POPULARITY
The words 'video games' and 'charity' are an unlikely pair of terms to find strung together in a sentence. Yet a number of individuals have become active supporters of charitable causes thanks to playing video games. What does this mean? Can video games make an impact on real world problems? In this discussion, Zach Wigal of Gamers Outreach Foundation will share how video game enthusiasts are combining their passion for gaming with charitable action to create an entirely new field of philanthropy that is engaging individuals in the philanthropic process like never before. Zach Wigal is a digitally minded entrepreneur with a passion for the interactive entertainment industry. At the age of 17, Wigal founded Gamers Outreach Foundation, a 501©(3) non-profit organization that facilitates services which use video games in ways that improve the lives of others. Wigal also serves as the Charity Chapter President within the Entertainment Consumers Association, the non-profit membership organization that represents game consumers in the US & Canada. He is a four time recipient of the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Award, and is currently pursuing a degree in marketing at Eastern Michigan University.

We will not try to kill The Metal as we take on Tim Schafer's Brutal Legend on the Xbox 360 live from CC Gaming in Kennesaw, GA! We play both singleplayer and then attempt the multiplayer, but we wind up going back to the story. There are LOTS of story spoilers from the first few hours of the game here, so be warned! We also talk with ITT Tech Kennesaw about their new gaming club and the events they have going on there, as well as discuss our new relationship with the Entertainment Consumers Association.

Lost joke? Yeah, it was almost a lost episode. First, let's dispatch with the credits. Opening music is "Sucky Yaki" from the album Nothin' But Sausage from Ken Yokoyama. The vocals on that track are not Ken, but the GameHouds official Japanese interpreter and "assistant sound engineer" Serge Verhovski (also known as the bass player for that album). We got his permission for the music, and we think it's very fitting for the first episode back after our soiree to Tokyo. Next, closing music is "Gay Bar" by Electric Six. As for show notes, GamerEdie and Cooper Hawkes discuss: The PSP Go is out and about. The Entertainment Consumers Association launches to help keep that pesky DRM crap out of our games, hopefully. , unless you like big white bricks in your home theater system. Nintendo Life confirms that you . Sahweet! (uh, not). OnLive proves it can . But can it launch? Thank yous, email and fun. .
