El Gobierno boliviano anunció la creación de una comisión especial para combatir la impunidad en delitos sexuales. Entre ellos, los casos vinculados a la Iglesia Católica. Con la misión de revisar denuncias, analizar expedientes y colaborar con el Ministerio Público en investigaciones referidas a abusos contra menores, incluso aquellos que hayan prescrito o que no hayan avanzado ante la justicia, el Gobierno de Rodrigo Paz anunció la creación de una comisión para combatir la impunidad en abusos sexuales. “Hemos creado esta comisión mixta, en el sentido de que no vamos a generar un doble juzgamiento, sino que vamos a fiscalizar con las atribuciones constitucionales que tiene la Asamblea, departamento por departamento, ciudad por ciudad, contando con el apoyo de muchos abogados que existen y están registrados en el Registro Público de la Abogacía acá en Bolivia”, explicó a RFI Manolo Rojas, diputado del el Partido Demócrata Cristiano (PDC), partido vencedor en las urnas hace tres meses. “Y vamos a ver el tema netamente técnico. Si han habido inconsistencias en algunos casos, seguramente encontraremos también corrupción, con la única finalidad de elaborar un informe, porque este informe nos va a servir como piedra fundamental para abrir la Constitución Política del Estado, generar el debate para ingresar a una cadena perpetua sobre los violadores de niños y niñas y los infanticidas”, precisó. Escuchar a las víctimas Entre tanto, la Comunidad Boliviana de Sobrevivientes (CBS), organización de víctimas de abusos eclesiales que denunció en los tribunales los casos cometidos por la Compañía de Jesús boliviana, se muestra muy prudente ante la futura gestión de esta comisión creada por el Gobierno, luego de haberse quedado al margen tras no contar con el testimonio de sus víctimas. “Nosotros valoramos ese intento, pero lo que sí cuestionamos y vemos con mucha pena es que la Compañía de Jesús quiere invisibilizar a la organización existente. Una comisión de la verdad debería constituirse con las víctimas. Nosotros pacientemente vamos a esperar. Esperemos que ellos de su propia voluntad se comuniquen con nosotros para que podamos trabajar juntos. Nosotros por nuestro lado estamos trabajando”, nos comentó su presidente Wilder Flores. RFI preguntó directamente al diputado Manolo Rojas si la Comunidad Boliviana de Sobrevivientes será escuchada y aportará ayuda en esta comisión contra la impunidad: “Va a ser parte importante. Lo primero es generar el aspecto técnico jurídico, y posteriormente vamos a tener unas reuniones donde vamos a escuchar las experiencias y vamos a hacer un realce sobre las causas o los motivos de por qué no han podido acceder a justicia”, aseguró. El trabajo de la comisión comenzará en marzo e incluirá la habilitación de una oficina para que los interesados puedan denunciar los casos en los que hubo impunidad o falta de celeridad por parte de la justicia.

Expoziția este realizată în parteneriat cu Uniunea Artiștilor Plastici din Republica Moldova, în cadrul proiectului inițiat de Ateneul Național din Iași, cu sprijinul Primăriei Municipiului Iași, și desfășurat sub patronajul Comisiei Naționale a României pentru UNESCO, și include artiști plastici din ambele țări, notează TVR Moldova. *** În această dimineață, circulația pe drumurile publice din Republica Moldova se desfășoară în condiții de iarnă. Astăzi și mâine este valabil un Cod Portocaliu și Cod Galben de precipitații puternice și intensificări ale vântului. Potrivit meteorologilor, în zonele aflate de codul portocaliu se așteaptă ninsori și lapoviță abundentă, cu cantități între 20 și 35 de litri pe metru pătrat. Vântul va sufla cu rafale de până la 15-20 metri pe secundă. Va viscoli, se vor forma troiene, iar vizibilitatea va fi redusă. Pe drumuri este posibil să se formeze ghețuș, iar izolat se pot produce depuneri de lapoviță și polei. Agenția națională a drumurilor îndemnă șoferii să manifeste prudență sporită. În următoarele zile, temperaturile ar putea coborî până la -10 grade noaptea.

