Apple Brown Betty, is a powerhouse performer with a trajectory that is out of this world. Her storied career has seen several evolutions; from television host, to social media star, to radio personality. In 2020, she assumed her ultimate form as a stand-up comedienne. Raised in Richmond VA, Betty's elegant stage presence belies a boldness that audiences love. Her charming, southern sensibility allows her to approach topics that many shy away from with ease. Betty was selected as one of Bob Sumner's Rising Stars of Comedy after just a year in the industry. Her natural talent has been honed on some of the grandest stages the comedy world has to offer, including The World Famous Comedy Store, The Hollywood Laugh Factory, The Hollywood Improv, The DC Improv, The DC Comedy Loft and the legendary Apollo Theater. Betty has also blazed stages in the Willingboro Comedy Festival, the Because They're Funny Festival and the American Black Film Festival. An evening with Apple Brown Betty means a night of laughter and love. She spreads that love even further on social media, where she interacts daily with her friends, followers and fans. #applebrownbetty #socialmedia #radiopersonality #chrispomay #livewithcdp #wqee #barrycullenchevrolet https://beacons.ai/chrisdpomay Want to create live streams like this? Jon Yeager is a comedian originally from Baltimore, “but please, don't hold that against him.” Yeager's blend of comedy includes satire, whip-smart topical humor, rapid fire one-liners, self-deprecation, wordplay, shirt form embarrassing stories, crowdwork, and, of course, an occasional interpretive dance.* *please have a cabaret license Jon has opened or featured for: Kevin Nealon, Dave Coulier, Tony Woods, Jordan Carlos, Christian Finnegan, Kevin Farley, Zoltan Kaszas, Jimmie “JJ” Walker, Kevin Lee, and Carmen Lynch, just to name a few. Jon has done voiceover work for several commercials. Jon has also finished second six times in the DC Improv Pun DMV contest, but he's not proud of that. Jon is a featured player in The Constituents, the DMV's premiere political humor show, portraying Steve Bannon, Bernie Sanders, William Barr, Ted Cruz, and currently on stage and online, President Donald Trump. He's not a fan of him, unless you're booking. Welcome back to another episode of the Open Mike Radio Podcast oh and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! Sorry for the delay got a little busy but I brought the Broken Mic Comedy brother Brandon Moore over and talked little trash about 2018 what we have planned in 2019. We both agreed that neither of us wanted any of the Monopoly work, how those damn O'Driscolls are something else and how Brandon Moore will be done with comedy in 2019 not because he is quitting (again) but because the woman will not let him.
