Some Americans have been disappointed with the gold medal winning USA Men's Hockey team for visiting the White House and attending the State of the Union Address in the wake of their victory. More locally, some Buffalo fans have been disappointed with Sabres forward Tage Thompson, also a member of the USA Men's Hockey team who was photographed wearing a red 'Make America Great Again' hat while in Washington D.C. celebrating the win. What were your thoughts on all this? Also, former Erie County District Attorney John Flynn joins the show to talk the latest developments in the Guthrie case and the case of the Zodiac killer.
In the weeks after Paul Stine's murder, the Bay Area waited for the next strike—but what came next wasn't a confirmed attack. Instead, the Zodiac launched a long, unnerving campaign of letters, ciphers, and threats that kept the region in fear for years. In Episode 7, “The Cipher Years,” we track the communications that defined the next phase of the case: the Dripping Pen card, the infamous Z340 cipher, shifting “scorecards,” and messages that escalated from taunting investigators to threatening mass harm.We also examine major flashpoints from 1969–1970: the letter to celebrity attorney Melvin Belli, the disputed abduction of Kathleen Johns, the “My name is—” cipher, the Mount Diablo map, the “Little List” letter, and the chilling Halloween card sent to journalist Paul Avery. This is the story of how the Zodiac may have paused his confirmed killings—but never stopped trying to control the narrative.00:00 After Stine Fear01:06 Dripping Pen Card01:58 Z340 Cipher Arrives34:43 Building Trust First36:55 Assembling the Review Team37:53 Forensic Rethink and DNA41:23 AI Promise and Pitfalls42:51 Suspects and Linked Crimes44:25 Science in the Field51:31 Why Murders Get Solved54:21 Assumptions and Outliers55:51 Managing Media Tip Floods01:01:36 Ego Games and Wrap UpNext episode: the investigation itself—how multiple agencies coordinated, what evidence they had, and why an arrest never came. The Robert Black Murders mentioned in this episode can be found in season 1 Episodes 3-8You can buy the books mentioned in the podcast's by clicking the links belowTom's Best Selling Book:Ruxton: The First Modern Murder Paperback EditionRuxton: The First Modern Murder Kindle EditionSimon's Best Selling Book:The Ten Percent Paperback EditionThe Ten Percent Kindle EditionOur Website: https://crimetimeinc.com/If you like this show please leave a review. The Metaphysical Hour with Julia Cannon and Tracie Mahan and Question Master Tiffanny Navigating the Saturn-Neptune Conjunction: Frequencies, Self-Sovereignty, and the Language of the Body This episode of The Metaphysical Hour explores the spiritual transition from 3D to 5D frequencies, emphasizing the importance of self-trust and discernment during major astrological shifts. Hosts Julia Cannon and Tracey Mahan discuss how to interpret life's triggers and physical symptoms as guidance for soul evolution. The Saturn-Neptune Conjunction and New Beginnings The discussion opens with a significant energy update regarding the Saturn-Neptune conjunction at zero degrees Aries, occurring on February 20, 2026. This rare event marks the beginning of a new 36-year cycle in the Zodiac, signaling a time for bravery and the initiation of new paths. The hosts highlight that this period requires individuals to embody self-sovereignty and responsibility (Saturn) while leaning into spiritual intuition and soul missions (Neptune). The Frequency Shift: Moving from 3D to 5D A central theme of the conversation is the collective movement into higher frequencies. Julia Cannon shares a vision of this transition as moving through a film or filter; anything that does not resonate with the higher 5D frequency is essentially "squeezed out" of the soul and body. This process often brings old patterns and behaviors directly into one's "face" to be dealt with [163-176]. The hosts explain that if these lessons are ignored, they will continue to reappear—sometimes as a "psychic two-by-four"—until the individual chooses to look at the behavior and release it. Triggers as Mirrors for Growth The hosts emphasize that external triggers, especially those found in the news or social media, are mirrors for internal work. When an individual reacts strongly to an event, it indicates an area of insecurity, doubt, or unworthiness that is ready for healing [229-246]. Staying in a state of love requires asking, "What is this teaching me?" and maintaining discernment rather than blindly following a "bandwagon". SoulSpeak: The Language of the Body The Q&A segment addresses physical symptoms as subconscious messages. For instance, losing one's voice is interpreted as the body's way of forcing a "break" that the individual refused to take consciously [675-678][741-751]. The body often uses illness as an "excusable" reason for rest when the ego continues to push through exhaustion [741-755]. Additionally, the hosts clarify that in QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique) sessions, "knowing" or "feeling" information is just as valid as "seeing" it, as everyone processes spiritual data differently. The current energetic climate is one of profound transition, demanding that individuals shed old "3D" baggage to align with higher frequencies. By treating life's challenges as mirrors and physical symptoms as messages, one can navigate this 36-year cycle with greater ease, self-love, and spiritual clarity.

