We both pride ourselves on the resilience of being first-generation children of immigrants and being the first in our family to embark on the higher education journey. Welcome to our podcast Resilient Muchachas. We are your hosts Edith and Karina. We are from the Bay Area in California and first generation Mexican American. This podcast is an ode to the complexities of what it means to be a child of immigrants raised in the United States and how our cultures and intersectional identities blend to make us who we are. We are creating this space as a creative outlet to talk about things we like and are passionate about.
