P.S. June's favorite things book is acrylic in Prussian Blue on regular paper taped together to document all the high contrast things she is noticing around our house...Christmas lights, her dad's mustache, the rocking chair back, a random wooden woodpecker. P.P.S. The pinwheels were made by painting both sides of a single sheet of paper before following the tutorial below. I used weights (grapefruits I had on the table) to hold down the middle pieces until they dried. I then used a plaster nail to poke through the center and nail into the wall with enough space for them to stick out and (sort of) spin. You could use wrapping paper, cards from baby gifts or construction paper. After a four month break, I'm back with another episode! This time grab a paper a pencil and let's write and draw a silly story with the help of some friends.
When I was little I wanted to be a fashion designer. In honor of the Met Gala I ripped my way back to one of my favorite sketchbook activities from my past.
Follow along with me, my mom and my niece as we take turns telling each other what to draw before...drum roll...The Big Reveal.
Want to know/write/draw your quarantine nickname? Learn how to roll call in today's episode with the help of Melissa from last episode.

Today we check in with the Santo family who spent the weekend creating their own Mystery Bags. Not in the mood for a treasure hunt? Curl up and dedicate a sketch to someone you love.
Tap into your happy sad feelings while illustrating a tiny story and creating your own mystery bag (or box) to enjoy.
Yesterday, we sent the inside out. Now we bring the outside in.
Join sister and roommate duo, Molly & Maggie, for today's window-centric challenge.
Today we check in Kelly & Kyle who spent the weekend creating a game using supplies from their junk drawer. All gamed out? I've included a few drawing based activities to do in your sketchbook.
Games. We play them. We win some. We lose some. And now...we make them.
One of the best parts of creating is definitely seeing what you come up. Mix that with the unique creativity of the people around you and it’s even better. Throw in an extremely talented musician, singer/songwriter and well, you get a new favorite song.
Yesterday we drew, today we scramble and guest Kelli cooks up a delicious short story.
CGAmF...four chords that can unlock hundreds of songs. Turns out, they are also the answer to unlocking the first epsiode of my art prompt podcast.