The Zodiac didn't just kill — he performed. In this episode of A-Z of Psychopaths, we examine the crimes and communications of the Zodiac Killer, whose letters, cyphers, and taunts terrorised Northern California in the late 1960s and continue to fascinate investigators and psychologists today. Rather than focusing on suspect speculation, this episode analyses Zodiac's behaviour through the lens of forensic psychology and criminal profiling. Using the Hare Psychopathy Checklist as a framework—while acknowledging its limitations—we explore whether Zodiac's actions are consistent with psychopathy, narcissism, sadism, or a dangerous blend of traits driven by control and attention. We also look at the role of media amplification, the psychology of anonymous offenders, and how unresolved cases evolve into cultural mythology. This is not a hunt for answers—but an examination of what the evidence actually supports.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/psycho-killer-shocking-true-crime-stories--5005712/support.This episode includes AI-generated content.

Let me just say this now, sis. 2026 is not a “stay the same and hope for magic” kind of year. It's a rebirth, a movement, and alignment or nothing. In this week's episode of Watch Us Thrive, I'm sitting down with Jen aka the Spiritual Baddie, and we're breaking down the real energetic and astrological themes for each sign coming in 2026. No, not the cute, surface-level predictions... we're talking about the deep stuff, the shadow work, and the uncomfortable but necessary growth that's needed for all of us.Growth is available. Opportunity is available. But it requires self-trust and bold honesty with yourself. This year is about choosing yourself. Setting boundaries without guilt & honoring your truth without shrinking. Why? Because you are not broken...you are becoming.2026 is asking you to mature emotionally & to release what no longer aligns. It's asking you to stop abandoning yourself for potential and to build a life that actually feels safe, joyful, and aligned. The choice is up to you, sis! This week, Jen & I are talking about:Why 2026 carries strong rebirth energyThe shift from attachment-based love to emotionally mature loveHow financial growth ties into self-worthWhy shadow work is non-negotiable this yearSetting boundaries without guiltChoosing alignment over familiarityThe power of patience and self-trustCheck out my BRAND NEW WEBSITE!

In Episode 6 of The Zodiac Killer, we return to San Francisco—two weeks after Lake Berryessa—for the case that changed everything: the murder of taxi driver Paul Stine in Presidio Heights on October 11, 1969.This attack was different. Different victim. Different setting. Different risk. Under streetlights, with witnesses watching from across the road, the killer lingered—cutting a piece of Stine's shirt, wiping the cab, and walking away with eerie calm.We break down the full Presidio Heights timeline, what the Robbins witnesses reported, the police response, and the error that may have helped the Zodiac escape: a broadcast description that sent officers looking for the wrong suspect. We also examine the evidence that made this the most significant Zodiac crime scene: bloody latent fingerprints, the composite sketch, the shirt piece mailed to the San Francisco Chronicle, and the Zodiac's chilling escalation—threats against schoolchildren and a school bus. Finally, Simon and Tom dig into the investigative angles: patterns, escalation, and what the “gap” before the Zodiac claimed responsibility might suggest. If you're researching the Zodiac case, this episode is your deep dive into the murder many consider the turning point—and the last confirmed Zodiac killing.00:00 Two Weeks of Silence… Then Zodiac Strikes in San Francisco01:19 Who Was Paul Stine? In this episode I'm joined by astrologer and friend Chris van der Walt to discuss a Vedic astrological technique called the Ages of Maturation. If you're new to astrology, this is a tool you can hit the ground running with. And for advanced practitioners, it will add new layers of depth to your readings. The concept is simple: every planet has a specific year in which it matures. Starting the year before that age, the planet begins to bloom, marking a period where its full expression comes into play. For example, Venus matures at age 25. For someone with a prominent 10th-house Venus, we'd expect that energy to make itself heard in the public sector of their life between the ages of 24 and 25. Think: job promotions, career shifts, or significant changes in reputation.Similarly, once a planet reaches maturation, we can expect full mastery over its themes. This is why we often say