On this podcast episode, it's with so much honor and excitement that Jeff Hinshaw finally gets to share with you that he is the author of the Lonely Planet Travel Tarot. This project weaves together a deep study of the Tarot with reverence for the beauty of our planet. Each of the 78 cards is paired with a different location in the world. It's been over a year of research, writing and teamwork. The deck is illustrated in collaboration with the brilliant Studio Muti. The Travel Tarot is now officially open for pre-order and will be released in the U.S. on February 17, 2026, which makes this deck an Aquarius Sun with a Pisces Moon (quite fitting for such an expansive deck celebrating humanity). Also, on this podcast episode, Jeff Hinshaw is joined by cosmic sibling Joél Andres Collier of Doll Muscle. Formed in New Orleans in 2017 with composer/producer Bodhi Landa, Doll Muscle creates cathartic dream-pop anthems lush with synths, post-punk grit, and shimmering soundscapes. Their work explores queer love at the boundaries of gender and consciousness, offering listeners a warm, visionary sound that feels both intimate and otherworldly. Together they listen to Five Songs: Here We Are, Wizard, Steeplechase, XO, Allways, and Our Mother. We invite you to bring out your tarot deck and meditate with the cards that came up in our discussion: Judgement, Justice, Queen of Pentacles, Queen of Swords, and the 7 of Cups. We also explore planetary archetypes and Zodiac signs that weave throughout Doll Muscle's songs, including: Chiron, Neptune, Pluto, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius. You may glean insights by revisiting these signs and planets in your own birth chart.

Episode Summary: In Part 2 of our investigation into the Zodiac Killer, we turn our focus to the victims—who they were, what happened to them, and how their stories helped shape one of the most haunting unsolved cases in American history. We take you to Lake Berryessa, where a disturbing attack was carried out in broad daylight, and to the streets of San Francisco, where a cab driver was murdered in cold blood. We explore how police began to connect the dots between these brutal crimes and examine the disturbing letters and ciphers that continued to arrive at newspapers and law enforcement offices. Finally, we begin to sift through the most prominent suspects—some supported by evidence, others by myth—and consider why the Zodiac has never been definitively identified. What do Dazed And Confused, Saving Private Ryan, A Beautiful Mind, Zodiac and the sitcom Friends have in common? Adam Goldberg, who's been a working actor in Hollywood now for over three decades contributing memorable roles (and catch phrases) to some of the most iconic films in cinema history. In this 2 1/2 hour conversation with Jaymee, Adam shares his gratitude as well as some of the pitfalls of working in the industry, everything from the highs of being hand selected by legendary directors like Stephen Speilberg and Richard Linklater, to the lows of developing an anxiety disorder from playing some of his most important roles, and the creative straightjacket of being typecast. He may have even (inadvertently) pissed off Quentin Tarantino somewhere along the way. The premise is almost deceptively simple: two police detectives - a rookie and a veteran - hunt a serial killer around an unnamed city who has been who has apparently been using the seven deadly sins as his motives for each victim, each one also displayed at the murder scene to signify that one particular sin. Of course as directed by three-time Oscar-nominee David Fincher (Fight Club, Zodiac, The Social Network, Gone Girl), it became a highly influential phenomenon.....a grisly horror classic featuring one of the most talked-about gut-punch endings of all time. It also helped that it starred two movie stars at the peak of their powers: Oscar-winner Morgan Freeman as the veteran Detective Somerset and Oscar-winner Brad Pitt as the rookie Detective Mills. Plus Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow as Tracy Mills....AND Oscar-winner Kevin Spacey as John Doe. Now approaching this film's thirtieth anniversary, let's join our two intrepid detectives on the trail to find out........WHAT'S IN THE BOX. :o Host: Geoff GershonEdited By Ella GershonProducer: Marlene GershonSend us a textSupport the showhttps://livingforthecinema.com/Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/Living-for-the-Cinema-Podcast-101167838847578Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/livingforthecinema/Letterboxd:https://letterboxd.com/Living4Cinema/

