Before February is over, Laura and I thought we'd squeeze another family focused show into the mix. The two people you see above are Darren (PD) and Mandy Hileman. The Hileman's have given their life to serve Jesus through vocational ministry. I (Mary) know these two from a discipleship school I attended after high school, which also happens to be the place I work now (shoutout to @therealscsl). Though a huge part of PD and Mandy's story is full time ministry I asked them to talk about marriage and family instead. The reason being, PD and Mandy have consistently chosen their family first, above ministry. The identity that these two walk in as children of God allows them to put their priorities in order (God, family, ministry). It is because of the faithfulness of the Hileman's that I know ministry apart from corruption. The Hileman's share on today's episode how to put family first and to love God above all else. Tune in for an exciting and enriching show!

Growing up Laura and I always looked forward to Sunday's. Sunday was “church day” followed by the most memorable family days. Swimming in the creek, walking through the woods with daddy, cooking with mama, or playing house with each other - Sunday's were the best days! Sunday's remind me of childhood and light hearted memories. Therefore, Laura and I thought we might share a bit of the light hearted laughs we have found from the special kids in our life. Israel (Izzy) is Laura's oldest son and my nephew. Izzy is always working hard to get a laugh out of his mama and daddy - however, he doesn't have to work too hard til they are cackling. Izzy has taken notes as his mommy works on her podcast and he decided he wanted to have a podcast too. As a special treat to celebrate family days and kids, Laura and I decided to release Izzy's episode. Our hope is that you laugh at the cuteness of little boys and the gross words they enjoy.

Louis and Anna Kate Gruendler are some of our favorite people in the world. God will sometimes give you people, not because you deserve them, but because you need them. We look at Louis and Anna Kate as people that God gave to us because our souls need their pure heart, honest work and sincere love. In the same way, we offer a smidge of the gift that we have in them to you today. Our prayer is that after hearing Louis and Anna Kate's story, you will be filled with courage to fight for the ones you love. We also hope that you will search your hearts to align your motives with what success is for the soul, not just the bank account. May success become contentment and hard work become fruitful.
