He discusses his extensive work in Trauma therapy and counseling and Evidence-based approaches to therapy for families and his work with the research teams he has done in his time at UWM working with communities in social services situations.

In this episode of Partners for Health Dr. Dimitri Topitzes interviews Dr. Helen Meier about her life and work as an Epidemiologist and her work in life-course epidemiology including her early days studying human biology, her time at University of Michigan, and her fellowship at the NIH in aging and epidemiology and how all of those things have informed her work and research into the process of life on the cell into how that affects the body's immune system.
