Korey and Ariel talk with Peytan about moving to Nashville, spending a summer living out of her car and the Seagayle studios, and the details behind her latest single "Therapy." They also talk about relationships and dating and knowing your worth.

Andrew Van Etten is a Nashville singer, songwriter, music producer, and just an all around good guy. Korey and Ariel talk with Andrew about his journey to Nashville, hear a couple of original songs (including the unreleased "Spark"), and talk about the people and artists who have inspired Andrew along the way.

Korey and Ariel ask Jason to play a song that he wrote for his new baby son. Jason also talks about his pre-write process, playing sports in high school, and his favorite song he's ever written.

Jason Nix talked with Korey and Ariel for so long that they had to split it up into two episodes! They're both totally worth the listen though. In part 1, Jason talks about what brought him to Nashville and a few things that he's learned in his 16 years in Music City.  He shares a heart-wrenching unreleased tune, "Eastern Kentucky," and talks about what he's learning since becoming a new dad to him and his wife's sweet baby boy. This episode sets the record for most tears shed on the Dirt Road Show :).

Korey and Ariel talk to their friend, country music artist Nate Smith, about moving to Nashville in 2020, signing a publishing deal with Sony, writing with hall of fame songwriters, and touring with Brett Eldredge.  Nate also plays an acoustic version of his popular song "Sleeve," and plays an unreleased tune, titled "You Shouldn't Have To."

After 10 years of working, writing, and not sleeping (not to mention a cancer diagnosis) in Nashville, Brett Sheroky signed with Sea Gayle Music as a writer in 2020. Korey and Ariel talk with Brett about why he picked up a guitar in 8th grade and didn't put it down, how he and his wife Christi moved to Nashville the day after their wedding, and what he and his family have chosen to give up in pursuit of his career as a singer/songwriter.

Korey and Ariel talk about how they met Taylor and then spent some time with her in Nashville. Taylor talks about her time as a radio DJ in Kentucky, and sings a couple of original songs, including the unreleased "Water Me Down." Taylor also talks about three songs that she'll be releasing before 2021 is over. 

Korey and Ariel interview the beautifully unique Sydney Mack. They talk about Sydney's time on Season 14 of American Idol, interning in Nashville, and Sydney plays her unreleased song "Wildflower."

McCoy Moore is relatively new to the Nashville scene, but he's already making a name for himself thanks to his mature baritone voice and his knack for writing catchy, relatable tunes. Korey and Ariel ask McCoy about his upbringing, his first time meeting Luke Combs, and what the next year looks like for this talented singer-songwriter.
