They attribute leftist defeats to the failure of socialism and credit the "Trump Corollary" to the Monroe Doctrine for encouraging democratic changes against regional narco-regimes. Mike shares his compelling personal journey of growing up in the former Soviet Union and immigrating to the U.S., offering a vital perspective on the dangers of socialism and communism as these terms resurface in modern politics. He also unveils his "three rules" for finding and underwriting great deals in the current volatile market, explaining how he targets positive spreads and deep discounts on construction costs.
In this episode of Crazy Wisdom, Stewart Alsop sits down with Javier Villar for a wide-ranging conversation on Argentina, Spain's political drift, fiat money, the psychology of crowds, Dr. Hawkins' levels of consciousness, the role of elites and intelligence agencies, spiritual warfare, and whether modern technology accelerates human freedom or deepens control. Javier speaks candidly about symbolism, the erosion of sovereignty, the pandemic as a global turning point, and how spiritual frameworks help make sense of political theater.Check out this GPT we trained on the conversationTimestamps00:00 Stewart and Javier compare Argentina and Spain, touching on cultural similarity, Argentinization, socialism, and the slow collapse of fiat systems.05:00 They explore Brave New World conditioning, narrative control, traditional Catholics, and the psychology of obedience in the pandemic.10:00 Discussion shifts to Milei, political theater, BlackRock, Vanguard, mega-corporations, and the illusion of national sovereignty under a single world system.15:00 Stewart and Javier examine China, communism, spiritual structures, karmic cycles, Kali Yuga, and the idea of governments at war with their own people.20:00 They move into Revelations, Hawkins, calibrations, conspiracy labels, satanic vs luciferic energy, and elites using prophecy as a script.25:00 Conversation deepens into ego vs Satan, entrapment networks, Epstein Island, Crowley, Masonic symbolism, and spiritual corruption.30:00 They question secularism, the state as religion, technology, AI, surveillance, freedom of currency, and the creative potential suppressed by government.35:00 Ending with Bitcoin, stablecoins, network-state ideas, U.S. power, Argentina's contradictions, and whether optimism is still warranted.Key InsightsArgentina and Spain mirror each other's decline. Javier argues that despite surface differences, both countries share cultural instincts that make them vulnerable to the same political traps—particularly the expansion of the welfare state, the erosion of sovereignty, and what he calls the “Argentinization” of Spain. This framing turns the episode into a study of how nations repeat each other's mistakes.Fiat systems create a controlled collapse rather than a dramatic one. Instead of Weimar-style hyperinflation, Javier claims modern monetary structures are engineered to “boil the frog,” preserving the illusion of stability while deepening dependency on the state. This slow-motion decline is portrayed as intentional rather than accidental.Political leaders are actors within a single global architecture of power. Whether discussing Milei, Trump, or European politics, Javier maintains that governments answer to mega-corporations and intelligence networks, not citizens. National politics, in this view, is theater masking a unified global managerial order.Pandemic behavior revealed mass submission to narrative control. Stewart and Javier revisit 2020 as a psychological milestone, arguing that obedience to lockdowns and mandates exposed a widespread inability to question authority. For Javier, this moment clarified who can perceive truth and who collapses under social pressure.Hawkins' map of consciousness shapes their interpretation of good and evil. They use the 200 threshold to distinguish animal from angelic behavior, exploring whether ego itself is the “Satanic” force. Javier suggests Hawkins avoided explicit talk of Satan because most people cannot face metaphysical truth without defensiveness.Elites rely on symbolic power, secrecy, and coercion. References to Epstein Island, Masonic symbolism, and intelligence-agency entrapment support Javier's view that modern control systems operate through sexual blackmail, ritual imagery, and hidden hierarchies rather than democratic mechanisms.Technology's promise is strangled by state power. While Stewart sees potential in AI, crypto, and network-state ideas, Javier insists innovation is meaningless without freedom of currency, association, and exchange. Technology is neutral, he argues, but becomes a tool of surveillance and control when monopolized by governments.
