A Podcast. A discussion of life, controversial topics, differing views and true life stories. Intended to trigger an enlightened and informed thought process in your mind’s eye.
You are not special, the rules apply to you. If they aren't trying, then they are just not that into you. Also, can we talk about how ridiculously accessible people are now? It makes everyone a target for poor behavior.
How did we forget how conversations work? If you initiate, then you talk and then I'll follow. It's a pretty simple formula.
Why does everyone love to believe people want to be picked on?
How do you expect to be treated like gold when you're treating her like brass? Do you not understand the concept that women will love they way they are loved? If you feel like she is worthless, then what is the point?
Come take a ride with me and my child while we talk about the world. There is a little road noise from the drive so sorry about that.
I'm stressed and unstable. Listen to me ramble on about why I don't understand your logic, your audacity and where people get off being the way they are. I hope you think this episode is as entertaining as it was to record.
Hey fellas! Can we ask before we send nudes, half nudes, pictures in bed, etc? Not everyone is interested! R E S P E C T. Let's talk about it!
Seriously fellas (and ladies really). Can we get a little effort?
Why is it so gosh dang difficult to just be yourself?
If you use your Zodiac sign as a reason to be a garbage human, we can't be friends.
Why is it so hard to communicate? It's the one thing a relationship truly needs and yet, no one knows how to do it.
Why do we hang on when hanging on only brings us down?
What makes you think people need to keep your shitty secrets?
How does it make sense to hide who you really are from someone until it's too late? Honesty is the best policy. There will always be someone for everyone. Informed consent counts for choosing friends and partners too.
Stop assuming everyone thinks like you.
When does it happen? When do we wake up with body image issues? Are they caused by beauty standards? Are the caused by our bodies changing in way we weren't ready for? Does everyone realize that body image issues are just for girls? Why do some people have issues with their body's appearance and others don't? I have Natalie, Denise and David to give some opinions on the topic. Listen in.
Listen in to hear Tracy Mitrano speak about her candidacy to the U.S. House to represent New York's 23rd Congressional District. Sheron Grijalva, Tamu Reinhardt and myself (Shannon Greenland) ask her the important questions about her campaign, how she plans on representing us and get some insight on how she became involved in politics along with a bit about her life story. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Tracy and we at Sit Down Be Quiet are grateful for this opportunity. We hope this episode will give you some insight into why you should vote for Tracy Mitrano. Thank you to the Tracy Mitrano campaign for helping to arrange this interview.
It's amazing the road blocks people are able to overcome to get where they're going in life. Listen to myself, Shannon Greenland, have a conversation with my guests, Tamu, Sharen and Millie, about their road blocks in life and how they overcame their adversities.
I'm going to tell you my story as it pertains to the current state of racism in hopes that it helps someone. I felt like something needed to be said and this is the only way I know how to say it. I hope it hits home for someone out there so they can be released from their internal struggle. Please listen.
We need to be better communicators. It's a skill not many seem to have anymore despite the many ways we have available to communicate. This is my opinion. Please take the time to listen to one another and stop making assumptions. Hear people. Ask questions. Stop being scared.
Listen in while Heather Eastman and I talk about accountability in the most sincere and sarcastic way, as it's the only way we know how.
A great conversation about relationships with 3 guys who had never met before this episode. The recording quality is not great and for that I apologize, but if you can tough it out while we learn, it's worth the listen. We talk about marriage, divorce, single life, kids, friends, family and figuring out life. Listen in to myself (Shannon Greenland), Joe Spencer, Paul Clemente and Murl Kinal. A huge thank you to everyone for their time! This is such a wonderful experience.
Why have relationships become so convoluted? Join a conversation with myself and the Laced Up Ladies to see what we have to say.
