Grave & Bustrs is an actual play podcast based on the roleplaying game Inspectres. Unlike most roleplaying games, the story is entirely improvised by both GM and players alike, often leading to whacky scenarios. Our story follows six amateur ghost hunters who start their own business, Bustrs, a paranormal investigation and elimination service tucked away in the back of an arcade. Follow along as Ang, Dmitri, Mary Sue, Rhett, Shannon, and Steve Butts attempt to hunt down ghouls and keep their business afloat. Welcome to Grave & Bustrs!
The team splits up to try to defend the rock from the ghost of Mr. Basham. Jim and Dmitri attempt to sleep. Ang seduces Mr. Basham. Steve reveals a secret. Shannon knocks out some Bustrs. Mary Sue wonders what if.
The Bustrs realize what must become of the rock touchers as the investigation around Camp Leboon continues. Shannon, Mary Sue, and Angela deal with Elliot. Steve finds Mr. Basham. Jim and Dmitri act out of character.

In the season five finale, the gang prepares to end their time with RipTok TV as they enter a bidding war for a new network. For their final case under RipTok, the Bustrs venture to a desolate cabin in the woods where a cryptic mirror awaits them.
The six interns return to the Boo-Gi-Oh! convention and race to eliminate the snake ghost in hopes of earning their pay and full time positions at Grave & Bustrs.
The interns continue their unsanctioned ghost hunt throughout the convention center. Cricket interviews catering. Esther plays mother. Linus follows breadcrumbs. Rodney finds some cards. Fiona spots the ghost. Bartholomew gets screwed.
In this bonus episode, six fresh faces arrive at Grave & Bustrs as unpaid interns. Before long, the interns break the rules by skipping orientation and instead head out to solve a case at the local Boo-Gi-Oh! convention.

The Bustrs split up and interview the three people they suspect of decapitating Erika. Dmitri and Steve grill Ronald. Shannon and Mary Sue snoop inside for Erika's hoard. Ang and Jim uncover secrets while questioning Duncan and Mrs. Harper.
With new ownership under Rip-Tok TV, the Grave & Bustrs office and staff get some upgrades. But before the grand re-opening begins, the team is hired by a ghost to solve her own grisly murder.
As the Bustrs struggle against their shadowy foes, shocking truths are revealed.
The six Bustrs split up and search around the manor, soon learning that things aren't quite as they seem. Later, an unwelcome visitor arrives as the amateur hunters become the hunted...
In this bonus episode, six new characters try their hand at ghost hunting as they intern at Grave & Bustrs. Join Abraham, Big Bonnie, Gail, Holly, Richard, and Travis as they respond to a case that takes them to the outskirts of Pepper Pond, where a night inside of an isolated mansion will change their lives forever...
The Trinity Mall case concludes with the Bustrs searching through the chaos for a mannequin, a turtle, and a hand as their showmance stories come to a close. Jim takes down a couple of perverts. Shannon saves Jim's hand from a grisly fate. Dmitri spreads his seed. Ang peaces out when danger resurfaces. Steve tells Kevin how he really feels. Mary Sue finally puts her medical training to use.
The Bustrs continue to look into the teleportation problem at the Trinity Mall before coming face to face with their foe, all while continuing to play up their showmances. Jim reels from his injury. Mary Sue chooses not to use her medical training. Ang switches suitors. Shannon stops for coffee. Dmitri and Steve reconnect.
In the season four finale, former CEO Steve Butts goes through a rigorous rehiring process while producer Holly Molly splits the team into forced showmances. Later, when customers begin to spontaneously teleport around the Trinity Mall, the group investigates and a heated scuffle has dire consequences for one Bustr.
The Bustrs must deal with a missing Frank the turtle, limited knowledge of the ghost, and a drunken Ang behind the wheel of the freighter as they attempt to close their latest case.

