De Australische bosbranden crisis staat inmiddels wereldwijd onder de aandacht en de donaties en steunbetuigingen stromen binnen. Iedereen wil graag helpen, zo ook Sonja Parker-ten Cate die in Sydney woont maar op bezoek bij haar ouders was en graag een zakvol met spulletjes voor de Australische dieren mee wilde nemen. Zij ging samen met haar ouders bij de Deventer Quilters op bezoek en daar werd ze helemaal blij van.
