My new favorite woman Sara Foster is here, and we get real about everything: growing up in Hollywood with David Foster as her dad, our Brody Jenner connection, therapy, low self-esteem, dating after a 20-year relationship, and why she currently has zero interest in compromising for a man. We also talk about building an empire with Erin Foster — from Nobody Wants This to Favorite Daughter — plus the reality of rejection in Hollywood, hustle culture, and why not every woman needs to start a business.A word from my sponsors:Foria: Experience your juiciest and deepest sensual experience with a bottle of Foria. If your body changes after having a baby, there's probably something that can be improved, even if everyone tells you it's "just part of motherhood."  In this episode, I'm joined by Melissa Kate, a pelvic floor physical therapist at Weekes Wellness, to break down the difference between symptoms that are common after childbirth and symptoms that are actually normal. Melissa shares her own surprising journey into pelvic floor PT (involving a very public leak nine years postpartum) and dives deep into the two main types of pelvic floor dysfunction most moms have never heard of: a tight pelvic floor versus a weak one. Spoiler: most people assume weakness is the issue, but tightness is actually far more common. We cover: The real difference between tight and weak pelvic floors, and why Kegels can actually make things worse if you're dealing with tightness A free self-screening tool you can use right now to find out if you likely have pelvic floor dysfunction Why painful sex postpartum could be linked to muscle tightness, tissue hydration (hello, breastfeeding moms), or both What causes postpartum tailbone pain and how it connects to your pelvic floor How traumatic or breech births can affect the pelvic floor and supporting tissues Why breathing technique is the most underrated tool in pelvic floor recovery The surprising connection between your glutes, hips, core, and pelvic floor function What to actually expect at your first in-person pelvic floor PT appointment, since most moms have no idea and are too nervous to ask Whether you're dealing with leaking, pelvic pain, painful sex, constipation, or you just feel like something's "off" since having kids, this episode will help you understand what's going on in your body and why it's worth getting assessed, even if you've been told it's just something you have to live with. Connect with Melissa and Weekes Wellness: Week Wellness has locations in Florida, Massachusetts, Colorado, and California, plus virtual sessions available nationwide. Visit weekswellness.com or find them on Instagram and Facebook @weekswellness If you found this episode helpful, share it with a mom in your life who needs to hear it. You could be eating well, working out, and doing everything right and still carry stubborn fat around your midsection that will not move. That is not a willpower problem. Visceral fat is the fat that wraps around your organs deep inside your abdomen, and it behaves completely differently than the fat under your skin. It is metabolically active, releasing inflammatory signals into your bloodstream around the clock and driving insulin resistance, high blood pressure, and metabolic syndrome. Most people have no idea that specific supplements have actual clinical data showing they target visceral fat directly. In this episode, Dr. G breaks down five supplements with real research behind them, what the studies actually measured, and the exact doses used. In this episode, you'll learn:  • Why berberine has to be taken three times a day with meals to work, and the meta analysis showing real reductions in visceral fat and waist circumference  • The randomized controlled trial where resistant starch led to over 6 pounds of measured visceral fat loss in 8 weeks, and how to dose it without destroying your gut  • Why EPA dose matters more than total fish oil, the 1800 milligram number from the research, and why 45% of fish oil on shelves has already gone rancid Plus the role of magnesium in insulin resistance and visceral fat storage, why EGCG only works alongside exercise, and Dr. G's week by week protocol for building all of this into your routine. NAD is everywhere right now: supplements, injections, podcast topics, longevity clinics. And I'll be honest, when something gets this trendy, I get skeptical. But NAD is different. This is actually something I've been watching closely for nearly 25 years, and the science has finally caught up.Here's what most people don't realize: the exhaustion, the brain fog, the slower recovery you've been chalking up to "just getting older"? That's often your NAD levels in freefall, and it's happening earlier than you think. On this episode, I'm breaking down what NAD actually does inside your cells, why most supplements on the market are quietly failing you, and what I looked for when I finally designed my own formula — Gundry MD Elevate NAD+. I spent years waiting to make one until I could develop an NAD supplement that delivered you real results. On this episode, you'll learn: What the "second baseman" is, and why it is the most important player in your cellular health (3:09)All about the French Paradox and its connection to NAD research (4:32)What fasting and strength training have in common that no one talks about (6:15)The dirty secret about most NMN supplements on the market (7:35)3 reasons your NAD gets depleted (and what a well-designed formula like Gundry MD Elevate NAD+ actually does about it) (15:25)The checklist I use to evaluate any NAD supplement (17:41)What age should you actually start thinking about NAD support (12:21)What real NAD support looks like in practice (hear my personal story) (10:57)A special thank you for being part of our podcast family, use code PODCAST25 for 25% off your purchase of my brand-new NAD supplement. This is one of those episodes I usually reserve for my mentorship courses and the practitioners I train, so I'm really glad I decided to bring it to the show. There is so much noise right now on Instagram and TikTok about liver health and gallbladder health, but a 20-slide carousel can only go so deep. My hope is that hearing this explained — with real stories and analogies — actually moves you to explore your own digestive health in a meaningful way. In this episode, I cover: Why your liver, digestive system, and nervous system are interconnected — and what happens when one goes offline The constellation of symptoms that get dismissed as "just IBS" or "just perimenopause" (bloating, bowel irregularities, right-sided shoulder ache, mood swings, waking between 1–3 AM, and more) How your liver metabolizes estrogen — and what estrogen dominance really signals about liver load The two phases of liver detoxification, which nutrients support each phase (B vitamins, magnesium bisglycinate, glycine, NAC), and what happens when those phases become sluggish The gallbladder's role as the liver's partner — and why removing it without addressing root cause is a missed opportunity