Raising goats successfully isn't about having more animals or fewer animals — it's about having management that matches your goal. Too many people jump into goats with good intentions, only to feel overwhelmed, frustrated, and eventually sell out because their goats, systems, and goals were never aligned. In this episode, I break down a pattern I see over and over: people either start with too many goats before they've learned how goats behave as a herd, or they start with just a couple of goats that function more like pets and never teach real herd management. Both extremes create problems — just in different ways. We talk honestly about why goats magnify mistakes, how scale multiplies management challenges, and why learning at the right herd size matters. I also share how and why we intentionally scaled our own herd back last year to protect animal health, forage, and infrastructure — not as a failure, but as good management under real-world constraints. Reaction to the Bucks removing themselves from trade conversations for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The guys are still dealing with the sorrow of the reports that Giannis will not be traded from the Bucks. Tobin continues to echo the thoughts around many Heat fans as it feels like the Heat continue to not deliver with big trade after apparently being in the “talks” while Leroy tries to play optimist. We finish off the show with Tobin swearing he will behave better tomorrow (doubtful).

Things take a dark turn in hour three when the reports hit that the Bucks informed teams that they would not be trading Giannis before the trade deadline. Tobin spends the better part of the hour lasting out on just about everyone and everything… he starts it off yelling towards Milwaukee and Giannis at the windowplex. We take calls from Miami Heat fans to get their reaction to the Heat not being able to get this trade through!

Trade deadline day is here and the gang spends the entire show waiting on the Miami Heat to make a move.
