For those of us entering our last year of law school, it is important that we enter the legal profession with some capacity to adapt and innovate. With the impact of COVID-19, that has never been more important. Luckily for us at OU Law, Professor Kenton Brice offers a class on Technology in Law Practice for just that reason. One of our assignments was to automate documents using Woodpecker and Documate. This episode contains my "firm's" raw thoughts on the process and these platforms. Big thanks to Amanda Finch, Allyson Shumaker, and Elizabet Teagan for sharing their thoughts with our podcast! From automation, e-filing, cybersecurity, practice management software, and cloud storage, it can be difficult to ensure that law schools are training students on the tools that they will use in practice. At The University of Oklahoma College of Law, the Digital Initiative aims to do just that. By giving each student an iPad, providing onsite training, and building innovative spaces for students to study and collaborate, OU Law gives its students a unique advantage when they join the legal profession. Please rate and review us wherever you are listening, and follow us on Twitter at @OuTalis for new episodes and additional updates.
