Where Science, Shadow Work, and Spirit Collide to Manifest Your Miracles.A few weeks ago, I learned something that cracked me open and then crowned me. Every single woman on my street had been talking shit about me. Studying me. Picking apart my clothes, my body, my energy, my podcast, my business. Every day. For seven months. And when I found out? It broke me. But then I remembered. People don't gossip about powerless women. They gossip about the ones they secretly wish they could be.They weren't attacking me. They were attacking the version of themselves they abandoned. And their nervous systems couldn't handle my freedom. My joy. My light. I'm gonna show you how to turn their gossip into your next quantum leap.Episode Takeaways:Understand the neuroscience behind jealousy and projectionLearn how your light activates others' unhealed shadowsUse the 4 R's: Recognize, Reframe, Reclaim, RedirectReframe gossip as confirmation of your timeline upgradeEmbody the identity they're too scared to step intoWhen you apply this, you stop shrinking. You start showing up bigger, bolder, louder. You realize their hate isn't your downfall. It's your f*cking upgrade. Let them talk. You move.

You and Me is another “Little song”, if we use Ivan Anderson's brilliant concept of what that means. It doesn't shoot for the moon, doesn't explore nuanced or clever or grand themes. It's a singular expression of companionship and love with a healthy dose of insecurity to humanize it. It's a simple arrangement with some beautiful piano work and a very cool bass part that moves around that brisk backbeat in a lively fashion.Song and links:You and Me : https://youtu.be/RrdKLxtw2Fo=38 Years Old (The Tragically Hip) : https://youtu.be/ICHPKx6KJSMI Want You (Bob Dylan) : https://youtu.be/-iIS6ZZ9RVASchool of Hip : https://shows.acast.com/school-of-hipFollow me on social media, like, subscribe, and please, leave a rating if you like the show.Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thetompettyprojectBluesky: https://twitter.com/TomPettyProjectInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/thetompettyprojectYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@thetompettyprojectBoneless Podcast Network : https://boneless-catalogue-player.lovable.appThe theme song is provided by my very best friend Randy Woods. The conversation includes insights from guests Neil McCabe and AWR Hawkins, focusing on the Australia shooting incident and the cultural attitudes towards violence and self-defense. The episode emphasizes the importance of being prepared to defend oneself and the role of organizations like the NRA in advocating for gun rights. In this conversation, Mark Walters and his guests discuss various aspects of gun rights, self-defense, and the implications of gun control laws. They delve into the complexities surrounding open carry laws, the legal ramifications of self-defense incidents, and the challenges faced by law enforcement in high-stress situations. The discussion also covers the recent events in Australia, highlighting the failures of gun control measures and the impact of gun-free zones on public safety. The guests emphasize the importance of armed citizens in preventing violence and the misleading statistics often used to argue against gun rights. Takeaways The importance of self-defense in today’s society. Gun control laws often leave law-abiding citizens vulnerable. Cultural attitudes towards violence can impact responses to threats. The NRA plays a crucial role in advocating for gun rights. Recent terror attacks highlight the need for personal preparedness. Law enforcement’s response time can be critical in crisis situations. The process of gun control can be seen as punitive. Public perception of gun ownership is influenced by media narratives. Understanding the implications of political decisions on gun rights is essential. Community awareness and involvement are key in advocating for self-defense rights. Open carry can divide communities, even in gun-friendly states. Law enforcement’s response in self-defense situations is complex and often scrutinized. Self-defense incidents can lead to legal battles, regardless of the circumstances. Gun control measures in Australia have not effectively prevented violence. Gun-free zones may create vulnerabilities rather than enhance safety. Statistics on gun violence can be misleading and do not always reflect the reality of armed citizens. The presence of firearms does not inherently lead to danger; context matters. Campus carry laws can empower students to defend themselves. The nanny state can hinder effective responses to threats. Public perception of firearms is often shaped by fear rather than facts.

