On December 24th, around midnight, after Bruce Brown and I recorded last week's show (Episode 623), he drove to a property in Fentress County, Tennessee to investigate a Dogman sighting a farmer there had, recently. While he was looking around the farmer's property, nothing of note happened. When he was walking back to his car, however, that all changed. You see, when he had walked back to within about 15 to 20 yards from his car, he realized he wasn't alone… If you listened to last week's show, you heard Bruce come on and talk about the group of Dogman encounters he's had over the years, including the time he picked up a Dogman pup and examined it. Due to how many experiences he had to share on that show, I didn't have time to ask him the list of questions I had for him. The warnings were there. According to the father of Anna Kepner's ex-boyfriend, Anna told people she didn't feel safe around her stepbrother. He says the 16-year-old was obsessed with her, that he carried a knife, and that Anna's ex-boyfriend once witnessed him climb on top of her while she slept during a FaceTime call. He says he tried to warn her parents. He says they dismissed him. Weeks later, Anna Kepner was dead — found under a bed on the Carnival Horizon cruise ship, strangled to death on a family vacation she never should have taken. Her stepbrother is now the FBI's primary suspect. His own parents have acknowledged it in court filings. But eight weeks after her death was ruled a homicide by mechanical asphyxiation, no charges have been filed. Newly released text messages between the suspect's parents show a family scrambling to control the narrative, not grieving the girl who died. A former detective called it damage control. Meanwhile, testimony from the December custody hearings has revealed prior incidents of physical restraint in the household — including a chokehold allegation from the suspect's own older brother. This is a case where the red flags were waving. Where people saw something and said something. And where the adults in charge chose not to act. Anna Kepner was eighteen. It wasn't until one night, 4 years ago, that that all changed. That was the night he saw a Face-Eater behind his house.  When his dog started barking, he grabbed his AR and headed out the back door. When he stepped outside, he saw that his dog was cowering. After seeing how upset she was, he started looking around. Almost instantly, he saw a huge, dark shape that looked to be well over 10-feet tall that was close to the edge of the woods, looking at him. Tonight's guest, Bruce Brown, is a former law enforcement officer who had his first Sasquatch sighting when he was 8-years-old. He was trying to fly a kite, at the time, when he saw 3 Sasquatch. Bruce says the Sasquatch seemed to be more interested in watching him as he was trying to get it to fly than they were in just watching him. Bruce thought they were gorillas. He had no clue what they actually were. It wasn't until his great grandmother sat him down and had a little talk with him that he came to understand what they actually were. The experience he had that day, when he was trying to fly that kite was just the tip of the iceberg, when it comes to the experiences he's had with Sasquatch. One of the most notable encounters he's had with a Sasquatch happened one night when he was working as a Sherrif's deputy and was on the scene of an accident investigation. That night, he stood feet from a female Sasquatch that had been severely injured, after being hit by a car. Tonight's guest, Dan Schmidt, was born and raised in Southern Minnesota. When Dan was growing up there, he had what could very easily be the most frightening Dogman encounter that's ever been shared on the show. You see, when he was 9-years-old, Dan and his cousin spent the night at his grandma and grandpa's farm, during winter break. The encounter happened the first night Dan and his cousin were there. When it happened, Dan was laying on the couch, in the living room and his cousin was laying on a make-shift bed his grandma had made, on the living room floor. Some time between 1 and 2 AM, Dan was awoken by a noise. Dan realized that it was the sound of the latch on the door to the back porch, of the house, being worked. Then, he heard that door being opened. Next, he heard slow, heavy footsteps walking across the back porch toward the back door of the house. When he heard those footsteps coming toward the back door, he looked at the back door. To his dismay, he then saw its doorknob turn and then the back door slowly open. What happened next was much more than most people would ever be able to handle. He watched a Werewolf walk into the house.
