Hello! Just a quick update. So much has happened since my first surgery. I have now had a total 6 endometriosis related surgeries. I also had an appointment today with a different gynecologist and she said this will be a long road which I already knew and have been telling myself. We must be gentle with ourselves.
Happy January! It's been a year since I started this! I'm sharing today a little about COVID, my blood clot, my new diagnosis. Still having lots of pain and new issues since my 6th endometriosis surgery. https://www.facebook.com/everydaywithamy/
Hello! I had my 6th Endometriosis Surgery that was 6 hours long on 8/31/20. Then had complications of a massive blood clot. They had to remove my blood clot and save my heart. I was literally hours away from dying if I did not go in to the ER. I'm so thank that my husband took me in when he did and so thankful that God saved my life. Thank you for listening.
Hello! In August 2019, I had another endometriosis surgery with an appendectomy. That surgery left me with stump appendicitis that caused me to have to have another surgery to fix the stump that was left behind. I'm sorry I ended this episode so abruptly. I didn't expect to have so much emotion while telling this story. It's still very raw for me. Thanks for listening.

Hello. Sharing about what brought me to finally get my first endometriosis surgery in February 2017. This feels like it doesn't matter with what is going on in the world. Due to the Pandemic, we had to cancel our Endometriosis Awareness Walk. We do look forward to rescheduling it. This is just a brief update on what is going on in the world and my experience with my oldest daughter who was diagnosed with pneumonia at the end of January. Could it have been coronavirus? We are in California and we are staying home and up to date. Raw and from the heart. Thanks for listening.
It took me 29 years to get diagnosed with Endometriosis.