El Gobierno boliviano anunció la creación de una comisión especial para combatir la impunidad en delitos sexuales. Entre ellos, los casos vinculados a la Iglesia Católica. Con la misión de revisar denuncias, analizar expedientes y colaborar con el Ministerio Público en investigaciones referidas a abusos contra menores, incluso aquellos que hayan prescrito o que no hayan avanzado ante la justicia, el Gobierno de Rodrigo Paz anunció la creación de una comisión para combatir la impunidad en abusos sexuales. “Hemos creado esta comisión mixta, en el sentido de que no vamos a generar un doble juzgamiento, sino que vamos a fiscalizar con las atribuciones constitucionales que tiene la Asamblea, departamento por departamento, ciudad por ciudad, contando con el apoyo de muchos abogados que existen y están registrados en el Registro Público de la Abogacía acá en Bolivia”, explicó a RFI Manolo Rojas, diputado del el Partido Demócrata Cristiano (PDC), partido vencedor en las urnas hace tres meses. “Y vamos a ver el tema netamente técnico. Si han habido inconsistencias en algunos casos, seguramente encontraremos también corrupción, con la única finalidad de elaborar un informe, porque este informe nos va a servir como piedra fundamental para abrir la Constitución Política del Estado, generar el debate para ingresar a una cadena perpetua sobre los violadores de niños y niñas y los infanticidas”, precisó. Escuchar a las víctimas Entre tanto, la Comunidad Boliviana de Sobrevivientes (CBS), organización de víctimas de abusos eclesiales que denunció en los tribunales los casos cometidos por la Compañía de Jesús boliviana, se muestra muy prudente ante la futura gestión de esta comisión creada por el Gobierno, luego de haberse quedado al margen tras no contar con el testimonio de sus víctimas. “Nosotros valoramos ese intento, pero lo que sí cuestionamos y vemos con mucha pena es que la Compañía de Jesús quiere invisibilizar a la organización existente. Una comisión de la verdad debería constituirse con las víctimas. Nosotros pacientemente vamos a esperar. Esperemos que ellos de su propia voluntad se comuniquen con nosotros para que podamos trabajar juntos. Nosotros por nuestro lado estamos trabajando”, nos comentó su presidente Wilder Flores. RFI preguntó directamente al diputado Manolo Rojas si la Comunidad Boliviana de Sobrevivientes será escuchada y aportará ayuda en esta comisión contra la impunidad: “Va a ser parte importante. Lo primero es generar el aspecto técnico jurídico, y posteriormente vamos a tener unas reuniones donde vamos a escuchar las experiencias y vamos a hacer un realce sobre las causas o los motivos de por qué no han podido acceder a justicia”, aseguró. El trabajo de la comisión comenzará en marzo e incluirá la habilitación de una oficina para que los interesados puedan denunciar los casos en los que hubo impunidad o falta de celeridad por parte de la justicia.

During Kaddish, the Hazzan must recite "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" along with the congregation. The Mishna Berura writes that the Hazzan recites "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" silently, and then raises his voice again when he reaches the word "Yitbarach." The work Az Nidberu (Rav Binyamin Zilber, 1916-2008) explains the Mishna Berura to mean that the Hazzan may recite "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" silently if he so wishes, but he must then raise his voice beginning with the word "Yitbarach." This ruling, the Az Nidberu explains, is based on the Lebush (Rav Mordechai Yoffe, 1530-1612), who writes that when the congregation responds to Barechu by declaring, "Baruch Hashem Ha'meborach Le'olam Va'ed," the Hazzan also makes this declaration, and may do so silently if he so wishes. By the same token, the Hazzan may recite "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" silently. It is unclear, however, why, according to this view, the Gemara's promise of reward for one who responds to "Yeheh Shemeh" with "all his strength" ("Be'chol Koho") does not apply to the Hazzan. We would assume that just as the members of the congregation are encouraged to respond "with all their strength," this should be true of the Hazzan, as well. The answer, as some have suggested, might be that the "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" response is primarily for the congregation, and not for the Hazzan. The Hazzan joins only so that he does not exclude himself from the congregation. Therefore, it is not necessary for him to recite it loudly. However, there seems to be a different reason to require the Hazzan to recite "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" aloud. The Shulhan Aruch (104:7) writes that if somebody hears Nakdishach or Kaddish while he recites the Amida, he should pause and listen attentively to the Hazzan, whereby he can be considered to have responded to Nakdishach and Kaddish. This ruling clearly assumes that the Hazzan recites the entire Kaddish – including "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" – loudly, such that the congregants who are still reciting the Amida can listen and thereby