This week on Wellington Rocks we talk to alternative indie dance pop band, Same Name Confusion. Formed in Christchurch by vocalist Luke Courtney and guitarists Alvin Bartley and Andrej Radosavljevic while in their final year at university, Same Name Confusion soon moved to Wellington after a brief period gigging in Christchurch and Dunedin. Like other Christchurch bands to make the move to Welly, they soon found their place in the scene with their danceable indie pop mixed with humorous lyrics about the mundane ordinary lives of many young New Zealanders. Last year they released their EP "In Theory" with the tracks "Must Be Lucky" and "Not Fake News" receiving airtime on student radio around the country. We talk to Luke about the bands origins, reasons for the move to Wellington, the spectacular live show and their future plans. Wellington Rocks is bought to you by Access Radio and NZ On Air.
