Tonight's guest, Rodney, describes himself as being a farm boy who grew up on a farm, in Ohio. He'd hunted from the time he was knee-high to a grasshopper all the way up to 1983. After spending so much time in the woods, he thought he knew about everything out there in them. That confidence came crashing down, one night, in August of 1983, however. That was the night he had just stepped out of his house and found himself literally face to face with what looked to him like a huge, black Werewolf. When he shut the door to his house that night, turned and almost walked right into the thing, it was crouched like it was about to pounce on him. As if all that wasn't frightening enough, to Rodney's horror, it then did something that mortified him to his core. Crucially, both houses of the Oireachtas, the Dáil and the Seanad, passed motions calling on the Irish government to begin the process of planning and preparing for Unity referendums. These include The Oireachtas Good Friday Agreement Committee. This is the only all-Ireland committee in Leinster House. It is unique in that Members of Parliament from the north join TDs and Senators to work on issues relating to the implementation of the Good Friday Agreement.The Good Friday Agreement remains the basis for relations on the island of Ireland and between the islands of Ireland and Britain. However, its implementation has been challenged, principally by indifference from London and a lack of consistent and positive leadership from Dublin.‘I'm so scared, please come'For as long as I have been a republican activist I have been reading and writing about the impact of British colonialism on peoples around the world. Tourists and locals alike report getting lost in the darkness of the San Francisco Catacombs - hearing whispered prayers from sealed passageways and more, suggesting that the catacombs maybe aren't just a museum, but instead, a place where the dead still watch the living who dare to enter their final home. On December 24th, around midnight, after Bruce Brown and I recorded last week's show (Episode 623), he drove to a property in Fentress County, Tennessee to investigate a Dogman sighting a farmer there had, recently. While he was looking around the farmer's property, nothing of note happened. When he was walking back to his car, however, that all changed. The warnings were there. According to the father of Anna Kepner's ex-boyfriend, Anna told people she didn't feel safe around her stepbrother. He says the 16-year-old was obsessed with her, that he carried a knife, and that Anna's ex-boyfriend once witnessed him climb on top of her while she slept during a FaceTime call. He says he tried to warn her parents. He says they dismissed him. Weeks later, Anna Kepner was dead — found under a bed on the Carnival Horizon cruise ship, strangled to death on a family vacation she never should have taken. Her stepbrother is now the FBI's primary suspect. His own parents have acknowledged it in court filings. But eight weeks after her death was ruled a homicide by mechanical asphyxiation, no charges have been filed. Newly released text messages between the suspect's parents show a family scrambling to control the narrative, not grieving the girl who died. A former detective called it damage control. Meanwhile, testimony from the December custody hearings has revealed prior incidents of physical restraint in the household — including a chokehold allegation from the suspect's own older brother. This is a case where the red flags were waving. Where people saw something and said something. And where the adults in charge chose not to act. Anna Kepner was eighteen. Tonight's guest, Jonathan Branham, grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky, in a place locals call “The Holler.” As a kid, he roamed the mountains around The Holler barefoot, without a care. Sure, he knew that mountain lions and black bears were out there, be he wasn't concerned about them. If you leave them alone, they'll leave you alone was his mindset. Tonight's guest, Bruce Brown, is a former law enforcement officer who had his first Sasquatch sighting when he was 8-years-old. He was trying to fly a kite, at the time, when he saw 3 Sasquatch. Bruce says the Sasquatch seemed to be more interested in watching him as he was trying to get it to fly than they were in just watching him. Bruce thought they were gorillas. He had no clue what they actually were. It wasn't until his great grandmother sat him down and had a little talk with him that he came to understand what they actually were. The experience he had that day, when he was trying to fly that kite was just the tip of the iceberg, when it comes to the experiences he's had with Sasquatch. One of the most notable encounters he's had with a Sasquatch happened one night when he was working as a Sherrif's deputy and was on the scene of an accident investigation. That night, he stood feet from a female Sasquatch that had been severely injured, after being hit by a car. Tonight's guest, Dan Schmidt, was born and raised in Southern Minnesota. When Dan was growing up there, he had what could very easily be the most frightening Dogman encounter that's ever been shared on the show. You see, when he was 9-years-old, Dan and his cousin spent the night at his grandma and grandpa's farm, during winter break. The encounter happened the first night Dan and his cousin were there. When it happened, Dan was laying on the couch, in the living room and his cousin was laying on a make-shift bed his grandma had made, on the living room floor. Some time between 1 and 2 AM, Dan was awoken by a noise. Dan realized that it was the sound of the latch on the door to the back porch, of the house, being worked. Then, he heard that door being opened. Next, he heard slow, heavy footsteps walking across the back porch toward the back door of the house. When he heard those footsteps coming toward the back door, he looked at the back door. To his dismay, he then saw its doorknob turn and then the back door slowly open. What happened next was much more than most people would ever be able to handle. He watched a Werewolf walk into the house.
