoughts on how he operates with extremely sticky doubting thoughts. Jacky – Treating Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) with TEAM I have a question about clients with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. When they present with multiple worries, do we need to cognitively restructure every worry? Clients with GAD often have multiple worries so we could be there for quite a while if we have to work on every single worry! End of the Part 1 Questions. David will return to the British group for Part 2 in the future, since they had many additional questions. Here is a note from Dr. Peter Spurrier to all who want more information about the British TEAM-CBT training group: If you are interested in learning more about our group, or want to contact members, please visit us at: https://feelinggood.uk.com/ You will find contact details for many of us on the "Our TEAM CBT Practitioners" page.
