Real conversations over pie and coffee
Lisa Whittle...it's been a minute since this interview, but I know the timing is perfect. Lisa is full of Jesus and puts Him over everything, she is a truth teller, and Gospel bringer. She recently wrote a book, Jesus Over Everything, has an amazing podcast of the same name, and a beautiful community, Called Creatives. y'all just grab your coffee and pull up a chair.
well, it's been a minute. we were doing so good with launching the podcast on time, and then Covid. the interviews had halted, everything was canceled, and we shifted to creating meals and serving our community. it serves us well too. this is an interview that was recorded pre-covid, but I know that it will be perfect for today. I sit with my friend, Jenny Williams. I first saw Jenny and thought, "um, I wanna be friends with her and get to know her. she looks like my kinda people." she has this glow that shines Jesus, and draws you in. she and her hubs, started a non-profit, our daughter's house. a place for girls aging out of the foster care system. a place for them to feel loved, know what that looks like. what that feels like. this is something that is very dear to me. I learned about this over the last few years, and just couldn't fathom kids turning 18 and then turned out on the streets with no place to go. it's everywhere, but it's in our backyard. our backyard is big, and there are many for us to love! even if there is one for us to love, that is big! anyways, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a chair and join our conversation.
I loved sitting down face to face with Whitney! We learned so much about how God had started our paths over 40 years ago, before we were even born, you will have to listen to find out! We chat about how her family has followed God’s calling to move exactly where He wants. Heck she even challenges me because I didn’t ask her hard questions, so grab your coffee and pull up a chair!!

today i sit down with my friend, rachel joy! boy, she is a joy. this is one of my favorite things about social media, meeting and connecting with new people. there’s always a common thread, Jesus and pie. rachel has been quiet and listened to where that ache in her belly was coming from. a refining of what was, to something new. we talk about her new venture, the sparrows collective, how God has provided in ways only God can. I can’t wait for y’all to hear about what God has called her to do!!! Ps due to ever changing days, her event mentioned has been postponed. Be sure to follow along on social media so you know when it is rescheduled!! Grab your cup of coffee and pull up a chair!!

Wendy is also a speaker and writer for Proverbs 31 ministries, and lives in North Carolina with her family!! Y'all go get your coffee, pen, paper, notes, journals, alllll the things and dig in!!

I struggle with celebrating, because I feel like I'm boasting or bragging, BUT that's not it! We need to walk in the things God puts in front of us! We need to celebrate His goodness and favor. Celebrate that it came from Him and ONLY HIM!! You can find out all about Sue on her website, greatbigyes.com! Grab your coffee, pull up a chair and enjoy.
