Whoever you are, wherever you are, I hope you find a home and a place in this glorious conversation here at Reflecting Light. Welcome home. "Perhaps the secret of living well is not having all the answer, but in pursuing unanswerable questions in good company." For more information, please visit: https://www.forbiddenadventure.com/unlocking-england "Then, after the consecration of the Holy Sacrifice of God, because He wished us also to be His sacrifice, a fact which was made clear when the Holy Sacrifice was first instituted, and because that Sacrifice is a sign of what we are, behold, when the Sacrifice is finished, we say the Lord's Prayer which you have received and recited. After this, the 'Peace be with you' is said, and the Christians embrace one another with the holy kiss. This is a sign of peace; as the lips indicate, let peace be made in your conscience, that is, when your lips draw near to those of your brother, do not let your heart withdraw from his. Hence, these are great and powerful sacraments." Trust becomes our most powerful weapon in a world constantly whispering doubts about God's goodness. Sylvia Gunter's raw testimony of caring for her absent father during his final days reveals the complicated intersection of duty, disappointment, and divine purpose."It doesn't feel like love, but I choose to trust." These words capture the essence of faith when circumstances feel anything but good. Since the Garden of Eden, the enemy's oldest tactic has been questioning God's trustworthiness—a lie that echoes through our pain, waiting, and suffering. But what happens when we deliberately choose trust as our response? This episode concludes with the powerful Shield of Trust Prayer, offering declarations that build a fortress of faith when circumstances feel overwhelming. If you're navigating disappointment, betrayal, or unanswered prayers, this conversation offers both compassionate understanding and practical wisdom for choosing trust as your weapon against doubt.

Travel advisors are often encouraged to seek out the more stable, and more lucrative, luxury market. But one question you might not have asked yourself is: What if you can’t speak the language? There’s definitely a right way to communicate with luxury-market clientele, both obvious and subtle. On this episode host Rebecca Tobin and senior editor Jamie Beisiada talk with travel experts from Embark Beyond: CEO Jack Ezon and advisor Laura Worth, who have identified this challenge – and created a series of training modules to help advisors follow the Billionaire’s Calendar; converse beyond travel in art, fashion and yachts; how to read luxury-brand tea leaves; and ways advisors can “fake it till they make it.” Episode sponsor This episode is sponsored by Travel Insured International https://www.travelinsured.com Summer series: This episode is part of our annual Summer Series, where we feature some of our favorite recent Folo by Travel Weekly discussions.
