This week: Join us for a good old-fashioned round table with some of the front line cannabis fighters from Kansas.  This week we will be discussing upcoming cases in the Midwest region. We  have the upcoming hearing for medical necessity in the Shona Banda case November 1st in Garden City, KS where court support will also be needed & we have a hearing for a new case where we will be showing support for Rocky McClelland out of Johnson County Kansas on November 3rd that we will be discussing as well. We will be talking with activist organizations from across Kansas & multiple calls for action will be issued so tune in to see what's going on in our Midwest & Heartland chapters this week! We will also be talking with Kris Lewandowski, again with some exciting updates. Kris is a medically retired vet who served three tours in Afghanistan and Iraq and is facing a possible sentence of 5 years in prison for using cannabis. Shona Banda's gag order is lifted. Her CINC case is closed. Her divorce is finalized. There are many important updates in Shona's case. Pamela Lewis Jacobsen, an unfortunate victim of Wakeeney, Kansas and the Kansas Highway Patrol, will also be featured alongside Shona, both medical Cannabis patients, in a "Kansas Brew" on 'A Cup of Joe'," Also Amy Dawn Bourlon Hilterbran  founder of Talk to the 6630507 Hand campaign  Wednesday, August 23rd, 7 PM CST, with Joe Grumbine of 'The Human Solution International'. Tonight- New bills have been introduced in the Michigan legislature that would affect cannabis users and limit the democratic process including HB 5402 and SB 776. Also Kansas attorney Sarah Swain, often referred to as a "bad ass" and "Wonder Woman" is currently representing well known patient and cannabis reform activist Shona Banda. Sarah was in Michigan recently to attend the trial of Al Witt of Gaylord.
