On this week's episode of Kliq This, Kevin Nash sits down with Sean Oliver to recap what might be Kevin's most grueling milestone yet—his 38th surgery. Kevin breaks down the details of the procedure, the challenges of post-op recovery, and what it means to bounce back at age 65. In between rounds of surgical talk, the guys riff on a range of topics including health supplements like bovine colostrum, the reality of pain management, and why getting older makes you eye anesthesia a whole lot differently. Kevin and Sean also dive into the lighter side of things—from the nostalgia of old WWF charity softball games to the evolution of sending out holiday cards (and how the “paper Christmas card” might be on the way out). Along the way, they laugh about old-school Detroit desserts, the art of manscaping before surgery, and the mystery of black curtains in AEW arenas. This is vintage Kevin Nash: honest, unfiltered, and surprisingly funny while recovering from a tough surgery. Whether you're tuning in for wrestling stories, candid life updates, or just to hang with the guys, this episode proves that Big Sexy's still got plenty left in the tank—even at surgery #38. In this episode of Kliq This, titled "Kliq Documentary?," Kevin Nash and Sean Oliver dive into various personal stories, current events, and reflections on their lives. They begin with light banter about linguistic quirks and TV shows, sharing laughs over mispronunciations and discussing their recent watch of Homeland. Nash recounts his recent trip to Detroit, detailing his experiences with the cold weather, family gatherings, and his musings about potentially buying a second home there. The conversation takes a nostalgic turn as they reminisce about the changes in Detroit's infrastructure and its consistent ranking as a violent city. The episode delves into heavier topics as Nash talks about his son Tristan's birthday and the emotional journey he and his wife have gone through since his passing. This heartfelt segment reveals the depth of Nash's grief and his attempts to find silver linings in the tragic experience. Sean shares a harrowing story about stopping to help a woman having an overdose, highlighting the challenges of being a good Samaritan in today's society. This leads to a discussion on societal norms and the responsibilities of being vigilant and ready to help others. The hosts also explore various anecdotes from their travels and encounters with fans and colleagues. They discuss the dynamics of wrestling politics, the evolution of the industry, and their personal interactions with other wrestlers and promoters. In a lighter segment, they introduce a new video series concept called "Four Ball Films," where they rate daring individuals on their bravery, and "Florida Man or Jersey Guy," where they humorously guess the origins of bizarre news headlines. Throughout the episode, Nash and Oliver maintain their trademark blend of humor, insight, and candidness, offering listeners a mix of entertainment, reflection, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into their lives and the world of professional wrestling. In this episode of Standing Post, we're joined by Special Agent Robert Waltman, who discusses one of our lesser known programs: Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS). This initiative focuses on countering the emerging threat that drones, with their small size and high speed, pose to our protectees. As an expert in the technology--Waltman started using drones when they were known as multi-rotors and required pilots to build them from parts off the shelf--he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience about this issue, and tells us a little about his non-traditional path to becoming a Secret Service Special Agent. If you have an interest in drone technology in an exciting and challenging environment, consider a career in the Secret Service. We're expanding our Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems program to include special agents, officers and technical professionals that are familiar with drones and want to have an impact in the world. You can start your Secret Service journey at secretservice.gov or usajobs.gov. Our parents play a key role in our understanding of who God is and how we can relate to Him. Fathers, in particular, play a key role because we refer to God as our Father so the model and example that they set for us really gives us a foundation for we think God feels and thinks about us. On today's episode, Dr. Josh Waltman and I discuss how becoming fathers has given us a greater understanding of God's love and grace for us. Since both of us grew up in strong, conservative Baptist backgrounds, we share how that gave us a strong desire to stand up for the truth of God's Word, but that it also may have blinded us from being able to see God's grace and love towards us and all humanity. We mainly discussing the following topics: - What have we learned about God since becoming fathers? - What was it like to group in a Southern Baptist churches? - We share experiences of how God has shown his grace and love in our own lives- How we can show grace and love to our children while also helping them orient that grace and love with truth- Lastly, we share the importance of understanding the Gospel to have a complete understanding of God's truth, love and grace.
