Whatever this is, hosted by Hector Torres, will attempt to take on the more challenging and sometimes hard to discuss topics. We hope to go on a journey of exploration starting with the ideologies of our childhoods and into our current worldview as adults. Challenging the status quo and encouraging…

Peter grew up in Florida and completed his undergrad studies at the University of Florida before moving to California for medical school at Loma Linda University. He completed his masters in public health at the Harvard School of Public Health. When not in the hospital, you can find him enjoying LA’s thriving food, coffee and music scenes. Thank you for continuing to be patient with me as I get better at interviewing and hosting a podcast. I still think that there are times that I talk too much and other times where I don't. I'm working on a couple different strategies to make sure that we keep moving through topics and not get carried away ranting about one thing. Anyways, as always, please hit me with your comments and suggestions. Thanks. Welcome to Whatever this is! I met my first goal by simply posting this video. It was easy for me to find reasons for why I should re-record the episode however, I finally decided against it because I needed to simply post it and get things in motion without any more procrastination. I have almost zero production and post time available to me. You will find a lot of things are done cheaply and simply for a lack of money and time. My sincere hope is that the value of this podcast will be in the content of the conversations that will be had. I'm very excited by the future: not only the future of these conversations but also the future of the world in general. Negativity and pessimism play to large a role in our discussions and belief systems. Humanity deserves that we are more optimistic about our future. Sure, there are some big problems that we are facing and yes, existential threats are part of it, but even with those things being said I am very excited and for the most part optimistic for the future. I want to focus on people's experiences, their journeys, and the emotions and feelings that their backgrounds have led them to. We have all come from different places, are in different places on our journeys, and are heading to possibly different locations so this should be an awesome time. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/whateverthisis/message
