Well here is last weeks show for you this week. Somebody(Rob) neglected their duties and so any relevance this show had(none) is completely lost. Now that we cleared that up... last weeks show was about all the bad news and how we tried but failed to avoid it. Some good news did make it into the mix however. Of course Rob brought up SpaceX and their recent successful Starship hop. There were even some fun stories like how Rob became president of his Jr High ASB or Bex's pasta night that Rob got excited for. I am also pretty sure we talk about Antarctica, when dont we? And then there is the bad stuff we tried to avoid like politics, health, and the rest of it all. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/bexandrob/message
This weeks show includes all the nonsense you would expect, plus more. Bex starts put with some happy news about a video store. Rob believes that video stores have no happy news. But once they get past that, and video rentals/tanning, Rob only brings up Antarctica one time. And then things get weird when they decide to go on a tangent about Free Willy. This leads them to their most important discovery ever, which just happens to be the 4th installment of the Free Willy series. Also during the episode Rob learns that every person in film has been on Criminal Minds... whatever that is. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/bexandrob/message
Don't worry! While the title may suggest otherwise, Bex and Rob still kept their interaction with each other to a minimum. This week was a rollercoaster of emotion where Rob complained (possibly repeating himself because there is nothing else in his life) about everything he can't do right now. There was some discussion about Antarctica and the happenings, or non happenings, there. They also talked a little bit about some of the depressing events impacting the world. But they did also talk about some happy news stories to how to continue engaging with and supporting things that you enjoy during times like this. Speaking of which, if you would like to engage with us, ask any questions, tell any lies, or even just give us a topic to discuss on the show email us at bexandrobseparated@gmail.com --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/bexandrob/message
Who knows what happened this week? It is possible that neither Bex or Rob mentioned Antarctica.. just wow. It was like a rambling mess talking about everything from Taco Bell to Grey's Anatomy.. which is based on a book by a man named Gray. They also talk about the secret police force stalking Portland, Rob's fear of horses, and that guy that plays Sean Beans dad in that Lord of the Rings movie. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/bexandrob/message
After a short break Bex and Rob are back with a passion, even if the show is a bit more laid back than normal. With only rants about video games and kayaks there isn't much to complain about this week.. or is there? There is some chit chat about how people talk including all sorts of mispronunciations people make and the accent of Minnesotans. You also get to hear about Bex thinking like Pavlov's Dog, or just salivating. Then you get to hear some laughter over the prank Rob pulled on Bex over the Antarctic summer.. classic. And then they end the show talking a bit about voting and politics. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/bexandrob/message
Well on this episode there is some in depth discussion about Antarctica complete with Bex and Rob's ideas about what will happen there. They also discuss some of their feelings about social media, spreading of rumors, and how people can create their own problems. Strange enough Rob doesn't talk about SpaceX (lies). And then they bring up peoples current worries about their freedoms even though they never complain about any of the other requirements they have in life. Finally after the show there is a special telling from Bex about a dream she had. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/bexandrob/message
Will Rob ever stop bringing up SpaceX or Antarctica? Find out on this weeks show (you probably already know the answer, he sure does). Bex also talks a bit about how she has been getting her news, which hopefully includes bear socks. Politics, how they are chosen, and changes they would like to see are also discussed today. Rob talks a little bit about his travels. And they also talk about dogs and how they feel about them. Check out Bex's new news source here and help her get some bear socks. https://theflipside.io?rh_ref=dc7e1fc5 --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/bexandrob/message
Another week, another show. This time we talk more about current events of course including police brutality. We also talk about how we miss Antarctica and the life there, but not the food. If you didn't know, social media sucks, we talk about that too. And of course Rob loves to repeat himself, but that is ok because he loves the sound of his own voice. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/bexandrob/message
After missing a week for various reasons Bex and Rob and back bickering together. They talk a bit about the current turmoil going on, ahhh. They also discuss a bit of disgust for Karens, but that might have only been before they started, hah. Discussions also go into SpaceX and NASA launching astronauts to the International Space Station. As well as the rocket that SpaceX blew up shortly before the astronauts launched. Also wouldnt you know it, they still manage to bring up Antarctica for no reason at all. And in the end they talk about their dealings with video games, past and present. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/bexandrob/message
On this show we talk some more about what is going on in the world and how strange it all is. We also talk a little bit about Rob's camping trip, but mostly in relation to SpaceX satellites, sigh. We hear more about the outdoors from Bex and how she hates being there but loves what it offers. There is also a small discussion about how we do or do not occupy our time. And what is another week without at least one set of thoughts referring to Antarctica. Also, we are slowly but surely working on getting any technical issues worked out, so thank you for patience. They will also give you their top notch movie reviewer thoughts on some of the top movies of the age. Then the flat Earth comes up as well as their favorite questions about Antarctica. This week Bex and Rob talk around some thoughts. They start with some general thoughts on what is happening in the world such as why people in Georgia might not be able to drive. They also talk about haircuts and the fears and fun surrounding them. And of course there is the obligatory talk about Antarctica and the world and life down there. And you can even hear some chit chat about music, in the real world and on the Ice. After a belated shark week discussion Bex and Rob talk a bit about about golf. The good, the bad, and the golf carts. Then they get into their Antarctica origins and what got them working down there. And they also sing their praise for New Zealand and agree on their hate for people. After another week in quarantine Bex and Rob are here to tell you about all of the things that they didn't do. That will come with a side that will give you a weird political taste in your mouth. But you can wash it all down with some corrections from last weeks show. Upon leaving Antarctica after another summer season Bex and Rob have decided to turn their popular Ice Radio show into a podcast. *Forgive us! Rob's sound cut out at the end of the show. We hope to keep our growing pains to a minimum in the future* So here they are doing whatever it is they do, but luckily this time they dont have to be in the same room together.
