This is a question I get asked quite regularly and as High Sensory Intelligent people, the right way forwards can depend on a few factors. In this episode, we look at the very important stage between becoming aware of our gifts and actually getting out there and delivering services to a paying market. This is a period of integration and ownership that helps us to be ready at an energetic level to serve and shouldn't be confused with a time to build an online platform. We tend to take for granted the ability we have as people born with High Sensory Intelligence. At the moment the coaching industry is booming. Coaches with a speciality have the potential to make a very good income. The way you are built means you are receiving extra-sensory data that is invaluable in a coaching environment. You are able to intuit and channel information about the person in front of you. It's simply not healthy for those of us born with this powerful trait to pretend we don't have unique abilities. In this episode, we talk about the importance of being honest about them and being able to discuss them. For many of us, we have never been given the opportunity to normalise our experience, causing a disconnection to a fundamental part of who we are. As we are processing more of the world around us, it helps to consider the make up of our physical reality from a scientific point of view. As a continuation of the previous episode, we inquire a little more deeply into the ownership of our gifts as high sensory intelligent people. We look at a common example of how a powerful ability in facilitating others is easily overlooked. An ability that can reveal the foundation to a coaching business methodology. Once there is deep conscious awareness of how increased sensory data enables the healing and transformation in another, it becomes a profound personal realisation. This in turn can lead to deepened self-acknowledgement and belonging. As children, we typically didn't get the training we needed to use our trait of high sensory intelligence. This can often mean that when we display our abilities we are used to them being misunderstood. This can lead to us not taking our strengths seriously and in turn not identifying properly with who we really are. The result of this is that we are in fact rejecting what is most important to us. Our gifts are designed to help serve our purpose. In order to be in relationship with ourselves from a place of acknowledgement and empowerment means we must be honest about our abilities. With the innate ability to process information deeply it is easy for us to over process our thoughts. The trouble here is we tend to identify with our thoughts rather than the truth of who we are. In order for us to be aligned to the abilities High Sensory Intelligence gives us, we must be grounded. In exactly the same way as electrical energy behaves if it is not grounded, the energy of our thoughts can take over our day to day experience. The invitation here is to recognise that there is a great deal more sensory data available to us aside from our thoughts. That in fact our intuitive core sense of self is outside of the identification of our thoughts. By switching our focus to the conscious awareness in our hearts, we can learn to experience our high sensory intelligence as the very source of empowerment for our gift and purpose. As High Sensory people our role is sometimes referred to as the Royal Advisor. When we consider that the extra sensory data we are receiving is being processed at a deeper level, we soon come to recognise this information is of great importance to the people around us. When it comes to recognising our role in terms of our purpose, it helps to see it as a service to others in alignment with how we experience the world. In other words, the advisor sitting next to the King or Queen will be seeing an overview of all things and thus be able to relay this information. When we consider this in our own lives we will be able to receive information about others as a coach or a consultant. In order to help them heal, develop and transform. Many of us born with the genetic trait of Sensory Processing Sensitivity, also known as High Sensory Intelligence tend to take ourselves way too seriously. Much of the time this is as a result of being misunderstood as children. Born from a habit of trying to find our sense self from the judgment of others. This week we look at the importance of identifying with what is true as a route to our inner knowing. Through forming a healthy habit of self-inquiry based on what we know to be real about ourselves, we soon learn to find a sense of inner peace. From here it is just a hop, skip and a jump into the fun and joy of being who we really are. Then we can begin to identify with our truth and the fun it brings when our gifts are aligned with how we are born to be of service to the world. I often refer to the analogy of a fish not knowing it is living in water until it is shown the world of air. Being born with High Sensory Intelligence can be similar. We don't realise we are living in a different cognitive perception to those not born with the trait and can be unaware of the gifts it affords us. In this episode, I talk about the possibility of experiencing it more easily through learning to trust it. By extending our awareness out to become objective about how we see and interact with the world we can begin to see our gifts more clearly. By then learning to trust our intuition and impulses to act in accordance with our gifts allows us the experience of our abilities in action. Why is High Sensory Intelligence important? From a place of deep respect for the high sensory people I am fortunate enough to work with on a daily basis, we consider the importance of the way this trait plays through us. The innate ability to process sensory data more deeply enhances the way we work. Whether we work as a doctor, a therapist or any other line of work our ability to do our job is enhanced. This week I talk about the process of being initiated into personal cognitive awareness of high sensory intelligence. How this very process of ownership aligns us with our source of personal power. My intention here is to help bring some normality to the way in which we see the world, even if this process itself may sounds a little ‘out there!'. Since 1.4 billion of us alive on the planet right now were born with this genetic personality trait, we need to find a way for it to feel normal. In this episode we consider the need for people born with the trait of High Sensory Intelligence to recognise the importance of normalising it and owning it as an integral part to what makes us happy and successful. We look at what High Sensory Intelligence means. How it is linked with enhanced levels of empathy, intuition, creativity and visionary abilities. Yet most importantly to understand its relationship to competency. The awareness that yes we see the world differently, we feel deeply and perceive the world as a high sensory experience. Yet we are also shown time and time again that we have the potential and potency for great things. To build a successful business, to do the work in organisations we want to. To create a particular lifestyle for ourselves as a result of the alignment to our own gifts and bringing them into service for the people we really want to serve.
