The 3 Big Questions We're Answering: 1. What are the common distractions that keep us from achieving our health goals, and how can we effectively identify and overcome them? 2. How do our social circles and environments influence our health behaviors, and what strategies can we implement to create a supportive network? 3. When Dr. Edwin Simpson began his career as a veterinarian for champion racehorses, he never imagined he'd one day be formulating cutting-edge supplements for humans. But that's exactly what happened. Over decades of working with elite animals suffering from stress fractures and performance fatigue, Dr. Simpson developed natural, plant-based formulas to strengthen bones and accelerate healing. What began as a mission to support equine health eventually became something much bigger—after clients began asking, “Can I take this too?” The answer became Alexsyn, a supplement company rooted in science, real-world results, and a deep understanding of how the body heals from within. Now, at the forefront of his human health product line is a revolutionary bone support formula called RevOsteo—a product that may very well change how we age, move, and stay strong. The Problem Most of Us Never See Coming By the time we reach our 50s, most of us are already losing bone density—and we don't even know it. “Osteoporosis is known as the silent killer,” Dr. Simpson says. “You don't feel your bones weakening—until you fall, fracture something, or get a DEXA scan that shocks you.” In fact, over 54 million Americans have low bone mass, and 1 in 2 women over 50 will break a bone due to osteoporosis. Yet the traditional approach—calcium supplements and hope—isn't cutting it. That's where RevOsteo comes in. Why RevOsteo Is Different RevOsteo is not another calcium supplement. In fact, it doesn't include calcium at all. “Most people get enough calcium from food,” says Dr. Simpson. “The real issue is whether your body is absorbing and using it effectively.” RevOsteo is designed to do what calcium alone can't: stimulate new bone formation, reduce bone loss, and support long-term skeletal health. Its formula is built around three powerful, synergistic ingredients: Icarin – A plant compound from Epimedium that boosts the activity of osteoblasts (cells that build bone) while suppressing osteoclasts (cells that break bone down). Beta-glucans – Known for their immune-supporting and anti-inflammatory properties, they also help regulate bone metabolism. Vitamin K2 (MK-7) – Guides calcium into the bones and away from arteries, helping to prevent both bone loss and vascular issues. These are supported by Vitamin D3 (essential for calcium absorption) and Boron (for hormone balance and bone matrix production). The result? A complete, targeted approach to bone health—without fillers or fluff. The Origin Story Behind the Formula The inspiration for RevOsteo didn't come from a lab—it came from the racetrack. Years ago, Dr. Simpson began treating young racehorses developing stress fractures during training. While their cardiovascular systems adapted quickly, their skeletal systems lagged behind, often resulting in serious injury. Through years of testing and formulation, he created a bone support formula that significantly reduced fractures in these high-performance animals. Eventually, that same formula evolved into RevOsteo for humans, fine-tuned for aging adults looking to protect their independence and mobility. The Bigger Picture of Aging Well Dr. Simpson is the first to say: RevOsteo is only one part of the solution. “To really protect your bones and live a long, healthy life, you also need strength training, proper nutrition, sleep, and sometimes hormone support,” he says. But supplementation fills in the gaps—especially as we age, hormone levels decline, and nutrient absorption weakens. That's why RevOsteo is ideal for: Women post-menopause Men over 50 with declining testosterone Anyone with osteopenia or family history of osteoporosis Active adults looking to preserve mobility and avoid fractures And while it won't deliver overnight results, Dr. Simpson says you can expect measurable gains—a 3–8% increase in bone density over 6 to 12 months—when combined with strength training and proper lifestyle support. What Else Is in the Alexsyn Line? While RevOsteo is the flagship product for bone health, Alexsyn offers a full suite of wellness tools, including: VeloSleep – A serotonin-boosting sleep gummy for deep, natural rest without synthetic melatonin overload. Amend GI – A plant-based gut health formula inspired by successful treatments for ulcers in high-performance horses. F-Ox VCS – Vision and cognitive support designed to protect the brain and eyes from oxidative stress as we age. Still, it's RevOsteo that's making the biggest impact—especially during National Osteoporosis Awareness Month and beyond. Ready to Strengthen Your Foundation? If you want to stay mobile, active, and independent well into your later years, don't wait for a fracture to get serious about your bones.

