When supporting a friend, validating their feelings and emotions are extremely important. We want your friends to feel seen, heard, and supported. A lot ask or wonder how my sister passed away. After six years I am finally able to grieve. About the lose of my ten-year-old sister. She was so energetic, athletic, and talented. I miss her dearly, every single day. Keep going, it gets better. My sister would be extremely proud of me so I keep going forward for her. I didn't have a plan nor script to talk on this episode, it's completely opened. True thoughts, feelings, emotions, and personal. On our busy weeks, days, months, it's still IMPORTANT to get self-care in your day to day life. Do not cancel your therapy appointments because you "think" you didn't have "time", because you do have time. Put yourself first so you can give others the real you. I understand it's hard because we get so caught up in our lives but know that YOU HAVE TIME! You make time for other things so make time for yourself that's going to help you grow as a person. A lot of people asked for an Introduction and honestly, I am too excited to get things going with my podcast so here it is. This recording is just an introduction of things I will be talking about and having one on one conversations with people. In Podcast I will be discussing my story, mental health, suicide, some of the basic psychological disorders (depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and etc.), trauma, and MORE!
