While Vince lounges around on vacation, Zach and Brian do the dirty work of recapping all the Fandome news worth discussing. Well...they discuss about 70% of the news and then their lunch hours from their respective day jobs were almost up, and so they plowed through the rest indiscriminately.
While Vince is away in Africa (or something like that), Chase continues the shoot your shot conversation with Arielle Donce & Jenn Ford in order to get the female perspective. Thanks for tuning in!
Clifton finally gets to do his wrestling episode as the WWE travels to Saudi Arabia do the dirty work of selling Mohammad Bin Salman's shitty product. While Vince is doing his carnival barker impression of Thomas Friedman, we're talking with Bryan of Street Fight Radio (@murderbryan)about deciding where to draw the line with the things you love.
We are three week away from WrestleMania and WWE logic is on pull display. While Vince and crew honestly believe they are making some engaging choices to keep people excited for the grandest wrestling show of the year, they are anything but. The Slambros, Boman12L and Illa YC, return for the 20th episode and try to maintain their sanity in the face of baffling WWE logic. Before then, The Slambros go digging in the Dirt! This week, the dirt sheets are filled with hostage situations and wrestling signings. America’s other large promotions are making moves to talents like the Broken Hardy Family, Alberto El Patron, Bully Ray and others to their bands. No one knows what’s going on with Shaq vs The Big Show for WrestleMania. The first match announced for the show may not happen. Does “New Look” Big Show have Shaq shook or has Diesel not been taking this “Dream Match” seriously? Fastlane was another middling WWE PPV. While the show did clear the road for the storylines heading toward Mania, it did so in the most boring way possible. WWE Logic was in full effects throughout the show, as wrestlers seeming forgot the rules and mechanics of wrestling matches. RAW and Smackdown Live were also used to set up the most insipid matches while closing the possibility of exciting mix ups. Hey at least Randy Orton vs AJ Styles was dope. Stay tuned to Slambros! 2:35 Diggin’ in The Dirt 15:21 ¡Las Aventuras de Alberto El Patrón y sus Amigos! 18:15 Fastlane Recap 36:08 RAW Recap 46:34 Smackdown Live Recap 57:04 New Shows/ Outro
Vince and Ben decide to destroy their childhood memories (well Ben's anyway) by revisiting the year 2000 and Digimon: The Movie. While Vince watches the 3 separate Japanese OVAs, Ben subjects himself to the Frankenstein sewed-together theatrical release. Thanks, Fox Kids! Go find us on social media! We want to hear from you!
