When we go out to the cold, we layer. I love layers. I put on thermals, hoodies, coats, jackets, hats and gloves. I love layers in seven layer dip and I love layers in lasagna. Sometimes, layers aren't helpful. Sometimes, we layer emotions, only to amplify the emotions and make them worse. We get frustrated over being frustrated. Mad about being mad. Irritated about being irritated. In these scenarios, layering isn't helpful. In today's podcast, we talk about our emotional layers and how to stop layering. We talk about being aware, watching ourselves and paying attention to when we do this. We talk about offering self-compassion, which is so hard to do sometimes. And we talk about getting to the truth. Today's podcast will help you recognize when you may be layering your emotional experience and how to stop! Listen In! Three Tips for HACKING UNCERTAINTY in Turbulent Times: Find the right people who understand the "controllables." Find people who are trailblazers Find people who help others: Chris Krimitsos is someone who kicks butt even in Turbulent Times: He has an amazing capacity for change which is one of three great truths that Price Pritchett shares in his book Quantum Leap Strategies. Chris exudes the true Renaissance man in that he leads others to successful paths, leadership and other life skills simply by extending a helping hand. He is well known for his amazing explosion into the Podcasting world creating PODFEST (TM) EXPO the annual Orlando, FL, conference. Furthermore, he has now taken it internationally to Asia in 2024 and beyond. https://podfestexpo.com I have been a speaker and a volunteer for Podfest beginning virtually in 2020 continuing to 2025. Conferences can be overwhelming. Yet I feel Chris has surrounded himself with talented people who carry his visions for an awe-inspiring event for creators, exhibitors and attendees. This year, Chris asked the PODFEST EXPO attendees to design the conference's T-shirts. ( I told him that I wanted to create one with stick figures.) He responded: " DO IT" And that's the kind of person he is.. ( I didnt do it..but maybe next year.) Chris exemplifies Price Pritchett's other concept of YOU2 (You squared) in that he chooses to take the road less travelled. He is not afraid of failure, or missteps when taking the path of uncertainty. His belief in the concept that one's desires are actually easier to achieve with different thinking rather than trying harder and getting the same old results. The ABILITY TO HACK UNCERTAINTY leads to that road where dreams become reality. This choice of “ it can be easy” is due to his ability to be relentless in pursuit of a dream. Chris is someone who is always open to and takes Quantum Leaps. Price Pritchett teaches us that a quantum leap is a move that is ours for the taking. Right now. It's a giant step you can make merely by deciding to do it, which opens you up to resources. Taking PODFEST to ASIA was absolutely a QUANTUM LEAP. REMEMBER… we all need a sense of direction, to be focused on our end result. Chris Krimitsos is very much blazing that trail. His success is being in the present. Oh and there is his PODTOUR around the United States and Canada.. to be continued next podcast... How often have you wondered why you aren't getting over the infidelity or worried that you are “taking too long” to feel better? You are not alone if you have; contrary to what you might think, you are exactly where you are supposed to be! The Four Reasons Why You Aren't Over the Infidelity Yet: You don't have a new narrative that makes sense of it all: Humans are meaning-making machines. Until we make sense of what happened and create a narrative that makes sense, we will stay stuck in the trauma and drama of the situation. Worse, we live in a society that doesn't talk about infidelities, and the narratives that are out there don't usually fit our situation, leaving us feeling lost and confused. You haven't decided what you want yet: Making decisions is scary! Whether it's fear of judgment, fear of failure, or fear of success, making decisions requires us to publicly put our stake in the ground and claim what we want for all to see. It makes us vulnerable. It exposes us to others. But unless we decide what we want, we keep ourselves in a state of indecision where we can't heal, we can't move on, and we can't get over it. Ironically, this sometimes feels safer than making a decision and moving on. You are unwilling to let it go: What if you let it go? What happens then? Does it mean the marriage didn't mean as much as you wanted it to? Does it mean you made a mistake? Does it mean you have to grow up/shift/change in a way that you aren't quite ready to do? Does it mean you have to take responsibility for something you're not ready to own or to see? Maybe you don't want to let HIM off the hook and move on “too quickly” because you don't want to make things too “easy” for him, and you'd rather punish him by showing him how miserable you are. Greif takes time. Rebuilding yourself, you life, your identity, and grieving the loss of who you thought your partner was, takes time. We all grieve on our own schedules. New grief has a tendency to open old wounds that perhaps, weren't completely healed. Infidelity raises mother wounds, father wounds, abandonment wounds, safety wounds, fears of being alone, or too old or too ugly, wounds of not being enough, wounds of insecurity, self-worth, you name it. You aren't over it, because you aren't over it, because there is a lot to move through and process. Give yourself grace and space and time. How to Come to Terms with What Happened: Plan your work and work your plan: Recovery doesn't just happen. Time heals a lot, but it won't heal this. Infidelity is too big and impacts you on too many levels. Make a list of the things you need help with, whether it's legal, financial, educational, or spiritual. What are the steps you need to do to make progress in each of those areas? Using the 4 areas above, what are the steps you need to do to get through each area? Where do you need support? Who can you ask for help? What else do you need? Own your strengths and focus on you: You are the only person you can control. When you stop focusing on others, stop wishing things were different, and start owning and using your strengths, you feel stronger and “get better” fast! Remember to FLAUNT! Facing any kind of trauma or upset causes us to shrink to protect ourselves. That's fine for the short-run, but don't let this new, compressed state become your new normal. Real Estate Investing With Jay Conner, The Private Money Authority