fulfill the Misva of responding. It is possible that the Mishna Berura referred to a case where nobody in the congregation was still reciting the Amida, and for this reason, he wrote that the Hazzan does not need to recite "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" out loud. Regardless, the accepted practice is that the Hazzan recites "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" aloud, just like the rest of the Kaddish. In light of what we have seen, the Hazzan must have in mind when reciting Kaddish (and Nakdishach, for that matter) that his recitation should fulfill the obligation for those who are reciting the Amida and thus cannot respond. Those who wish to fulfill the Misva by listening to the Hazzan can do so only if both they and the Hazzan have this in mind, and it is therefore imperative that the Hazzan has in mind to fulfill the obligation for those who cannot respond. In fact, the Ben Ish Hai (Rav Yosef Haim of Baghdad, 1833-1909) writes that if a person reciting the Amida knows that the Hazzan is unaware of this Halacha, and does not have in mind for his Kaddish recitation to fulfill the obligation for those reciting the Amida, then there is no reason for this person to interrupt his Amida prayer to hear the Kaddish. Since the Hazzan does not have in mind for his recitation to fulfill the listeners' obligation, the listeners have no possibility of fulfilling their obligation, and they might as well just continue their Amida without pausing to hear the Hazzan's recitation of Kaddish. Hacham Ovadia Yosef concurred with this ruling. Summary: During Kaddish, the Hazzan recites "Yeheh Shemeh Rabba" together with the congregation. He should do so in a loud voice – like the rest of Kaddish – and should have in mind that those who are reciting the Amida, and thus cannot respond, will fulfill their obligation by listening to his recitation.

România a luat jumătate din banii gratis prin PNRR și un sfert din fondurile europene de coeziune (Cotidianul) Cum poate Nicușor Dan să transforme participarea la Consiliul Pǎcii de la Washington într-un atu strategic (Adevărul) Participarea președintelui Nicușor Dan la Consiliului Pǎcii de la Washington marchează un punct de cotitură pentru administrația de la Cotroceni, însă succesul acestui demers depinde de transformarea unei decizii tardive într-o ofensivă diplomatică regională, spune analistul Gabriel Done.  „Anunțul recent al președintelui Nicușor Dan, conform căruia România va participa la primul summit al Consiliului pentru Pace (BoP) în calitate de observator, reflectă o decizie cu potențial strategic, dar luată într-un context de sincronizare imperfectă cu partenerii săi europeni. În timp ce Bulgaria va participa ca membru, iar Cipru își asumă participarea în calitate de observator în numele Președinției rotative a UE, România rămâne în afara cercului central al deciziilor, ceea ce pune în evidență o inadecvare în alinierea cu principalele capitale partenere”, spune expertul. Această decizie, chiar dacă tardivă, poate fi interpretată pozitiv, adaugă Done pentru Adevărul. România are acum oportunitatea de a folosi BoP pentru a-și legitima mandatul internațional asumat de președintele Dan și a-și reconstrui profilul în politica externă. „Contextul intern a forțat însă această acțiune: opoziția, în special formațiunea AUR, a preluat agenda politică externă, lăsând atât Palatul Cotroceni, cât și guvernul, într-o poziție defensivă, în off-side. Aceasta a creat un climat în care președintele Dan trebuie să acționeze pro-activ, pentru a-și reafirma relevanța și a calma vocile interne critice.” Fără dar și poate, decizia Palatului Cotroceni de a participa, chiar și ca observator, are semne bune, deoarece „oferă României o fereastră pentru influență într-un format internațional complicat, dar și pentru a demonstra voință de colaborare transatlantică.” Cu toate acestea, succesul acestei decizii depinde de capacitatea președintelui Dan de a dubla participarea cu o politică regională coerentă. „Trebuie să inițieze dialoguri strategice cu Bulgaria, Turcia și Cipru, imediat după alinierea cu Italia, pentru a evita percepția de izolare și lipsă de consistență”, explică expertul. Investiţiile, dacă se vor realiza, nu se realizează peste noapte, nu au efect imediat, se văd în statistică mult mai încolo. Noi avem nevoie acum, nu peste un an, de câteva măsuri pe termen scurt care să revigoreze consumul, de la consumul de alimente, produse nealimentare, bunuri de folosinţă îndelungată, maşini, până la vânzările de apartamente. Aproape toată lumea stă pe bani, aproape toată ecomomia stă pe bani şi se uită la ei cum stau în depozitele bancare sau prin sertare. Dacă banii stau, nu avem niciun fel de creştere economică, iar de la recesiune, fie ea şi tehnică, nu mai este decât un pas până la o criză economică, scrie jurnalistul Cristian Hostiuc în Ziarul Financiar. În privința PNRR stă și mai prost. UE ne roagă cu bani gratis, dar România nu e capabilă să-i absoarbă. Autoritățile promit să atragă în 2026 ce nu au reușit în cinci ani. În decembrie 2026 vine bilanțul final. Va fi PNRR un succes sau un eșec răsunător?