On Saturday, December 13, local immigrant rights advocates joined in a national day of protest against ICE and Home Depot with a rally and clothing drive at Crossgates Common. The activists demanded that the company take immediate action to stop Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in and around its stores nationwide. Across the country, Home Depot locations have become flashpoints in a growing human rights crisis. Immigration raids at and around stores have led to chaotic, violent, and frightening encounters—not only for immigrant workers and day laborers, but also for customers and surrounding communities. We hear from No Kings Collective Albany co-leader Bryan Paz-Hernandez, Tara from the Party of Socialism and Liberation, and Jahaira Roldan of the NY Immigration Coalition. This has been Mark Dunlea for the Hudson Mohawk Magazine.

The transformation of the Labour Party by 1997 is among the most consequential political developments in modern British history. Futures of Socialism overhauls the story of Labour's modernisation and provides an innovative new history. Diving into the tumultuous world of the British left after 1973, rocked by crushing defeats, bitter schisms, and ideological disorientation, Colm Murphy uncovers competing intellectual agendas for modern socialism. Responding to deindustrialisation, neoliberalism, and constitutional agitation, these visions of 'modernisation' ranged across domestic and European policy and the politics of class, gender, race, and democracy. By reconstructing the sites and networks of political debate, Futures of Socialism: ‘Modernisation', the Labour Party, and the British Left, 1973–1997 (Cambridge UP, 2023) explains their changing influence inside Labour. It also throws new light on New Labour, highlighting its roots in this social-democratic intellectual maelstrom. Futures of Socialism provides an essential analysis of social democracy in an era of market liberalism, and of the ideas behind a historic political reconstruction that remains deeply controversial today. Colm Murphy is a historian of modern British and Irish politics and political economy at Queen Mary University of London. He has published on 1970s-80s social democracy (including its political culture, evolving electoral strategy, and economic policymaking) and on Irish labour relations and nationalism in the 1910s. His more recent work has focused on the politics of economic policy, including Keynesianism, austerity, trade, and currency. Since 2018, Colm has worked for the Mile End Institute and is currently its Deputy Director. Jacob Ward is a historian at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. He has written in the history of science and technology, environmental history, business and financial history, and political history. He recently published Visions of a Digital Nation: Market and Monopoly in British Telecommunications (MIT Press, 2024) and he's currently working on a history of futurology in the United Kingdom and Europe from 1945 to the present day. Enrique Dussel Peters has a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Notre Dame. Professor at the Graduate School of Economics, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México since 1993. He is Coordinator of the Center for Chinese-Mexican Studies of the School of Economics at UNAM and of the Academic Network of Latin America and the Caribbean on China. His most recent book is “Latin America, China & Great Power Competition.” The US appears to be abandoning the Bretton Woods structure and some UN programs. US leadership with President Donald Trump is no longer dependable. Withdrawal from international institutions is foolhardy and counterproductive. Many experts are touting China as the emerging world leader. China is using Soft Power, such as the Belt and Road Project, to accomplish foreign policy goals. Eliminating USAID by President Trump damaged the reputation, alliances, efficiency and effectiveness of the US in many areas of the world.