We have a busy Monday slate as the Dolphins take on the Steelers on MNF, the Heat play the Raptors, and the Cats are in action against the Lightning. Tobin was locked into Phillip River's return to football, the Colts almost got away with that one. Leroy is disgusted by how Pavia reacted to not winning the Heisman, he took petty to a whole other level, and it's time to gather around the locker room as Leroy gives away his Gameballs and Gamebums, this edition ALL about the Heisman. Tobin is fired up after seeing the Dolphins practicing in the snow on Saturday, but Leroy and Brittney aren't very moved, as we discuss the NFL Playoff landscape with no true front runners. We quickly get derailed when Tobin poses a question to South Florida sports fans — Joe Burrow to the Miami Dolphins or Giannis to the Miami Heat? We kick off the final hour with sound from the Cats after their dominant win over the Dallas Stars, Philip Rivers shares how it feels to get hit again after 5 years away, we update the poll results, and wrap up the show with Alright! Oh No! as Tobin is mad at the fish, Leroy ain't buying the Phins in the snow, and Brittney has a soft spot for Philip Rivers.

This special bonus episode of the podcast is a conversation I had with the wonderful Brian Ruskin of the Honest and Unmerciful Record Review Podcast. As well as co-hosting one of my favourite shows, Brian is a prolific musician who has released over a dozen albums of his own material. We're taking a sylistic detour today however as we plunge headlong into the world of electronic music, loops, samples, heavily processed guitars, and found sounds! But don't worry, we have a fantastic guide! We talk about how discovering his music unlocked a part of my musical brain I didn't even know existed and Brian was absolutely brilliant in articulating his creative process and his background in getting to this stage in his creative life.Song and links relevant to the episode:Mental Heatlh Consumer @ Bandcamp: https://mentalhealthconsumer.bandcamp.com/The new album The Echoes I Sent: https://mentalhealthconsumer.bandcamp.com/album/the-echoes-i-sentLinkhub for links to streaming platforms and press: https://music.imusician.pro/a/xDnwUJqNLabel: EC Underground: https://ecunderground.bandcamp.com/Far Above the World Tonight: https://mentalhealthconsumer.bandcamp.com/album/far-above-the-world-tonightHonest and Unmerciful Record Review Podcast: https://honest-unmerciful-record-review.podbean.com/Follow me on social media, like, subscribe, and please, leave a rating if you like the show.Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thetompettyprojectBluesky: https://twitter.com/TomPettyProjectInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/thetompettyprojectYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@thetompettyprojectBoneless Podcast Network : https://boneless-catalogue-player.lovable.appThe theme song is provided by my very best friend Randy Woods. Send us a textRHOSLC-Greek for the Week, Petty for a LifetimePodcast Summary – RHOSLC S6 E13 “Greek for the Week”The ladies of Salt Lake City kick off their Greek getaway, and the chaos truly does travel internationally.Angie hosts Heather and Mary for a Greek lesson at her home, where they learn extremely useful phrases like “shut up” and “piss off.” Meanwhile, the rest of the ladies gear up for the trip and arrive in Santorini wearing Greek flag sunglasses and waving flags like they're in a parade.Immediately, drama hits the table—literally, at the restaurant. Angie casually mentions she had the fat pads removed under her eyes, which sends Lisa into her usual spiral of insecurity. That leads straight into the Cartier Wars: Angie and Lisa's airport argument about who copied whose Cartier watch. Heather reveals she bought herself a matching Cartier during their layover because it was duty-free—naturally sending Whitney into hysterics. The episode flashes receipts (literally) showing Angie had the watch in 2016, but Lisa still insists she's the moment. The rest of the women? Laughing at the ridiculousness. At the villa, the glam vs. no-glam divide returns—Lisa refuses to travel without her glam squad and ends up three hours late to shopping and sunset views, arriving in sunglasses like she's in hiding. The women aren't impressed. On the beach, Mary diagnoses everyone with “bucket face,” “pie face,” “oblong face,” or “square dingbat face.” No notes. Perfect television.Lunch turns tense when Angie asks Bronwyn about her marriage; Bronwyn denies any open marriage rumors and Heather calls out the inconsistencies, backed by Mary and Whitney. Bronwyn insists everyone is adding 2+2 and getting 5.The bigger tension, though, is Meredith vs. Heather. Meredith planned a private