In the season four premiere, a new CEO, a fresh contract with MTV, and corporate bankruptcy all contribute towards some changes around Grave & Bustrs HQ. Later, the gang has an awkward encounter with Mystery Inc when both teams respond to a call after the Pepper Pond public pool fills with blood.
In the season three finale, lives are lost and loyalties are strained all while a new mayor of Pepper Pond is elected. Ang tries to save Brian Nelson. Rhett attempts to clobber a ghost. Mary Sue receives a message. Shannon awaits election results. Steve makes his big decision. Brad is backstabbed.
The gang attempts to communicate with the thunder and lightning ghosts to learn more of their plot against the train's conductor, Brian Nelson. Later, a violent accident leaves most of the group on the verge of death, and a tragic misfire sets one Bustr up to make the ultimate sacrifice...
With the town of Pepper Pond in need of a new mayor, a slew of strange candidates throw their hats into the ring, including Grave & Bustrs' own Shannon. But before election night strikes, the team responds to a bizarre case when a moving train is reportedly followed by a vicious thunderstorm.
The Bustrs split into pairs to try to unravel Jasmine's convoluted plot. Mary Sue and Rhett get into trouble while recovering evidence from Pepper Pond. Shannon and Steve Butts confront Mayor Towel about his hidden past. Brad and Ang deal with the girl scouts and exploit Jasmine's one weakness.
Blackmail, a false identity, and a mystery at the bottom of Pepper Pond await the Bustrs as they split up to investigate town hall. Later, Mayor Towel arrives and endures grievances and confrontations from several Bustrs.
Steve Butts meets with Mystery Inc CEO Fred Bones and receives an intriguing offer from him. Later, the Bustrs head to town hall where a flirtatious Girl Scout leader presents them with their latest case.
The fiasco concludes in messy fashion beneath the Pepper Pond Zoo. Bullets, feces, stress, and accusations all fly left and right both during the fight and back at the office, ending with one Bustr on the brink of termination and another on the brink of death...
The Bustrs split up and investigate the left-shoeless pandemic further. Brad is shocked when his own lie seems to have some truth to it. Steve deals with vandals. Shannon steers the group away from a secret. Ang puts her movie studio pass to good use. Rhett has a Tough Actin Tinactin mix-up. Mary Sue has gas.
In the season three premiere, the Bustrs are in a sorry state before a new producer, and a new employee, offers them a fresh start. A call from one of the Bustrs' family members sets the team off on a new case at the local zoo.

Following a team watch party of their latest Grave & Bustrs episode, the gang heads to the Pepper Pond movie studio to investigate a foul odor. Steve and Ang make some changes around the office. Shannon and Rhett excessively take out the trash. Mary Sue spots some unexpected ghouls from a vantage point. Dmitri has multiple encounters in enclosed spaces.
When Dmitri's latest invention cuts the Bustrs off from each other, Dmitri, Steve Butts, and Hodie the Clown must take it into their own hands to deal with the dog situation in the hillbilly's apartment.
As the situation on the sixth floor de-escalates, the horror on the fifth floor begins. Back at the office, Steve Butts calls in an outsider for help.
The Bustrs are reprimanded by Wilfred Berry as he reminds them what network their new show airs on. Later, the gang responds to a call and attempts to deal with a possessed child before running into an old acquaintance.
The Bustrs suit up using gear from their new party store and head back to Fort Honey to close the case. Rhett is distraught over the choices he's made. Shannon's espionage is thwarted by a new threat. Steve and Dmitri take on Private Potter. Ang and Mary Sue's competition for Sergeant Wilhelm's attention finds a victor.
The Bustrs explore Fort Honey and carefully navigate the mess of Privates who are stationed there. Steve and Dmitri share an intimate moment before encountering the wisp. Ang and Mary Sue investigate Private Potter's locker and uncover a connection between him and Sergeant Wilhelm. Rhett and Shannon commit war crimes.
In the season two premiere, Grave & Bustrs expands their operation after partnering with PBS for a new show. Rhett and Shannon are stuck talking to the lonely arcade owner. Steve desperately wants the group to notice something. Dmitri desperately wants the group to not notice something. Ang and Mary Sue get competitive when they each have their eyes set on a military man.
The season one finale concludes as the Bustrs head back to Tycoon Lagoon to clean up their many loose ends. Mary Sue, Ang, and Shannon deal with necromancing pied piper while Steve, Rhett, and Dmitri attempt to corral the reanimated corpses. After a celebration in the coroner's office gets out of hand fast, the team receives surprising news about the direction of their reality show.
The Bustrs follow the trail of missing corpses to Tycoon Lagoon, the waterpark at the edge of town. While searching the grounds, Rhett, Dmitri, and Ang have an encounter with a particularly hungry corpse, Steve and Shannon run into some competition, and Mary Sue's relaxing day on the lazy river is interrupted.
The Bustrs have an unexpected visitor and deal with him in an even more unexpected way. Later, the Pepper Pond Police Department's coroner hires the team to investigate when eight corpses vanish over night.
In the finale, the Bustrs attempt to rescue an unwell Shannon from The Flying Comrade as the parade of people collide in the bunker. With the New Years Eve countdown inching closer, the team races against the clock to find answers before midnight.
