Arguably our favorite in-office holiday, no smell on Earth is as attractive as the thin-sliced bacon sizzling in a pan and served with anything at hand. Bacon is the hero of every meal it's incorporated into. No wonder it's been such a massive part of western cuisine since 1500 B.C. This means, for thousands of years, we have relished the sweet-savory smell of bacon frying, and the chewy taste too. One could argue that it's now coded into our D.N.A., a historic love for bacon.

Mark Few is searching for win number 700 while the Gonzaga Bulldogs are looking for their first true road victory of the season, and both could come Thursday night in Malibu when the Zags take on the Pepperdine Waves for the second time this year. If Gonzaga can slow down Lorenzo Romar's big three of Michael Ajayi, Houston Mallette, and Jevon Porter, and if Graham Ike and Ryan Nembhard can have similar performances to last time, this should get the Zags back on the right track.Yvonne Ejim was once again named to the Becky Hammon midseason Award Watchlist after being a finalist last year, and this is the year she should win it. She was also named Player of the Week in Canada, alongside former Zag star Kyle Wiltjer. We then close out the show discussing former Gonzaga coaches who are head coaches elsewhere, including Roger Powell's first year at Valparaiso and how Leon Rice, Tommy Lloyd, and Dan Monson are doing at Boise State, Arizona, and Long Beach State.Discord Server: https://discord.gg/CcSNerjWPmLink to national college basketball national podcast: https://linktr.ee/LockedOncbbhttps://linktr.ee/LockedOnZagsLocked on Zags - Part of the Locked on Podcast Network.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!BirddogsGo to birddogs.com/lockedoncollege or enter promo code LOCKEDONCOLLEGE for a free water bottle with any purchase.