Welcome back to our weekend Cabral HouseCall shows! This is where we answer our community's wellness, weight loss, and anti-aging questions to help people get back on track! Check out today's questions: Felicia: Hello Dr. Cabral. What are your thoughts on this magnesium supplement ? Magnesium bisglycinate, fillers (microcrystalline cellulose, dicalcium phosphate), anti-caking agents (silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate), coating agents (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, glycerol). Worth taken or should I look for another one? Thanks for your help Audrey: Hi Dr. Cabral, Thank you for being my go to person for all of my health questions! What are your thoughts on taking creatine while pregnant? I am going to keep strength training throughout my pregnancy and am hoping this helps with maintaining some muscle. I've read great things about it helping mom and baby but want to know what you think. I know you cannot give medical advice. Thanks Elsa: Hi Dr. Cabral! Thanks for all the information you provide. I'm a fairly recent listener but already have learned so much from you. May God continue to bless you, your family, and your team. My question is regarding my husband. He did a genetic test and came out positive for the MTHFR heterozygous A1298C and COMT heterozygous G472A (Val108/158Met). I've listened to your recent podcasts on COMT, but my question is regarding supplements to avoid if you have this variant. He doesn't take any medications, and already takes methylated B complex to support MTHFR and high homocysteine levels (8.3). He also takes Vit C, Zinc+Copper, Mag, Vit D+K2, Omega 3s, Probiotics. The test results indicate to avoid Quercetin and Green Tea because they are COMT inhibitors? True? Thanks. Bettina: Hello Dr. Cabral. What are your thought on Super CitriMax for weightloss using a combination of 4500 mg Garcinia Cambogia with 60% HCA with 600 mg of Chromium and 1000 mg of B3 Niacinamide or B3 Nicotinamide? Thanks for your thoughts on this. Hannah: Hi Dr Cabral! I wrote in when you said the que was closer to 2-3 weeks and I haven't heard my question yet so this is incase my question got lost- myself and a couple of people I've met recently get an elevated heart rate when drinking alcohol (even 1 drink). This has never happened to me before and I'm very well hydrating prior, what else besides histamines could this be? Second, I have a very scant amount of blood per rectum every couple of days since starting the CBO, have you heard of this happening? I'm thinking to d/c citricidal early, I didn't test prior to CBO and only have 3 days left of that to see if it's related. Thanks for everything!! You've probably heard of vitamin B3. It's a molecule that's in your cells right now, quietly helping keep you alive. It goes by other names such as nicotinamide. You've also heard of niacinamide, particularly if you're a skincare girly on social media.Sometimes it's just called vitamin B3, or occasionally you will see NAD plus booster. It's all largely the same thing. Kind of.I wanted to have a chat about this particular ingredient because it's one of the many pieces of magic in Incrediballs, my new drinks start-up, which launches next week, so I know a lot about this ingredient. But I also want to talk about it because it's kind of a symptom of the massive wellness industry, which is actually about three times larger than pharma. So is it just hype, is it actually useful or does it just give you really expensive wee... ?In this episode I share:The many names of nicotinamide and what it actually isThe science around how our body uses nicotinamideWhy most adverts about nicotinamide are rubbishThe trials around nicotinamide and cognitive abilitiesThe 3 pathways that NAD+ effects in regards to agingWhat can we actually say about NAD+ Is Nicotinamide effective in helping in skin wellness? Why Nicotinamide can give you more energy, but not in the way most people claimCan it boost your metabolismWhat is a safe dose of nicotinamide? The amount of NAD+ IncrediballsFind our full podcast via the website here: https://www.nowthatswhaticall.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nowthatswhaticallgreen/You can follow me on socials on the below accounts.Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/briannemwest/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@briannemwestLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/briannemwest/For our latest big project, find out more about Incrediballs here: https://incrediballs.com/

On today's episode, we're sharing an audio from one our private, group coaching calls for members of my program, the Better Belly Blueprint. What she WASN'T sure about was - when (if ever?) could she safely re-start the supplement? If you've ever been in a similar place to Barbara and have wondered about if you should keep taking a supplement if it gives you symptoms and, if yes, when or how to take that supplement safely - then you DON'T want to miss out on my answer to Barbara! Understanding the Importance of Vitamin D for PCOS HealthIn this episode of the PCOS Repair Podcast, the spotlight is on vitamin D—a nutrient often mentioned in PCOS conversations but not always fully understood. Commonly referred to as the "sunshine vitamin," vitamin D plays a critical role not only in bone health but also in glucose metabolism, inflammation reduction, and immune system support. These are all key factors in managing PCOS. This episode explores how vitamin D influences these processes and why it's especially important for women with PCOS to monitor and maintain healthy levels. How Your Body Absorbs and Utilizes Vitamin DVitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin, meaning it needs dietary fat to be absorbed properly. Whether you're getting it from food, supplements, or sunlight, understanding how absorption works is essential. This episode explains the best ways to ensure your body can utilize vitamin D efficiently, including the types of foods that support absorption and the limitations of relying solely on sun exposure—especially in less sunny climates or during winter months.Common Risk Factors for Vitamin D DeficiencyEven with efforts to eat well and spend time outdoors, many people still have low vitamin D levels. This episode covers some of the reasons for that, including certain chronic health conditions, higher body fat percentages, and issues with the body's activation process of vitamin D through the liver and kidneys. You'll also hear why a low-fat diet or poor nutrition in general can impact your ability to maintain adequate