Formed in Leeds in 2009, the band quickly made a splash on the scene, with their live gigs leaving audiences open-mouthed, and their debut EP on Ranking Records drawing raves from everyone up to Radio One's Gilles Peterson, while their now-legendary weekly residency at the tiny Hukaz Bar in Leeds gave fans the unique opportunity to see the band create new material up-close and personal. Festival gigs at The Big Chill, Latitude, Outlook, Bestival and many more followed. Now in 2012, they are ready to launch their debut album "Fragments", which contains a brilliant assortment of ambient and deep melodic bass music. His style of up-tempo music in a frame of ambient and chill-out beats is refreshing since it's mellow but still keeps you on edge. His tracks have recently started appearing regularly on the Beatport Top 100 charts as the chill out genre is gaining more and more traction around the world. Setsuna was formed in the summer of 2008 by Prahlad Erik Heirman, whose idea it was to write Downtempo tracks together with talented musicians from Hamburg's music scene. While focusing on mixing acoustic recordings with electronic elements Erik Heirman combined the various spontaneous creations of eight outstanding musicians. Sine Music Label will be releasing the debut album from Setsuna entitled 'spontaneous'. The album will be available on CD in high quality Digipack on 11th March, 2011, and online at all well-known online stores on the 25th March 2011.
