    According to the 'Digital in 2017 Global Review' by We Are Social and Hootsuite, there are 2.789 billion (or 37% of the worlds total population) active social media users. In Australia, 65% of our total population are active social media users, which is almost double the global average of 37%. These statistics demonstrate how prevalent the topic of social media and security is in Australia. What should and shouldn't we be posting online? How private is our information really?
