She has dedicated her life to waging peace as an activist, veteran, sexual assault nurse, neighbor, and mother. https://worldimpact.org/leaders/cedric-nelms –– Pastor Cedric was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.  After attending Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, he moved back to L.A, to make a life for himself but God had other plans.  After moving back home, I began attending church with my parents at Holy Chapel MBC which is under the leadership of Pastor George L. Thomas. This was a place of great growth for him.   While serving at Holy Chapel, Pastor Cedric accepted his calling into the ministry. He also met his lovely wife, Karen and was able to work in various areas of ministry.  While serving there, it became very apparent that God had a greater calling on my life in regards to ministry. Pastor Cedric found his passion in life, doing ministry and preaching the Word of God in a way that people could relate. As some have said of Pastor Cedric, "He has helped me understand how to deal with building a healthy relationship with God". Pastor Cedric has been in ministry for 18 years.
