Listeners of Tuesday Toolbox ACA that love the show mention:The Tuesday Toolbox ACA podcast has been an incredibly valuable resource for me in my journey of healing from growing up in a dysfunctional alcoholic home. Each episode feels like a meeting in between meetings, providing insight and support that I often need throughout the day. It has truly touched my heart and opened me up to being honest with myself about my experiences and the effects they have had on me. The speakers featured on this podcast are brave and vulnerable, sharing their stories and wisdom to help others heal.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is its format. Each share is only 15 minutes long, allowing for focused and impactful messages that stay on track. The shares are grounded in specific parts of the Big Red Book, which helps deepen my understanding of its contents. Additionally, the choice of piano music framing each episode adds a beautiful touch, especially for someone like me who appreciates music.
However, one aspect that could be improved upon is the sound quality. Many reviews mention hearing mouse clicks and keyboard typing throughout the entire meeting, which can be distracting. This suggestion for improvement has been listed throughout multiple reviews, so it would be great if it could be addressed by muting the host once the meeting starts or finding a tech-savvy volunteer to improve sound quality.
In conclusion, I am incredibly grateful to have found this podcast. It was my first exposure to ACA and played a significant role in helping me open up about my history of trauma. The speakers are fantastic; their honesty and wisdom provide immense value to listeners like myself. While there may be some minor improvements that could enhance the overall experience, I would rather have this imperfect podcast than none at all. Thank you to all those involved in creating this valuable tool for ACA recovery!
