The future of this system hangs in the balance due to possible future variants of the virus emerging, hence more lockdowns. An e-learning system was introduced for some classes, but there were many hitches. Other countries are employing e-learning with results. Is the fault solely with our government, the lack of resources necessary for students to access e-learning, or is the enthusiasm of the students who can access these systems are unwilling to adapt to the system because of a bias towards a new system.