Saturn becomes easier after its maturation at age 36.So elegant! So powerful!During our conversation, Chris and I go over each of the planets, their themes, and their year of maturation, sharing stories from our own lives. If you'd like one-on-one guidance exploring these ages, I'm offering a limited number of specially priced readings where we can map out your own planetary story.Book your reading here. Are you in Los Angeles? Chris is my guest for the upcoming Los Angeles Astro Salon at the Philosophical Research Society on Tuesday, February 24th.We'll be exploring these Years of Maturation as well as a few other simple-to-use techniques, then opening up the room for stories.Get your Astro Salon tickets here. Can't make it? When a young man is found in a cornfield, body decomposing in the heat, police are unable to determine cause of death. He's identified as a local man of low IQ and can't read or write. But that didn't stop him from being used as a drug runner. Police find what appears to be a cipher or coded note that has yet to be interpreted. Will solving it lead to his possible killer, or will it be a grocery list? The FBI lists it alongside the Zodiac cipher as the most difficult to solve! Take a crack at it tonight on EE Reloaded!

Host Sue Rose Minahan and guest Jennifer Ng, a Canadian astrologer, are teaming up to unpack the high-energy 2026 Fire Horse Lunar New Year starting on the Solar Eclipse. This year initiates a dynamic marker within the broader celebrations observed by many nations and cultures. We'll look at the brilliant "luni-solar" system—based on the Metonic cycle—where ancient astronomers meticulously tracked the "yellow path" of the ecliptic to harmonize human life with the natural world.Coinciding with a potent Solar Eclipse in Aquarius, this year's transition is a massive catalyst for change. While the Western perspective often focuses solely on the animal sign, the Horse is a generational marker deeply influenced by elemental layers. This shifts the focus from static traits to a complex flow of supportive and transformative power. This lively discussion helps you navigate the year ahead with the bold spirit of the Fire Horse, encouraging us to look toward the skies and utilize ancient wisdom—integrating astronomy, literature, and Qi—to find more than one "exit route" through the complexities of the modern world.Stay Connected and Inspired! How Suffolk Constabulary secured justice decades later — and what this case reveals about sex worker safety, family liaison, evidence-led policing, and whistleblowers. In this episode of Crime Time Inc., Simon and Tom examine Steve Wright — widely known as the “Suffolk Strangler” (also referred to as the “Ipswich Ripper”) — and the cold case breakthrough that linked him to the 1999 abduction and murder of 17-year-old Victoria Hall.We unpack what made Suffolk Constabulary's investigation stand out, how advances in forensic science can reopen “closed” history, and why long-term family liaison support can matter for decades, not days.Simon and Tom also explore the realities of policing vulnerable communities, the risks faced by sex workers working on the street, and how systems and legislation can unintentionally increase danger rather than reduce it.The conversation broadens into “policing politics” — when forces get pulled into high-stakes public controversies — and finishes on a practical, real-world discussion of whistleblowers: how to separate genuine warnings from grievance, and why leadership must follow the evidence either way.Listener note: This episode discusses murder and violence against women.Chapters / Timestamps00:00 Crime Time Inc. intro00:44 A pause from Zodiac: back to the Suffolk Strangler case02:42 Suffolk Constabulary's investigation & long-term family liaison05:18 Broadchurch and what not to do as a family liaison officer07:22 Steve Wright, victims' families, and the 1999 case08:39 Pattern, geography, and “spree” timelines10:32 Could there be other victims? In this episode of Murder: True Crime Stories, Carter Roy revisits the terrifying reign of the Zodiac Killer, whose cryptic letters and brutal attacks paralyzed Northern California in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Taunting police and the media with ciphers, threats, and chilling promises, the Zodiac cultivated fear as deliberately as he committed murder. Despite surviving victims, physical evidence, and thousands of suspects, his identity remains unknown. From lovers' lanes to city streets, this episode explores how the Zodiac built a legacy of terror—and why, decades later, the mystery still refuses to die. Falling down the numerous rabbit holes Fincher provides in his