Martin Amini a good friend of the show and a stand up comic based in Los Angeles and born and raised in Silver Spring, MD. Martin recently made Thrillist's"Best Undiscovered Stand Up Comedian list" and has opened for headliners such as Trevor Noah, Jerrod Carmichael, and Hasan Minaj. Martin's stand-up material touches on what it's like growing up mixed in America coming from an Iranian and Bolivian background. Franqi French is a regular at The DC Improv, DC Comedy Loft, The Kennedy Center, the Hollywood Improv and the world-famous Comedy Store and has shared the stage with Donnell Rawlings, Fortune Feimster, Todd Glass, D.L. Hughley, Nicole Byer, among other talented comedians. She has made guest appearances on WeTV, TVOne’s “The Roland Martin Show,” and has headlined The Bentzen Ball as well as The Black Women in Comedy Festival in Brooklyn. Franqi is also one of the 8 Stand Up NBC Finalist as well as a phenomenal producer of her own show “Broadway” at DC’s very own Drafthouse Comedy.