“All In: The Heart of a Disciple, Part Two”Mark 12:41-44Having recently completed our series “None Like Jesus” let's continue to “Behold Him” by embarking on a new study through the Gospel of Mark. Mark's Gospel is the shortest of the four Gospels and it is action-packed from start to finish – as evidenced by the word “immediately” used over 40 times. Mark wrote to believers, probably Roman believers, who were no strangers to persecution. And he wanted to disciple his readers to be strong in their faith by encouraging them to look to their Mighty Messiah, the Son of God, who remained steadfastly faithful even while becoming their Suffering Servant who died for them. Mark's Gospel is a call to all believers to fearlessly “Follow Jesus” because they can trust Him completely.

The legacy of this internationally renowned ensemble, innovators of the "jubilee" singing style which influenced the national sound of quartets in the black community before World War II. The most popular of the Jubilee quartets, the Golden Gate Quartet started singing as the Golden Gate Jubilee Quartet in the mid-'30s when they were students at Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk, VA. The membership included Willie Johnson (baritone and narrator), Henry Owens (first tenor) William Langford (second tenor), and Orlandus Wilson (bass). Their harmonies became very sophisticated, laced with a heavy dose of jazz and a Mills Brothers influence right down to their vocal imitation of instruments. In fact, next to the Mills Brothers, they were probably the best at the "sounding like instruments" technique. They built their reputation through performing on local radio shows and in churches. In 1937 the Gates signed to Victor's Bluebird affiliate and applied their unique jazz-swing sound to gospel titles like "Go Where I Send Thee," "The Preacher and the Bear," and "When the Saints Go Marchin' In." On Aug. 4, 1937, they recorded an amazing 14 songs in two hours at the Charlotte Hotel in North Carolina. They performed in the same year on NBC Radio's "Magic Key Hour." In June 1940, they recorded several sides with the legendary folk singer Leadbelly, released in 1941 on Bluebird's parent label, Victor. By now they had dropped the Jubilee portion of their name, presenting themselves strictly as the Golden Gate Quartet. Though their recorded repertoire from 1937 to 1940 includes mostly gospel and Jubilee songs, they did record two pop-jazz 78s: "Stormy Weather" and "My Prayer." One of the highlights of this period was a performance for President Franklin Roosevelt's inauguration, which led to a number of appearances at the White House at the request of Eleanor Roosevelt. In 1941 they moved to Columbia's Okeh affiliate, and their entire recorded output during the war years was on that label. The most successful of these records was a version of "Comin' in on a Wing and a Prayer" in 1943. Their biggest record success came in 1947 with the song "Shadrack," and in 1948 the group appeared in the RKO musical "A Song Is Born," starring Benny Goodman, Danny Kaye, and Louis Armstrong. In 1959 the Golden Gate Quartet moved to Paris and landed a two-year deal to perform at the Casino de Paris. While based in Europe, they recorded for EMI-UK, Pathe Marconi in France, and EMI-Germany, creating more than 50 LPs. Over the years the group amassed a travelogue of 76 countries performed in.
