  Salvador Perez is an all timer and one of my very favorite athletes to ever cover.  He seemingly never has a bad day.  On Wednesday he banged a record homer into the fountains in right center but seemed more worried about the man that jumped in to get the ball being arrested than he did about the record.  That's Salvy.  Today... we explain why he should be a lock for the Hall of Fame.    The Chiefs released renderings and information on their new stadium and it looks spectacular.  It will "sound" even better.  The Chiefs are building a stadium way louder than Arrowhead and it may just be the loudest stadium in the world.    Election fraud is now center stage as democrats can never, ever say again that illegal aliens don't vote.  The House passes a proposal to ad military funding to the budget that includes a soft voter ID initiative.  It's not great, but it could be a little something to help against the fraud.    Singer Ella Langley smashes records with her crazy great hit song "Choosin' Texas" and a comic sums up our lettuce problem in a hilarious way.  Our Final Final is a wild new beer they are selling at the Minnesota State Fair.

I lay out the kinds of evidence a courtroom actually accepts, from physical and documentary to testimonial and digital, and I ask whether the case would hold up in front of a jury. It is not about pretending you are not angry, hurt, resentful, or grieving. Leon Black has tried to portray his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein as primarily professional, limited to sophisticated tax and estate-planning work, while insisting that he knew nothing about Epstein's criminal activities and eventually realized Epstein had deceived and overcharged him. The record, however, points to a relationship that was far more extensive and personal than that description suggests. Black paid Epstein approximately $158 million between 2012 and 2017, years after Epstein had pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor, and also directed a $10 million donation to an Epstein-linked charity. Black continued consulting Epstein on personal matters, including disputes involving women, while documents show Epstein acting as an intermediary in sensitive situations. Black's claim that Epstein was not truly a close friend is also difficult to reconcile with his contribution to Epstein's 2003 birthday album, where he referred to him as a “dear friend,” joked about Epstein's interest in women and signed the message “love and kisses.”The inconsistencies became even more pronounced during Black's congressional questioning. While presenting himself as fully cooperative and eager to clear the record, he and his attorneys refused to answer questions about nondisclosure agreements, settlements and the number of women with whom he had entered confidential arrangements. That resistance prompted lawmakers to issue subpoenas for documents and additional sworn testimony. Black has denied all allegations of sexual misconduct and no criminal charges have been brought against him in connection with Epstein, but his carefully narrowed account does not comfortably match the scale of the payments, the duration of the association, the personal communications or his continued reliance on Epstein after the financier's conviction. Though Martin Gilbert later attempted to correct the record, these amateur spies largely slipped from historical memory. Tennant died in 1962, his contributions unacknowledged. Conwell-Evans lived modestly until 1968, having advised five Prime Ministers. Grahame Christie, a heroic and modest figure, committed suicide in 1971 at age 91. Their story remains a testament to the "blindness" of official diplomacy and the bravery of those who tried to "civilize" the Nazis to avert global catastrophe. (16)1943