I recently read a New York Times article claiming that women under socialism had more sex and better orgasms than women in capitalist Western countries. Sounds wild, right? But when you dig deeper, the real message is actually something I talk about all the time:Women shut down sexually when their lives are full of stress, chaos, financial pressure, and mental overload. This has nothing to do with politics — and everything to do with the realities couples face today. If you need a deeper dive into this, grab my book The Dead Bedroom Fix — and if you're ready to actually change your life, join The Brotherhood at https://helpformen.com/join

Love to hear from you; “Send us a Text Message”Advent sharpens our memory and our courage, and that's where we start: gratitude for the return of public faith and a renewed freedom to say Merry Christmas without apology. From there we move straight into the central question young people are asking in a noisy, anxious age: What is the truth, and how do I live it? We lay out the Claymore battle plan—recover your heart, restore marriage and family, and then rebuild culture—so purpose moves from an idea to a daily practice that changes lives. The Claymore battle plan is a practical map for spiritual formation and cultural rebuilding. The goal isn't outrage; it's forming men who can love well, raise families, start businesses with integrity, and anchor parishes that become bright centers of mercy and truth. If you're tired of false choices and hungry for a life that unites faith, work, and citizenship, this is your invitation to begin. Abundance and Why Selfishness is Good In this episode, we take on important questions like: "Is carbon dioxide good or bad?", "Is the American Dream still alive?", and "Why is selfishness good?" Canada has 3 proposed laws that may give their government a lot more power and take away a lot of freedom for their citizens. In his stories, George Orwell predicted a lot of the things going on now. While those that believe in Socialism say they want to make people "equal", nature has its own equilibrium. Government just needs to get out of the way. In order to achieve great things, we need to know that we can succeed and keep the benefits of our efforts. Tune in to find out why selfishness in a voluntary society is good. In today's world, anyone serious about anti-imperialism, global development, and monetary sovereignty needs to break through the well-funded US propaganda machine and develop a fact-based, nuanced understanding of China. To this end, Steve asked Yan Liang to come back to the podcast to look at China through the MMT lens, analyzing its economic management, global role, and response to Western villainization. They discuss China's development ethos and describe China as a state that actively uses its monetary and fiscal sovereignty to guide development towards internal goals (poverty alleviation, technological self-reliance, common prosperity) and external partnership (Win-win cooperation, Belt and Road Initiative). Illustrating the difference between state steering and the so-called “free market,” the conversation goes into China's mobilization of real resources through strategic state guidance, like Five-Year Plans and state-owned enterprises in key sectors. Yan talks about the use of capital controls and a managed exchange rate. She details lessons from 2015 and the application of MMT principles to insulate domestic policy from volatile external forces. Without romanticizing China, Yan also walks through its real challenges. But from an MMT-aware lens, these are seen as problems of policy design and resource use (issues a sovereign, planning-oriented state can address!) rather than proof of an impending collapse. Yan Liang is Peter C and Bonnie S Kremer Chair Professor of Economics at Willamette University. She is also a Research Associate at the Levy Economics Institute, a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Global Development Policy Center (Boston University), and a Research Scholar of the Global Institute for Sustainable Prosperity. Yan specializes in the Modern Monetary Theory (MMT), the Political Economy of China, Economic Development, and International Economics. Yan's current research focuses on China's development finance and industrial transformation, and China's role in the global financial architecture. https://www.linkedin.com/in/yan-liang-1355b91a2/ @YanLian31677392 on X

On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, history teaches us and helps demonstrate what patriotism is. But how can we demand patriotism from immigrants when we have American citizens on the neo-fascist right who trash our history? These people are not America first. How can they be America first when they don't understand our history, or founding? They will ensure that the Republicans lose the midterms and the Democrats choose the next president by causing even a small number of Republican and conservative voters to stay home. And the Marxist-Islamist left loves Carlson and the rest of them, as do the Democrat media that continuously promotes them. They know that he and his ilk will deliver them victories. We must do all we can to overcome this. Later, socialism light is not the answer to affordability. Capitalism is how you create prosperity and growth, which creates affordability and supply. Socialism light is also ineffective against aggressive socialism and the RINO proponents sound like liberals or Marxists. They lack coherent philosophy and resort to attacks while ignoring historical lessons from great minds like Milton Friedman, Mises, Hayek, Adam Smith, Reagan, and Trump. Afterward, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is doing an excellent job. That's why the hate America Democrats relentlessly attack him. They need to get the hell off his back and condemn our enemies instead! Finally, Steve Hilton calls in to discuss his race for Governor of California. He can achieve a political upset next year by adopting Trump's common-sense approach nationwide, focusing on addressing bloated government and high costs driven by the climate insanity. Socialism Comes to New York — Cliff May — May critiques New York City Mayor-elect Momdani's socialist-oriented policies, arguing that aggressive rent freeze mechanisms systematically diminish housing stock availability, reduce construction incentives, and undermine long-term affordability through supply contraction. May warns that additional socialist initiatives including fare-free public transportation and police defunding drive middle-class residents toward suburban and exurban jurisdictions. May cites Venezuelan economic collapse and continuing socialism failure across multiple jurisdictions as empirical evidence that socialist economic models fundamentally cannot function effectively in complex modern capitalist economies like New York City. 1888 five points
