    In today’s episode we sit down with Sharon and Rachel, the duo behind the website “Rate Travel Assignments”.  Both Doctor’s of Physical Therapy, they are two travel therapists who created a valuable tool for all those in the travel field.  We discuss how they first learned about travel therapy, where they are currently working, and how the idea of Rate Travel Assignments was started.  Learn more about how this website will help all travelers, not just physical therapists, but Occupational, Speech, Nursing, and any other health care provider who finds themselves pursuing a travel assignment. The website is focused on user generated content to include rating your travel assignment, connecting with fellow travelers, and taking the guess work out of whether or not an assignment is your ideal match.  If you are a current or future traveler, you should check out this episode, and create an account on Rate Travel Assignments.  Lets make the travel experience better for all of us!

    Tyretel is a friend and classmate who was in our graduating class from PT school. In this episode we discuss her journey from graduating, to working pretty much full time with per diem work. She basically lives the traveler lifestyle without having to travel. Between work as a per diem therapist and the different settings she has found herself working in, has allowed her to explore many different outdoor activities, including international travel for fun. We discuss her unique setting as a therapist working in a chronic pain clinic as well as her hobbies outside of work. Redefining what it means to work full time as a therapist, Tyretel has found time for adventure, travel, and enjoyment outside of your typical 40 hour work week.

    Erin is a physical therapist who is an orthopedic clinical specialist as well as a current clinic director at an outpatient facility in Southern California. Erin is also an avid marathon runner who finds time for daily workouts, managing family life, and a full time career as a physical therapist. She is the definition of an active lifestyle.
