In this episode, we recap the NBA Finals and what it means for selected players and both the teams. With the season officially over, we share our thoughts on how the season went along with moments we'll remember. The Lakers have been heavily talked in the past week in terms of how they will construct their team so we lay out so we lay out some free agents that would possibly sign there. USA Basketball had just lost to France in Game 1 so we share our concerns on them moving forward. Last, we generally talk the beginning portion of TOKYO2020.
We jump right into recapping the last three games of the NBA Finals in how Milwaukee has come back into the series as well as give our predictions on who ends up winning. We discuss the challenges of what's happening with USA Basketball and how they'll do in Tokyo. Lots of talks about Dame Lillard and Kawhi Leonard futures with their respective teams and we share what each might do. Last, the Orlando Magic got a new head coach and share our thoughts on the overall direction for their organization.
This week we recap what happened in the conference finals from both series and then give our grand view of the NBA Finals and the two games that has already occurred.
We start by discussing the conversations surrounding Ben Simmons' playoff performance and his possible trade value. After, we talk about the Draft Lottery order and what that means for those respected teams. The final roster for Team USA has been set and we share our thoughts on who was included. Last, we breakdown the what has been going in the conference finals and predict who will be the last two teams standing.
It was a wild week in the NBA with coaching and front office changes, injuries, NBA team awards/ROY announced and of course, the end of the second round. We dive into all of that and more.
We jump right in and react to the three NBA awards that were announced (COY, DPOY, and MVP). Indiana's coach got released after one year and we give our thoughts on what went down and what kind of coach should be selected to coach them. We discuss how this is Becky Hammon time to be a head coach in this league. Lebron has changed his number back to "6" and we both share what era was our favorite Lebron. We close with breaking down what we have seen so far in the second round.
In this episode, we recap the first round matchups and breakdown what the losing teams of each series should do in the offseason. Then, we preview the second round matchups and react to a couple of the Game 1s that already started. Last, we share our overall thoughts on the vast coaching changes and situations that's occurred.
We begin by explaining how we like to watch a basketball and how it evolved over time. That transitioned into an impromptu conversation on today's NBA Announcers and who are our favorites. Then, we breakdown how the first round games are going and give our thoughts on how each series will end up. Last, we discuss the recent fan incidents that have occurred in the past week.
We’re ten episodes in and on this specific one we discuss how the play-in tournament went as well as our thoughts on a proposed midseason tournament. Then we dive right into the first round of the playoffs and preview and predict each series and react to the matchups over the weekend.
For episode 9, we review each team and how they did in the regular season this year. Then we break down each play-in tournament game and give our predictions on what might occur. The Hall of Fame was this weekend and we share our thoughts on the players and coaches that were inducted. We finish up by bringing up the documentary “144” and the opening weekend of the WNBA.
On this week’s episode, we bring back the All-NBA discussion from last week after learning about a few players that have position flexibility on the ballot. We then create a bank of players that should be in the conversation for the All-Defensive teams. We follow that by laying out our top 5 players per position for this season. Segment 2 is all about the NBA Awards as we each share who should win each award. Last, we dive into the current playoff picture and what we want to see in the last week of the regular season.
In episode 7 of All Blocks Covered, we dive into Suns/Jazz, Nuggets/Clippers, and Bucks/Nets from this past weekend. Then discuss the returns of Lebron James and Lamelo Ball and what they mean for their respective teams. We concluded with selecting all the players who should be in the conversation for All-NBA.
In episode 6 of All Blocks Covered, we check in on Chilly’s Lakers as Anthony Davis returned to the team this past week. Then, we dissect the Knicks winning streak and what that means for them currently. Second half, we go through scenarios of who we might think will end up in the play-in tournament and go through some hypothetical matchups. We close with what questions or storylines we’re looking forward to for the last three weeks of the season.
This episode consisted of a laundry list of items that included: the MVP race, Nets (injuries and LaMarcus Aldridge Retirement) and Lakers Check-In, Play-in tournament thoughts, More Knicks love, Ben Simmons DPOY? Anthony Edwards ROY? NBA Ownership, Players that deserve respect, and the state of scheduling/injuries.
As Marcus and Chilly wait for pizza to be delivered, they start off the podcast with a full on pizza debate that completely jumps off the rails. Then, we showcase our first ever fan voicemail segment entitled, “What’s on your mind?!" Here what this individual has to say about their favorite team. Within the main content, they discuss the Jrue Holiday max extension and how that effects the Bucks this year and years to come. Then share their comfort level out of the top 3 teams in the East. The mid-seeding portion of the East is an absolute mess so they check-in and see who will be where towards to the end of the season. The second half of the episode starts with the hot Denver Nuggets team and where they stack up now with the top teams of the West. Last, who is for real out of the west contenders and which teams near the play-in seeds are in trouble?

They end the podcast by discussing the few players that were bought out and how they effect their teams.

Then they hand out some midseason awards and share who they actually have on the ballot. Last, they go back and forth with different questions they have for some teams for the second half of the season and predict what the top 6 seeds for each conference will be at the end of the season.