retelling of the unsolved investigation, our hosts work to solve how Zodiac works its addictive magic. Grab an Aqua Velva and unravel the mysteries surrounding this chilling piece of true crime, such as what exactly constitutes a comfort movie, which actor should stay human in a muppet-led version, and where the hell did Jim Emerson go?Next, Josh and Andrew have One More Thing, serving up Cocktails with George and Martha, Phillip Gefter's dishy making-of tome on Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and Sofia Coppola's underrated father-daughter drama Somewhere (also shot by the same DP as Zodiac). Astrological transits like this epic Saturn/Neptune conjunction that make it imperative to get an astrological reading to see how you are personally impacted: www.jilljardineastrology.com Buy Jill's Book and Oracle cards: Sacred Sound Formulas to Awaken the Modern Mind www.jilljardine.com At the Saturn-Neptune conjunction on February 20, 2026 a New world chapter begins. This is a collective reset where images and ideals meet authority and reality. It feels like a threshold moment as it occurs at 0 degrees Aries, a launching point for something new. In the coming months and years we will see a reimagining of institutions as Saturn's structures meet Neptune's dissolving impulse. Old frameworks may crack while new ones are created. There will be deep societal questioning with "what is real versus what is illusion in governance, media, geopolitics and societal narratives." We will see shifts in collective identity. Aries is about self-assertion and beginnings. Some astrologers even look at past Saturn–Neptune conjunctions and see parallels with major transformations in world order, ideology, and cultural identity — making 2026's alignment feel “epochal.” On an inner level, this conjunction can feel like: Dissolution of Old Beliefs Neptune dissolves outdated psychic structures; Saturn asks: What remains when illusion fades? Deep dreams or intuitive realizations may feel more grounded or challenged. You might feel drawn to redefine your inner authority — how you discipline your imagination, spirituality, and life purpose. It will be a time of reckoning and reintegration. Saturn- Neptune cycles historically coincide with societal restructuring, mass ideological shifts, collective myth resets and epoch transitions. Stay tuned until the end of the episode to find out what this Saturn/Neptune conjunction mean for your Zodiac sign... Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Two former senior detectives examine the Zodiac Killer's most disturbing escalation: the Lake Berryessa attack. In broad daylight, the Zodiac abandons the gun, dons a costume, and turns murder into performance. We unpack what this shift reveals about planning, psychology, investigative blind spots in 1969, and why—despite unprecedented evidence—the killer still walked away.We also explore cryptography, Air Force links, witness behaviour, and the uncomfortable reality that the Zodiac wounded more victims than he killed. What we cover (chapter guide)00:00 — Cold open: Episode context; why Lake Berryessa marks a turning point01:10 — The silence before the storm: August 1969 and the lull after the cipher05:30 — Setting the scene: Pacific Union College, Bryan Hartnell, Cecelia Shepard10:15 — Lake Berryessa: daylight, isolation, and opportunity14:40 — Witnesses before the attack: watching, waiting, selecting18:10 — The costume appears: hood, symbol, and psychological theatre22:30 — Control and deception: the escaped-convict story and premeditation26:50 — Knife vs. gun: why this choice matters more than it seems32:20 — The attack: sequence, survival, and what Hartnell could tell police38:10 — Aftermath: the car door message and the call to Napa Sheriff's Office42:45 — Evidence rarely seen in Zodiac cases: shoe prints, palm print, handwriting47:30 — The Air Force connection: wing-walker boots and cryptography skills53:10 — What 1969 police didn't have: DNA, databases, behavioural profiling59:40 — Performance vs. panic: what the shaking hands reveal1:04:30 — Victim focus: remembering Cecelia Shepard1:09:20 — Why this case still matters: escalation, audience, and unfinished justice(Timings may vary slightly by platform.)Key takeaways“This wasn't impulsive.” The costume, bindings, and knife show planning and rehearsal.“Daylight changes everything.” Witness quality improves—but so does offender confidence.“The Zodiac wasn't trained to kill.” He wounded more victims than he killed, even at close range.“Evidence isn't the same as answers.” Lake Berryessa produced more physical clues than any prior attack—yet still no suspect.