I recently was listing to Rickie Lee Jones's first album and was taken back to the early 80's. I had moved from Kentucky to New York state. I was dating a girl that was a big fan of hers. I had been listing to mostly classic rock but this album I really enjoyed. I mentioned something similar on my website's blog about how these old vinyl records are a type of "time travel" for me.

Hey folks, I wanted to introduce myself and give you some insight on my vinyl record collecting background. This is just me recalling my early days as a kid growing up in central Kentucky discovering Pink Floyd and FM radio for the first time. If you are listening to this, I thank you.