The gut–brain axis, the vagus nerve, and why 90% of your serotonin is made in the gut Beta-glucuronidase — why your gut microbiome is directly influencing your hormone balance Blood work markers to request from your doctor: ALT, AST, ALP, GGT, bilirubin, albumin, ferritin, fasting insulin, HbA1c, full lipid panel, and more Functional testing I recommend: comprehensive stool test, Dutch Complete, HTMA, and when to consider an OAT test Nutrition priorities: cruciferous vegetables, bitter greens, fiber diversity, healthy fats, choline (please don't ditch the egg yolk), and eating in a parasympathetic state Supplement support for the liver, gut, and nervous system — including Hepato DR, L-glutamine, GI Revive, ox bile, calcium D-glucarate, and adaptogens Let's dive in! Have you ever wondered if the supplements you are taking are actually doing anything for you, or if you are just throwing money away because of social media trends? I dive into the archives to bring you a compilation of real science to stop the confusion around nutrition and fat burners. I interview an industry formulator who shares why a company's underlying philosophy matters more than flashy ingredient lists, and how an innovative delivery mechanism like focus gum can bypass digestion for immediate results. Next, we look at the power of molecular hydrogen water for inflammation, along with major warning signs to watch out for with poorly built machines. Finally, I detail my favorite daily health hacks, including strategic combinations like pairing collagen with vitamin C and managing tough mornings with sleep deprivation strategies. Key takeaways Look for the foundational philosophy and credibility of a supplement company rather than simply shopping for trendy ingredients. Ensure the products you buy undergo verified testing so you know the label claims are accurate. Practice patience and consistency by giving new supplements at least ninety days to build up foundational networks and show true results. Avoid spending money on carb blockers and fat burners, as they rarely deliver the metabolic value they promise. Support mental focus by looking for methods that deliver immediate absorption while keeping the nervous system calm. Boost skin elasticity and joint function by always pairing daily collagen with regular vitamin C. Blunt cognitive decline on sleep-deprived days by utilizing a strategic, larger morning dose of creatine to restore brain energy. Is the practitioner supplement market dead? Or is it just evolving into something completely unrecognizable? In this video, I break down why the traditional "insulated fortress" of practitioner dietary supplements (which accounts for around 9% of the total U.S. supplement industry) has officially been dismantled. With the death of information asymmetry, the rise of virtual dispensing systems like Fullscript, and precision AI-driven personalized manufacturing, a brand-new strategic playbook is required to win. I'll analyze the battle between legacy supplement giants (defending clinical prestige) and newcomers inverting the funnel through "Reverse-Channel Entry." Discover why the future of health optimization belongs entirely to data interoperability...bridging wearables, lab diagnostics, and virtual prescription pads. If you are a practitioner, brand owner, or health-tech founder, this is the blueprint for how supplements are being manufactured, sold, marketed, and prescribed.

In this episode, I sat down with Deputy Dean Veronica Hauad of the University of Chicago to explore what the university calls the “life of the mind” — and what that truly means for applicants. If you've ever wondered how one of the most intellectually rigorous universities in the country evaluates students, this conversation pulls back the curtain. From the Core Curriculum to the famously creative essay prompts, Deputy Dean Hauad shares exactly what UChicago looks for — and why intellectual curiosity matters more than a résumé packed with achievements. What You'll Learn in This EpisodeThe Core Curriculum & Academic IdentityWhy UChicago remains deeply committed to a classic liberal arts foundation. Deputy Dean Hauad explains the eight subject areas every student completes — and how this shared academic experience shapes classroom conversations and campus culture. What “Fit” Actually MeansUChicago isn't looking for students who can simply handle the rigor — they're looking for students who enjoy dissecting ideas. Learn how the admissions team evaluates whether an applicant will thrive in an environment built around inquiry and debate. The Famous Supplemental EssaysWhy UChicago's unconventional essay prompts are so important — and why they reveal “how you think,” not just what you've accomplished. This is where applicants truly differentiate themselves. The “No Harm” Test-Optional PolicyA clear explanation of UChicago's approach to standardized testing. If a score doesn't strengthen an application, it won't be used. Context — including a student's high school profile — matters more than headline averages.Letters of Recommendation That Stand OutWhy specific classroom anecdotes carry more weight than glowing adjectives. Deputy Dean Hauad explains what makes a recommendation memorable.Financial Aid DemystifiedAn inside look at UChicago's “No Loan” policy and 100% need-met commitment. Families are encouraged to use Net Price Calculators early to understand affordability and reduce uncertainty.Top Takeaways for Families• Designate “Admissions Time.” Choose one set time per week to discuss college tasks and protect the rest of senior year for enjoying family time.• Don't Rush the Supplement. School-specific essays often reveal “fit” more clearly than the personal statement.• Stay True to Yourself. Instead of asking, “What does the college want?” ask, “What genuinely excites me?” The right colleges are looking for students who lean into their authentic intellectual interests. If you're navigating highly selective admissions — or simply want to better understand how top institutions evaluate applicants — this episode offers clarity, candor, and practical guidance straight from the source.University of Chicago - Admissions & Aid------------------------------------

Creatine has long been boxed into the weight-room world, but this episode opens the door to a much bigger conversation for trail runners and endurance athletes. Creatine is something surprisingly simple, "right within the reach of a glass," that may help athletes become stronger, faster, healthier, and more resilient. We discuss with Dr. Dan Pardi, Chief Health Officer at Qualia Life Sciences, whether this familiar supplement can support not just performance, but long-term health and better daily function. For runners who usually think about carbs, hydration, shoes, and mileage first, creatine offers a different kind of performance question: what if strength, recovery, and durability start with something small and easy? It's a practical topic for athletes who want to keep moving well, aging well, and showing up stronger on the trail.