“This was theatre.” The Zodiac needed to be seen, remembered, and talked about.Helpful contextThe Lake Berryessa attack (27 September 1969) is the only confirmed Zodiac assault with surviving victims and a full eyewitness account. It is also the only Zodiac crime involving a costume and a knife, making it critical for behavioural analysis.Listener noteThis episode contains discussion of violent assault and homicide. Episode 107 features a conversation with Kooch Daniels, co creator of The Zodiac Light Oracle, a deck rooted in the Vedic nakshatras, Sun signs, and planetary archetypes. We explore what the nakshatras are and how they differ from Western astrology, how Kooch reads charts, and how astrology can be used as a language of cycles, tendencies, and conscious choice rather than fixed prediction. We talk about intuition and psychic perception, common blocks to trusting inner guidance, and how to tell the difference between imagination and genuine insight. Kooch also shares about creating The Zodiac Light Oracle, how accessible it is for beginners, her studies with Harish Johari, and how the cards can be used as a tool for connecting with dharma and understanding one's life path more deeply.
Step into a conversation that reimagines everything you thought you knew about astrology. In this episode of The Mystical Underground, Rob and Trish MacGregor talk with British author and “real‑life Indiana Jones” Graham Phillips about his new book, *The Original Zodiac: What Ancient Astrology Reveals About You*—a reconstruction of an 18‑sign zodiac that predates the familiar 12‑sign system by thousands of years. Phillips explains how clues from ancient Mesopotamia and the carved animals of Göbekli Tepe led him to this lost zodiac, why its animal signs—like the Spider, Swan, Vulture, Mouflon, and Lioness—may describe personality traits with surprising accuracy, and how he used a blend of historical research and modern AI to test the patterns he found. The discussion ranges from personal readings for the hosts based on their “original” signs to Phillips's wider adventures tracking down relics behind the legends of the Holy Grail, King Arthur, Merlin's possible voyage to North America, and the hidden purpose of Stonehenge as a prehistoric observatory and healing center. If you're fascinated by ancient mysteries, synchronicity, or new ways to look at your own birth chart, this episode offers a rich mix of speculative history, investigative storytelling, and cosmic what‑ifs. https://www.grahamphillips.net/

Welcome to The Rizzuto Show — the funny podcast that proves trivia is less about knowing answers and more about how loudly you can defend the wrong ones.On this episode, the crew dives headfirst into another round of trivia Matchup, a game designed to test knowledge, memory, logic, and emotional stability… and somehow only one of those things shows up. Moon, Learn, Rafe, and King Scott take turns absolutely torching their own credibility while attempting to answer questions that sound easy until your brain fully abandons you under pressure. We kick things off with Moon vs. Learn, a showdown that immediately spirals thanks to Barbie lore, calories, immortal honey, and the eternal question: what actually is a group of flamingos called? (Spoiler: nobody feels confident, but Moon feels confident anyway.) Marco Polo's nationality becomes a full vibe-based argument, Friends episode counts get wildly inflated, and logic is applied in ways science has specifically asked us not to.Then it's Rafe vs. King Scott, and this is where things truly get unhinged. Zodiac signs become public enemies, water signs are debated like conspiracy theories, and Rumpelstiltskin's straw-to-gold origin story is somehow made harder than it's been for centuries. Insulin, Yellowstone Lake, Johnny Carson, and the circumference of the Earth all take collateral damage as the crew confidently locks in answers that history itself disagrees with. What makes this episode special isn't who wins — it's how everyone loses just a little bit. The trash talk is elite, the confidence is unearned, and the logic is aggressively creative. This is The Rizzuto Show in peak form: loud, sarcastic, self-aware, and completely unbothered by being wrong as long as it's entertaining. If you love daily chaos, dumb confidence, and the sound of your own brain yelling “HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW THIS?” at your speakers, this funny podcast is exactly what you signed up forFollow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshowConnect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShowHear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MOSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