conversation to address Heather calling her a liar, but Heather refuses any private talk that could be twisted. Meredith tries to give her an evil eye necklace as a peace offering; Heather politely accepts but demands an honest conversation.Dinner explodes when Heather confronts Meredith about selectively choosing outrage—specifically, blowing up over a TikTok while ignoring bigger betrayals. Meredith insists she never called Heather a liar, and Lisa inserts herself to defend Meredith, causing another emotional pileup. Then Whitney finally breaks, saying everyone is fighting because of how Meredith treated Brittany on the plane, and Meredith's refusal to own it is driving the group into chaos. Meredith storms off while Lisa chases after her, naturally. The episode ends with no resolution, but plenty of tears, raised voices, and deep friendship fractures set to carry into the donkey ride in Santorini teased for next week.WWHL Highlights: – Heather hints reunion will explain the missing plane footage. – Polls overwhelmingly say Lisa is more competitive, Cartier watches are for grandmas, and Angie had the best reunion look. – Only 9% believe Lisa & Meredith's version of the plane incident.Living the Dream with CurveballOn the living the dream with curveball podcast I interview guests that inspire.Listen on: Apple Podcasts Support the showhttps://www.wewinewhenever.com/

How Petty Are You?
Did you know Tom Petty wrote just one Christmas song? From the horse capital of the world to the main stage in Gainesville! This week's episode is a fantastic freewheeling chat that I had with the inimitable Shine, who I had the privilege of seeing perform at the Tom Petty Weekend and the greater pleasure spending an hour and change getting to know over Zoom. Like all the true originals, Shine has a way of expressing herself that imprints on you. She'll make you laugh (we talk about that!) and can make you cry with both her voice and with her intimate relationship with her guitar. But most of all, she'll make you sit forward in your seat and pay attention! We talk about growing up with Gospel and Bob Marley, competing in band competitions, and formal training vs just putting in the hours! We also discuss not overanalyzing what you're doing and being really present in the moment. I hope this comes across in our conversation because this just felt like a chat between two old friends and it was so much fun!Song and links mentioned in the episode:Shine's Insta : https://www.instagram.com/shineandtheshakers/On Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/ShineandtheShakersWoman's Plight : https://www.instagram.com/reel/DRNRn4ej4Bc/Follow me on social media, like, subscribe, and please, leave a rating if you like the show.Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thetompettyprojectBluesky: https://twitter.com/TomPettyProjectInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/thetompettyprojectYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@thetompettyprojectBoneless Podcast Network : https://boneless-catalogue-player.lovable.appThe theme song is provided by my very best friend Randy Woods. Go to Finishing Move When Someone Wrongs You on the Road: Today we're sharing our favorite harmless “finishing moves” when someone wrongs us on the road. Think small-scale pettiness, big emotional payoff. Sports Mom Dilemma:Today we hear from a sports mom who's drowning in schedules, gear, and back-to-back games. We talk through her challenges and share tips, tricks, and sanity-saving strategies for any parent trying to keep up. What's Trending: Today we're covering it all: the East Bay teachers on strike, the fluffiest Furry Friday yet, and when Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are actually headed for a wedding. And if you're planning to catch the FIFA World Cup, we've got the inside scoop on the best watch parties around. Second Date Update: Their connection started on one of “the apps,” though Connor can't even remember which one anymore. What he does remember is Valerie, gorgeous, quick-witted, and steady in a way that pulled him in. They talked food, terrible twenties roommates, and their mutual love for true crime. Everything flowed and then… silence. Connor wants answers. Australia Social Media Ban: A global first: Australia is banning kids under 16 from having any social media accounts, forcing Meta to remove young users by the hundreds of thousands. We break down what the ban means and why it's happening. Good News: When Liberty, Missouri was buried in snow, one man stepped up. We dive into the story of Phillip Grace, the stranger who cleared driveways for families in need — and gave one woman in a wheelchair hope she'd make it to her medical appointment.
