Friendly Interviews

It took until episode 23 before we got someone with an album to promote. For this episode, we are joined by Jack and Valerie. Jack and Mason are coworkers and can joke around about basically anything at work. Valerie is Jack's girlfriend and is the star of this episode. Both Jack and Valerie are very easy to talk to and quite funny if I do say so myself. For those looking to check out Jack's band, they are called "Oh Geeez" and their music is available pretty much anywhere you can get music from.

Our guest this week is Dallas. Dallas has been a good friend of Mason and Lindsay's since college. Not only does Dallas have a lot of swag, but he is also very athletic and kind. The only time Dallas is not kind is when he blatantly lies about the quality of guacamole that Mason makes. It is disappointing that Dallas would spread such falsehoods about Mason's guacamole.... Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe Dallas isn't so kind.

This week, we interview Brett Favre lovin', Burger King hatin' Josh and his wife Rachel. Mason has known Josh since they were little as they lived on the same street growing up. Josh and Rachel are a very fun couple to be around as they are always seeming to have a good time. Josh is the self proclaimed number 1 fan of Friendly Interviews and has coined the term "Friendliers" as the loyal fan group of Friendly Interviews (They meet on Sundays at 6am at an undisclosed location, turnout isn't great).

Starting off Season 2 right with Troy and Courtney. Troy is Mason's brother and Courtney is Troy's girlfriend. Troy and Courtney are both quick witted people who are a lot of fun to be around. Many different topics are covered in this episode from what is your favorite chip to who are you picking first on your imaginary basketball team. Friendly Interviews is back with a new logo and new intro song for season 2 so buckle up!

Our friends Travis and Ally join us for Episode 18 of Friendly Interviews. Travis and Mason have known each other since they were little while Lindsay and Ally are new friends. Known around southern Wisconsin as "Milwaukee's It Couple" Travis and Ally are just a blast to be around. In this episode, Travis explains why grass would enjoy getting cut, Ally talks about a mysterious man who ate all their Halloween candy, Lindsay brings up people's pet peeves and Mason questions the friendship between tables and chairs. Friendly Interviews number 1 fan, Mitch, joins the podcast! Mitch also just so happens to be Lindsay's dad and he has listened to every Friendly Interviews episode in preparation. This week we welcome Petey and Lauren to the podcast. Petey is one of Mason's friends from high school and Lauren is his fiancé. One interesting thing to note is that Petey is Kailee's brother (episode 15). As Lindsay points out, Petey and Lauren are a very fun couple to hang out with. During this episode, we find out more information about some countries that don't exist. Petey talks about a children's book that he may or may not be writing that is close to his heart. Lindsay's good friend, Kailee joins us for episode 15 of the Friendly Interviews podcast. Kailee is a goofball who is just a blast to be around. Episode 12 is a special episode, it is our first themed episode. In honor of March Madness, we brought in the best college basketball expert we could find, our friend Dan. Dan breaks down some of the most important matchup in the 2021 NCAA men's basketball tournament. However, the majority of the episode ends up not being directly related to teams playing. Lindsay and Mason address some very interesting fan mail that was submitted via email. Lindsay and Dan go back and forth on their reasoning behind which teams they think will make a run this year. Lindsay learns what basketball conferences are while Mason learns what posh stands for. Spoiler: Dan picks Wisconsin to lose in the 1st round despite being a Wisconsin alumni, should we question his allegiance? You tell me.

Our friend, Will, joins us on Friendly Interviews for episode 11. Will is a known liar who spends most of his interview trying to slander Mason's guacamole making skills. Lindsay fails to come to Mason's defense as Will spreads baseless lies about Mason making guacamole with a lack of flavor. Will and Lindsay fantasize about what Mason and Lindsay's future kid will look and act like. Did I mention that Mason makes pretty good guacamole?

Ashley, Josh and their daughter, Tinley join this week's podcast to talk about any topic from sub shops to punk rock bands. Mason addresses an awkward conversation at work while Lindsay reminisces about her and Ashley's rebellious attitudes as 6 year olds. Josh talks about a potential career opportunity, Ashley thinks about a missed opportunity out of high school to be a video vixen, while Tinley breaks down theoretical physics in a way only she can.

Kristi brings her positive energy and bubbly personality to this week's episode. Lindsay brags about her attempted steal of Whitney's friends. Kristi gives some inside info on constructing the perfect igloo while Mason talks about his past aspirations to build a large snow fort tower. Mondays and Tuesdays need to keep their heads on a swivel, while Saturday has the potential to be the perfect spouse. Kraig Fleen needs to be stopped.

This week we welcome our friend Elijah to the Podcast. Elijah explains why Mason has been blocked on Snapchat for all this time before then promoting his new food Instagram. Mason talks about a few different embarrassing moments from elementary school while Lindsay talks about the last time she went to the airport.

Our friends Brook and Daulton join us for episode 6 of Friendly Interviews. Daulton is a catcher/outfielder for the Arizona Diamondbacks as well as Brook's fiancé. Brook tells how Daulton popped the question while giving a tribute to Brook's mom. Daulton makes fun of Mason's lack of tan. Lindsay fantasizes about being a bee in the Jerry Seinfeld movie, Bee Movie. Mason spends and awkward amount of time impersonating Pokémon. Go Diamondbacks!

Lindsay's older sister, Andrea and her boyfriend, Marty join the podcast to chat about anything from apples to musical instruments. Marty brings along the new intro song for Friendly Interviews that he created. Andrea flexes her Nicholas Cage knowledge muscles while Marty shows Lindsay and Mason a few audio tricks. Ben and his girlfriend Courtney join us for the fourth episode of Friendly Interviews. Ben is one of Mason's oldest friends and Courtney is probably the newest. We interview Mason's friend and former college roommate, Tyler. Tyler consumes more candy than the rest of the state of Wisconsin combined (may have gotten that fact mixed up).