levels.Testing for Deficiency and When to SupplementIf you're unsure whether you're getting enough vitamin D, the most reliable method is a simple blood test. In this episode, you'll learn what those lab results mean, how to interpret them beyond just the "normal" range, and when to retest. It also offers practical suggestions for choosing a supplement and how to avoid overdoing it—especially since vitamin D is stored in the body and can accumulate over time. Why Vitamin D Matters in Your PCOS JourneyWhile no single supplement is a fix-all for PCOS, vitamin D can play a significant supporting role. From improving insulin sensitivity and reducing inflammation to helping regulate hormones, this nutrient may be a crucial piece of the puzzle for those with a deficiency. This episode breaks down how correcting low levels of vitamin D can be a powerful first step toward feeling better—without overcomplicating your routine or chasing a quick fix.Be sure to check out the free PCOS Supplement Guide at supplementsforpcos.com. In part three of his series on the unifications of Germany and Italy, Dan talks about the turbulent 1850s and early 60s. In Germany, this is a time of mass industrialization. With the regional economy growing at a record pace, Prussia and Austria engage in saber-rattling diplomacy over the future of the German Confederation. Meanwhile, the new King of Piedmont-Sardinia, Victor Emmanuel II, aims to do what his father could not: conquer all of Italy. Taking advantage of Austrian weakness – and a burgeoning alliance with France – he and three other men will engineer a revolution that unites the Apennine Peninsula for the first time since the Roman Empire. Creatine is a naturally occurring compound that offers benefits beyond muscle growth, including cognitive enhancement, heart health protection, and neuroprotective effects for long-term brain health. This powerful supplement works by increasing ATP production in your cells, creating a reserve of energy that helps with everything from workout performance to brain function.• Creatine is produced naturally in the body (about 1g daily) and found in red meat and fish• 90% of creatine is stored in muscles with 10% in the brain and testes• Functions as phosphocreatine to help produce ATP, your body's cellular energy currency• Traditional protocol includes 20g loading phase for two weeks followed by 5g daily maintenance• Recent research suggests 10g daily may provide optimal cognitive and physical benefits• Helps improve workout capacity by allowing more reps and faster recovery• Offers neuroprotective benefits that may help prevent conditions like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's• Improves short-term memory, focus, and can enhance cognition during sleep deprivation• Supports cardiovascular health and may benefit those recovering from heart failure• Contrary to myths, has been proven safe for kidneys by the National Kidney Disease Association• Especially beneficial for vegetarians and vegans who don't get dietary creatine• Water retention from creatine is intramuscular, actually enhancing muscle definition• Benefits both men and women without causing unwanted "bulk" in female users• One of the most researched supplements with minimal side effects• Can be taken any time of day - consistency matters more than timingIf you want to learn more about supplements or have topics you'd like us to cover, reach out to us on social media at WeHackHealth on all platforms.Support the showCheck out Overclock and Protein Protocol hereWant to know more about coaching? Send us a textSupplements are an important tool in today's world where our food has fewer nutrients than in the past, but taking them without understanding why or choosing low-quality brands can waste money and potentially harm health. We explore the top three mistakes people make with supplements and how to choose products that genuinely support your body's needs.• Mistake #1: Relying on supplements instead of focusing on a nutrient-dense diet and lifestyle changes• Mistake #2: Buying supplements without checking brand credibility – 4 out of 5 supplements from major retailers don't contain the herbs listed on labels• Mistake #3: Taking supplements without a clear reason or understanding if they're actually helping• Look for third-party certifications like NSF, GMP, ISO, or IFOS (for fish oil) when purchasing supplements• Consider working with a practitioner who can help identify what supplements will specifically support your needs• Use lab testing to make data-backed decisions about supplementation rather than guessingFREE RESOURCE DESIGNED FOR WOMEN IN SALESUnlocking Peak Performance: A Hormonal Guide for Women in Sales

Low energy, stubborn belly fat, weak workouts, poor sleep, no sex drive? That's not normal. It's low testosterone, and it's a silent epidemic affecting millions of men, especially over 40.In this episode, I'm breaking down the 10 Commandments of Naturally Increasing Testosterone—the exact framework I've used to help thousands of men inside the Over 40 Alpha Brotherhood reclaim their strength, their confidence, and their manhood. We're not talking about TRT, steroids, or any quick-fix BS. This is all about dialing in your lifestyle, so your body starts producing more testosterone naturally, the way it was always meant to.I'm going to show you why belly fat is your enemy, how poor sleep crushes your hormones, what kind of training actually boosts your T, and why most guys are unknowingly flooding their bodies with estrogenic toxins. We'll also talk about porn, alcohol, junk food, and the weak habits that are straight-up sabotaging your masculinity. These 10 commandments aren't just tips. They're non-negotiables. And when you lock them in, you'll not only increase your testosterone, but you'll feel more alive, more powerful, and more you than you've felt in years.Let's get after it.Timestamps:01:54 - The real epidemic06:20 - The Alpha Zone: What optimal testosterone looks like07:26 - Carl's transformation story at 4710:44 - Commandment #1: Thou shalt lift weights (the RIGHT way)17:20 - Commandment #2: Prioritize deep sleep for testosterone production23:05 - Commandment #3: Master your nutrition with balanced meals27:43 - Commandment #4: Eliminate belly fat 31:02 - Commandment #5: Crush chronic stress with proven daily habits37:11 - Commandment #6: Ditch estrogenic toxins (and reclaim your hormones)39:12 - Commandment #7: Move daily beyond workouts40:37 - Commandment #8: Supplement wisely43:37 - Commandment #9: Fuel the Alpha mindset46:47 - Commandment #10: Thou shalt reject all low T lifestyle choices
