Sunset Station is nestled in the heart of downtown. Amtrak inherited the station from the Southern Pacific Railway after the sort-of-not-really nationalization of the railroads, and did away with a gorgeous stain glass window on the front of the station that has since been since recreated. They couldn't pay the bills on the station though, so it became the event center we know and love today. But what did Amtrak do with that original stain glass window? Eat it? Maybe.
