Ainsley's Angels is on of the non-profits participating in this year's Christmas Tree Challenge and we are so thrilled that we were able to sit down with them to learn more about their organization, it's impact, and the why behind it. Ainsley's Angels started with Ainsley and has now grown to have a national impact! We are joined by Ainsley's Dad (Rooster), Michele Tritt who is the Fredericksburg Ambassador, and Devlin from the YMCA!

Tim Pohanka was able to sit down with Dee Daniels from B101.5 to talk about her career in Radio and how she got to where she is today. Dee let us in to a little sneak peek about her life outside of the radio that give us a little insight to who the person behind the radio host is. Dee has devoted her career working on the radio to help others and continuously supports the Children's Nationals Hospital which is an organization who's mission is very close to her heart. We were able to sit down with Stafford Food Security and talk about their contributions to the Fredericksburg Community and they have done, and continue to do, so much for our local community! They work daily to help with food insecurities within the community by providing school-based meals to children and their families. Micah Ministries is a local, Fredericksburg, nonprofit that helps those in need. One area that the Pohanka Family has spent a lot time working with is the Micah Ministries Furniture Bank, which helps furnish homes of those who are recovering from an experience of not having their own house or apartment. This could be those leaving a shelter, those who have experienced a traumatic event and have lost their homes, and the list goes on of those in need who they help...free of charge. They truly understand the meaning of helping their community and we can't be happier to know that we have organizations out there helping our community members.

We were able to meet with Mental Health America of Fredericksburg to talk about how COVID-19 and social distancing can effect the mental health of the community. We are so excited that we got to sit down with Nick from the Fredericksburg Nationals and get an update on the stadium progress and how they are currently handling the COVID-19 situation. We learned the stadium is still progressing and what other amazing events will be held at the FredNats stadium in the future!

We sat down with one of our service technicians, Maggie. Standing at 4'10'' she defies the odds and excels as a service technician. She discusses some challenges she faces in the industry and with her daily tasks and how she overcomes them. She is an inspiration to us all with her determination and drive! We are so thankful to have a female technician on our team to be a role model for young women everywhere, showing them that they can be whatever they want when they grow up! 

We spoke with Angela Rivers from UMFS, a foster care agency in the Fredericksburg, VA area. Angela gives a background of UMFS and how you can get involved with foster care to help with children in the foster care system. Our debut episode with Cooking Autism, Inc covers how the organization got started, how they've grown, and their plans for the future. April talks about her journey with finding out both of her sons were Autistic and how this encouraged her to create this program in local schools to help all children!

We spoke with Tommy Johnson, a Nissan Master Technician here at our dealership. Tommy talks about his journey to becoming a Nissan Master Technician and gives his advice to those starting out in the industry.
