Over time, it actually can become something we delight in, because it draws us closer to God. “I delight to do your will, O my God” (Psalm 40:8). I know I'm learning this so much right now. Obedience and disobedience also doesn't just affect us. It impacts the people around us in ways we may never fully see. The way we live, love, and follow God can point others back to Him (Matthew 5:16).Something else I'm learning is that obedience isn't something we're meant to put off forever. Dan takes us to downtown Dallas, across from Union Station, to an old hotel that's changed names so many times it's like it keeps trying to hide from its past. Room 1009 doesn't seem to care what the hotel is called, though. Stories of encounters with its ghosts remain unchanged. The room allegedly has a long, sordid history of murders and suspicious deaths tied to it. Then we explore the lore of the elegant Adolphous Hotel. It's been collecting tragedy since the first month it opened. On the nineteenth floor, guests still report hearing a woman sobbing like her heart is breaking in real time. Lynze starts off with a possible Grim Reaper sighting on the night of a confirmed death. Then, we head to Key West AKA Bone Island, for a ghost tour with an actual ghost. Being the kind soul she was and is, she decided to take him home with her, so she could nurse him back to good health. Due to his jet-black coat, she named him Shadow. As time went by, she came to realize that there was something special about Shadow. He had qualities normal dogs don't have, like piercing, amber-colored eyes that seemed as if they could look right through you. Also, normal dogs don't raise up onto their back legs and walk from the living room window to the front door, so they can look out. As he got close to the fishing hole, he heard some whoops, followed by footsteps that were following him. That unnerved him, but what happened to him when he reached his fishing hole, the intensity of his situation went through the roof. When he was approaching the fishing hole, he saw a Sasquatch standing knee-deep in the water. What happened to him that day traumatized Dave so much, he was terrified of the dark for years afterwards. Originally, he came on Episode 445, to talk about Dogman encounters he'd had in his main research area. Back when he came on Episode 445 to do that, he viewed the Dogmen in his research to be relatively docile. On Episode 626, however, he came back to tell us about the change in demeanor he's noticed from the Dogmen in that area. He now describes them as being dangerous. On Episode 626, he told us about several unnerving discoveries he'd made in his main research area that lead him to conclude that the Dogmen there are dangerous now. After he had shared all of those recent experiences and his opinions on them with us, there wasn't time for me to ask him the plethora of questions I had for him, so I asked Marshall if he'd come back, so I could do that and he agreed to do so. America is seeing the video from different angles of a woman getting shot to death by ICE. That means people know that Trump, Kristi Noem and others in the administration are not being truthful. Tonight's guest, Rodney, describes himself as being a farm boy who grew up on a farm, in Ohio. He'd hunted from the time he was knee-high to a grasshopper all the way up to 1983. After spending so much time in the woods, he thought he knew about everything out there in them. That confidence came crashing down, one night, in August of 1983, however. That was the night he had just stepped out of his house and found himself literally face to face with what looked to him like a huge, black Werewolf. When he shut the door to his house that night, turned and almost walked right into the thing, it was crouched like it was about to pounce on him. As if all that wasn't frightening enough, to Rodney's horror, it then did something that mortified him to his core. Tourists and locals alike report getting lost in the darkness of the San Francisco Catacombs - hearing whispered prayers from sealed passageways and more, suggesting that the catacombs maybe aren't just a museum, but instead, a place where the dead still watch the living who dare to enter their final home. On December 24th, around midnight, after Bruce Brown and I recorded last week's show (Episode 623), he drove to a property in Fentress County, Tennessee to investigate a Dogman sighting a farmer there had, recently. While he was looking around the farmer's property, nothing of note happened. When he was walking back to his car, however, that all changed. You see, when he had walked back to within about 15 to 20 yards from his car, he realized he wasn't alone… If you listened to last week's show, you heard Bruce come on and talk about the group of Dogman encounters he's had over the years, including the time he picked up a Dogman pup and examined it. Due to how many experiences he had to share on that show, I didn't have time to ask him the list of questions I had for him.
