Hi, this is Bjorn Munson with Jabberwocky Audio Theater. I was the producer for the season premiere you're about to hear of Quorum. What's Quorum? Imagine that every conspiracy theory you've heard is true and world events are being slowly, painstakingly crafted by a cabal of power brokers behind the scense as they move their willing and unwitting pawns across a global board. Into this game comes former online poker player and observer of inconvenient details Jimmy Harmon. He's our Hitchcockian everyman who finds himself way over his head in this hard-boiled neo-noir adventure. So I hope you're ready to follow all the twists and turns for part one of a 10-episode mystery. The writer-director, William R. Coughlan, is obsessed with making this fictional world startlingly close to the real L.A. of Two Thousand Twelve, so your careful listening will reveal plenty of film and TV nods, connections to real-world events, and –I don't want to spoil it completely– but if it sounds like certain characters are speaking in code, there might just be a puzzle you yourself listening right now can unravel to learn about what the future has in store for the world of Quorum. Enjoy. Transcript can be found at: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/sbwkpujdys3fvqd/AAALxtL1QBGQ20RvXCSIBK76a?dl=0 https://www.jabberaudio.com/shows/quorum/ Twitter: @JabberAudio

Join JAT artistic director Bjorn Munson and associate artistic director William R. Coughlan as they talk about what's in store for Jabberwocky Audio Theater's inaugural season on the air. Okay, it's mainly Bjorn talking, but that totally has nothing to do with Giant Death Robots. Probably.
Wondering just what Jabberwocky Audio Theater is and why it came to be? Bjorn Munson, the artistic director, is happy to explain--as well as spill a few details about JAT's first production: Rogue Tyger. Music: Kevin MacLeod Rated AD-G (http://theaudiodramadirectory.com/ratings/)