The lunar nodes are arguably one of modern astrology's most elusive topics. Sometimes called the “nodes of fate,” they've been linked to everything from past lives to future potential. These mathematical points mark where the Sun and Moon's paths cross, creating eclipses. While they're a topic of contention among modern astrologers, historically, the North Node signified "more" and the South Node "less." In Indian astrology, these are personified as Rahu (the insatiable head, crying "More!") and Ketu (the tail, releasing with "Less!"). This dynamic is central to my conversation with astrologer and friend Micki Pellerano of Time Lord TV, where we discuss the roles of the lunar nodes in astrological practice and their evolving interpretations.ABOUT MICKIMicki Pellerano is a Cuban-American artist and occultist whose practices have established a preeminent career in Hellenistic and Vedic astrology. His work combines elements of diverse media, as well as ritual symbolism derived from both Eastern and Western esotericism. His practice known for its predictive accuracy and remedial approach is maintained alongside frequent writings and presentations on art and metaphysical topics. He teaches astrology on several platforms and is host of the program Time Lord TV. Is AI-powered personalized pricing the next frontier—or the next fiasco—for customer loyalty and corporate reputation? That's the burning question I dive into with my guest, Dr. Peter Fader, on this episode of the Delighted Customers podcast. With Delta Air Lines rolling out AI-driven pricing and the world watching closely, the conversation takes a provocative turn: Should the C-suite pursue every possible drop of revenue if it risks alienating the very customers whose business it depends on? Dr. Fader walks us through the razor's edge between innovative revenue optimization and the real dangers of going “too granular” with pricing, shining a light on the long-term risks few companies are thinking about today. Why should you tune in? Dr. Peter Fader is not just an academic—he's a trailblazer whose work bridges the gap between data science, behavioral psychology, and pragmatic business leadership. His pioneering research on customer lifetime value and predictive analytics has redefined how top firms measure, value, and grow their customer bases for sustainable profitability—not just quick wins. If you work in pricing, revenue management, customer experience, or strategy, you need to hear his take on dynamic pricing, the emotional minefields of AI, and how to make decisions that customers—and shareholders—can live with tomorrow, not just today. Here are three key questions Dr. Fader answers in this episode: What's the real difference between smart dynamic pricing and dangerous personalized pricing—and why should every business care? How can companies avoid the temptation of “slicing the bologna too thin” with AI, and what are the hidden long-term costs of over-optimizing for short-term profit? Where are the true opportunities and ethical boundaries in customer-based valuation, and what lessons can firms learn from industries like airlines and pro sports? Listen now and subscribe so you never miss an episode—find us on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, or on any of your favorite podcast platforms. Apple Podcasts Spotify Meet Dr. Peter Fader Dr. Peter Fader is a Professor of Marketing at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, renowned for his transformative contributions to customer analytics, customer lifetime value, and predictive modeling in business. His influential books include “Customer Centricity: Focus on the Right Customers for Strategic Advantage,” “The Customer Centricity Playbook,” and “Customer-Base Audit.” Beyond academia, Peter made waves as co-founder of Zodiac, a predictive analytics firm acquired by Nike in 2018, and continues pushing the boundaries at Theta, a company focused on customer-based corporate valuation for private equity and enterprise clients. Peter's work stands out for blending rigorous quantitative modeling with real-world application, helping executives across industries balance the drive for immediate revenue with strategies that nurture lasting customer relationships and true organizational value. His recognitions include teaching and research awards, and he is frequently sought after for his insights by global brands, sports franchises, and media. This week, Matt and Dave finally get to discuss last week. Craig also has a week to cover. Brad may or may not have been conscious for this one, thanks to exhaustion, beer, and his wife's "job benefits." However, there's plenty here to digest... at least for the 90 minutes they're permitted to work each week, according to HR. -- #comedypodcast #RIcomedy #podernfamily www.needlesstosaypodcast.com www.ntspodcastgear.com

John Carroll Lynch has delivered so many performances, on so many sets, for both the big and small screen, that it is almost ridiculous. Just a few highlights of his hundreds of credits include: “The Drew Carey Show,” “Fargo,” “Zodiac,” “Big Sky,” “American Horror Story,” “The Trial of The Chicago 7”, and his latest, “Sorry Baby”. On this episode, he gives us a deep dive into his approach to the work, and how it has evolved over the years. He explains the benefits of highlighting the text based on lexical categories, how directing his first feature “Lucky” (with Harry Dean Stanton) changed his approach to acting, why he no longer believes his first impressions of a character holds as much significance, the importance of incorporating (and not erasing) everything and everyone on set into the process, and much more. Back To One is the in-depth, no-nonsense, actors-on-acting podcast from Filmmaker Magazine. In each episode, host Peter Rinaldi invites one working actor to do a deep dive into their unique process, psychology, and approach to the craft. Follow Back To One on Instagram
