Isaac shares an “ah ha” moment in his training and announces a new training video series.

Introducing our new “Flip the Switch” segment. James and I will spend a few minutes a couple days a week talking through our training and what we have been doing to hone our crafts as players and coaches.

James and I spent 2+ hours talking to Jason who is a Strength and Conditioning coach in the baseball world. Jason's stories are full of valuable wisdom and information for athletes, coaches, and well...really anyone! From living out of his car to owning his own successful business, Jason's work ethic and desire to improve are evident. 

In this weeks episode we speak with our first non pitcher! Max Burt is an INF in the Yankees organization with a very unique recruiting story. He has grown and learned a ton in his short time as a minor leaguer and he shares that wisdom with us. James and I discuss pitching drills, the Vanderbilt pitching staff, and the enforcement of foreign substances and Trevor Bauer's predicament. In Episode 4, we talk with Tyler Baum. Tyler takes us through the whirlwind of being a high school phenomenon and his choice of education over the draft. James and Isaac discuss new rule changes coming to the MiLB and MLB this year.

Miz is a left handed reliever/closer in the Cleveland Indians organization. He takes us through the lessons he has learned during the recruiting process, and battling through injury. He shares insight on the transition from starter to closer, and describes how he stayed ready and used the "pandemic off year" to his advantage. James and I also discuss the double header monster of Kumar Rocker and Jack Leiter, and also new rule changes being tested out in the minor leagues.

"Berger" shares his knowledge and experiences from 8 years of coaching in the Cape Cod league. He shares insight on the college recruitment process, and sheds light on the importance of mentality on the mound.

This is our first episode! To introduce ourselves, I interview my cohost James Mulry. I pick his brain about his journey as a semi-professional pitcher and the lessons he has learned along the way!