We're diving into the economics of borders, the lines we pretend are ancient but were mostly scratched into the earth by soldiers, surveyors and empire-builders with rulers. From Ukraine's shifting frontlines to Dublin's Herzog Park, to Northern Ireland's uneasy edges, we trace how geography becomes politics. Then we go back to the original culprit: William Petty, Cromwell's cartographer, the man who mapped Ireland in 13 months and turned land into an asset class. His Down Survey redrew Ireland and created the blueprint for colonialism, capitalism and the straight-line borders that still ignite conflict from Central Asia to the Middle East. We follow the rulers, the rebellions, the dispossession and the economics behind every “line in the sand.” Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

We're going old school this week—straight to every millennial's favorite childhood battleground: the roller rink. Trevin kicks things off with a bizarre dream featuring Amanda, her husband, and a massive alligator. But when Dream Trevin tries to play hero, Real Trevin wakes up in a very familiar (and very painful) situation. Meanwhile, Amanda heads to a kid's birthday party at a roller rink. She shows up ready for nostalgia… but her mid-30s body is not ready to roll. Gravity absolutely has notes. Then it's time for Would You Rather. Amanda asks if you'd prefer a terrible-looking mugshot or a glamorous one where you're mid-sneeze. Trevin brings a year-end twist: would you rather every device you own insult you… or relive all of 2025 again? Amanda's story this week features a South Carolina teen who brings chaos to the rink—armed with confidence, questionable humor, and a water bottle full of cooking oil. Due to life being life, Trevin swaps his usual story for four headlines in what he calls his “Petty Black Mirror” segment. This week's petty tech tales include: • Facebook's underground sperm-selling groups and the petty drama inside Sperm Donors UK & Get Your Baby Dust Here. • An Ontario man tricked by ChatGPT into believing he'd discovered a world-saving breakthrough—sending him into psychosis. • The Kumma Bear, an AI-enabled teddy bear developing disturbing phrases and unsafe behaviors. • And an update to X's AI, Grok, that forces it to only compliment Elon Musk… leading trolls to prompt some very strange praise—including Elon's alleged skill of drinking pee. It's all fun-on-wheels meets dystopian tech weirdness this week. So lace up, log off, and join us for A Petty Skate of Affairs. For an hour or so, with the sun starting to make it's way to the basement to sleep, we drove in relative silence. Zoey's mood seemed to darken with the sky. Or that's the way it felt. I asked if there was anything wrong, she said, "Nothin' worth talkin' 'bout".And that's how it was for a while. A blue Sunday, Down the interstate. Blue, with shades of grey, and orange as the light began to fade. After a while, she turned to me and with a serious expression and asked me “You ever found it funny Jack, how a crowd gathers around anyone living life without a net?” Then she let go of the steering wheel and closed her eyes. That was the day I met Zoey. There's a lot more to tell, but I'll save that for another time.Song and links mentioned in the episode:Song : https://youtu.be/jUUpkMNU3_4 Jake Thistle live stream : https://youtu.be/pTIWCDHC1BY?t=313 Follow me on social media, like, subscribe, and please, leave a rating if you like the show.Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thetompettyprojectBluesky: https://twitter.com/TomPettyProjectInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/thetompettyprojectYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@thetompettyprojectBoneless Podcast Network : https://boneless-catalogue-player.lovable.appThe theme song is provided by my very best friend Randy Woods.
