Newly released diary entries and internal emails obtained by Sen. A blossoming creative bond within Tel Aviv's electronic music scene, Golan Zocher and Netaaa step forward on Clubsonica Records with “Magma”, an emotive original built around the soulful vocals of Ojeni, backed by remixes from Chilean-Canadian veteran Simply City and Córdoba's COQUEIT. Closing out the EP, Córdoba's COQUEIT discovered his calling for electronic music watching Eelke Kleijn perform in 2013, an experience that set him on a path shaped by the influence of countryman Hernan Cattaneo. Since 2020, his productions have found homes on Univack, Mango Alley and Pattern. Returning to Clubsonica Records following April 2025's 3-track “Warning” EP, COQUEIT brings his hypnotic, bass-driven signature to “Magma”. Propelled forward with a thumping kick and machine gun-fire bassline, the gravitas is lightened by Ojeni's angelic vocal lines while familiar melodic patterns make their presence felt alongside a searing new detuned lead at the breakdown. The Argentine's rework is thus a fitting close to the package.

Kimberly Murray and Connie Walker discuss the impending destruction of 38,000 residential school survival records and the project to preserve them. In our second episode of the season we are joined by co-leaders of the Indian Residential School Records Project, Pulitzer and Peabody award-winning journalist Connie Walker and former Executive Director of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada, Kimberly Murray. We discuss the scheduled destruction of 38,000 records containing the testimonies of Indian Residential School survivors, the resilience and courage of survivors, intergenerational survivors, families and communities to preserve the truth in the face of denial and historical erasure and the meaning and right to truth in the project of national reconciliation. Describing the 38,000 files set to be destroyed next year, Walker says:   "There's information about the persons of interest or the alleged abusers in residential schools. There's information about the scale of abuse at individual schools. That is what we're talking about when we're thinking of what is about to be lost in the IAP hearings. It's really, in some ways, the most complete truth that could ever be understood about Indian residential schools. "   According to Murray:   "It's going to erase the history. It's going to erase the truth. … if we fast-forward decades from now ..my grandchildren and my great-grandchildren might not know about Indian Residential Schools, 'cause we're slowly erasing that history. And this is part of that erasure. Anne Taylor, Bryan Kohberger's lead defense attorney, was paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for her work on the case. When she was initially appointed, Taylor's compensation was set at $200 per hour because she was qualified to handle a capital murder defense. After responsibility for Kohberger's defense shifted to the Idaho State Public Defender's Office in October 2024, her rate dropped to $150 per hour. Public records later showed that Taylor received about $485,000 from the state from October 2024 forward, a figure that included billable hours as well as reimbursements for expenses such as travel, meals and lodging.That $485,000 figure does not represent everything Taylor earned during the entire Kohberger case. Records detailing how much she was paid while Latah County was responsible for the defense remain sealed, meaning her total compensation from the beginning of the case has not been publicly established. Taylor had already been earning $200 an hour for her work before the state took over, and reporting described her overall earnings as reaching well into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Kohberger's entire publicly funded defense ultimately cost nearly $5.5 million, including attorneys, experts, investigators and other expenses, but the complete breakdown of exactly how much of that total went to Taylor remains unavailable.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

The Lindsay Clancy case is now focused on two kinds of information people say they could not see in time. Patrick Clancy told 60 Minutes that mental illness can be 'tragically deceptive.' Days later, Lindsay's lawyers asked the court to investigate what the lone holdout juror disclosed before he was selected and what he was doing during deliberations. Michael Desronvil was the only juror who favored criminal responsibility when the panel deadlocked 11-1 and Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial on September 4. Records reported after the trial show Desronvil had previously faced a domestic assault charge that was dismissed, had an active restraining order involving his teenage nephew when he was seated, and was involved in eviction proceedings. The defense is not treating those facts as automatic proof of misconduct. It is asking whether his confidential questionnaire and voir dire answers accurately disclosed the background the court normally asks prospective jurors to reveal. Reddington's filing also asks for a limited inquiry into alleged cellphone use during deliberations. Other jurors have accused the holdout of spending time on his phone, while Desronvil has publicly defended his verdict position and said he had no doubts about Clancy's criminal responsibility. Judge Sullivan has not publicly granted the requested inquiry as of September 23. The issue is set to return to court September 29 alongside the defense effort to stop a retrial. Patrick's interview adds the human side of the same case. He said Lindsay's decline included sleeplessness, depression, intrusive thoughts, repeated medical care, and a stay at McLean Psychiatric Hospital. He told 60 Minutes he believes there were warning signs he simply did not understand at the time. The Pleasant Valley School District in Pennsylvania, where Bryan Kohberger had once been a student and later worked as a part-time security officer, turned over academic and employment records in response to a court-ordered subpoena issued shortly after his arrest. The subpoena arrived in January 2023, within weeks of Kohberger being taken into custody, and included a request for records such as his high school transcripts and personnel information. District attorneys advised administrators that Kohberger had to be notified before protected student records were released under federal privacy law, although employment records were not subject to the same protections. The records themselves were not made public, and it remained unclear whether prosecutors or Kohberger's defense had requested them.At the same time, Pleasant Valley officials largely refused to discuss Kohberger publicly, despite repeated media requests and his long history with the district. Kohberger had attended the school system, graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in 2013 and later worked district security from 2016 until resigning in 2021. Internal emails showed administrators were instructed to avoid commenting and to cite privacy laws, even though those laws did not necessarily prohibit all public discussion. The subpoena nevertheless forced the district to cooperate with the criminal case, giving attorneys access to records that could potentially shed light on Kohberger's educational background, employment history, disciplinary record or other information relevant to the prosecution or defense.to contact me:bobycapucci@protonmail.com