*** Guest AppearanceCredits to:https://www.youtube.com/@gatheringthekings "Private Money Tips in 2024: Secret Framework"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLUARp0bf6Q In a recent episode of the Raising Private Money podcast, Chaz Wolfe and Jay Conner delve into the world of private lending, offering invaluable advice for real estate entrepreneurs on how to navigate financing without traditional banks. This conversation highlights essential principles, from developing the right mindset to leveraging networks such as Business Networking International (BNI), which can transform the way you approach your real estate ventures. Here's a comprehensive look at the key insights from this enlightening episode. The Formula for Success: E + R = OJay Conner introduces a powerful concept that challenges conventional thinking: E + R = O (event + response = outcome). This principle dictates that while events in our lives are often outside our control, our responses to those events are key to shaping our outcomes. Jay recounts a personal story where his funding line was abruptly cut off by the bank during the 2009 financial crisis. Instead of succumbing to despair, he chose to seek alternative funding solutions. This proactive response led him to discover private money and self-directed IRAs, which played a pivotal role in his continued success in real estate.Mastering the Mindset of Abundance and ServiceOne of the major takeaways from the episode is the importance of adopting an abundance mindset and focusing on service. Chaz Wolfe applauds Jay Conner's emphasis on these aspects, noting how they can transform the approach to private lending and real estate. Jay underscores that having an abundance mindset—believing there's plenty of money for good deals—can significantly impact how one interacts with potential lenders. He stresses serving others, reassuring lenders about the safety and high returns on their investments. Unpacking the Three Tips for Private Money SuccessJay Conner outlines three fundamental tips for utilizing private money effectively:1. Serve and Secure the Right Mindset: Approach private money with a mindset of service, not desperation. Educate lenders about the benefits and security of their investment without pitching specific deals upfront.2. Establish Control and Make Your Own Rules: Unlike traditional mortgage applications with stringent requirements, private lending allows you to set the terms and create win-win scenarios.3. Recognize the Benefits of Private Money: Understand that private money offers limitless availability, no credit checks, quick closings, and fewer fees compared to hard money options.Leveraging Networks for Private LendingNetworking is a crucial element in private lending. Jay Conner highlights the role of Business Networking International (BNI) and self-directed IRA companies in expanding one's network of potential lenders. By engaging in these networks, real estate entrepreneurs can present their investment opportunities to individuals already familiar with and confident in the program.Chaz Wolfe reinforces this idea, noting how BNI's structured framework facilitates meaningful connections which can lead to securing private funds. The Art of Making a Good OfferJay Conner also discusses the importance of making a compelling offer to mitigate risks and close deals quickly. He introduces a formula for determining the maximum allowable offer, which ensures offers are both attractive to sellers and secure for investors. He emphasizes the urgency in real estate deals, suggesting that “time kills deals.” Therefore, presenting a strong

Hello! Welcome to the And She Rises — The Eff Up — the podcast. We are back with a super fun episode. These three clips were taken from one of my favorite courses, Turning Sh*t into Gold. This is my course on how to transmute, transform, and turn around the dynamics and patterns in any relationship or type of relationship where we have become perpetually stuck. We calling in and growing love. We are alchemizing painful and unhelpful dynamics. We are identifying patterns. We are reworking and rearranging it all. TSIG is open for enrollment + on sale now! Details + client feedback + enrollment options: https://amandafrances.com/turning-sht-into-gold/ Without further ado: Mastering the Art of Transfiguration: Three Tips to Turn Sh*t into Gold in Life, Love and Business 1. Trust your desires… you're right all along. When you're in the thick of it, it can be hard to believe that what you know is coming is *actually* coming. Trust your desires. Your heart is right. Sometimes we just need time to prepare to receive the things we want. 2. You can transform… anything. We can get stuck in feeling like that *one* area of our lives will never work for us. What has been true for me is this: Often the areas in life that “just aren't working” for me are the areas I haven't taken full responsibility for. I haven't decided it gets to work for me. Remember: You can turn anything around. You can feel the feelings of being on the other side by continually and consistently asking for support in doing so. Ask for guidance, and your next steps will become clear. 3. You are your ultimate source. Know this: In every area of life, you are your ultimate source. When you're taking care of yourself, everything that comes from someone else is just overflow. Ask yourself: Where are you forgetting to love and show up for yourself? Where are you forgetting to set standards for yourself? It's all mirroring and reflecting you. We have to cultivate in ourselves what we want to be reflected back to us. Okay, my loves! I cannot wait to see you in TSIG. Let the enrollment page answer all your Qs, and if you need us please reach out: support@amandafrances.com or DM me. :) All the love, Amanda + Team AF.
