The Houston Rockets rallied from down 14 points to beat the Orlando Magic in overtime on Sunday night. They did it behind Kevin Durant's 35 points and a clutch shot by Alperen Sengun to send the game into overtime. Also, it may have been boring in Tennessee, but a win is a win. It seemed for a while like the Texans might blow an opportunity to beat the worst team in football, but a last-second field goal put them ahead in the end. Brandon Scott is here reacting to it all with you on The B-Block.
The Orlando Magic are 7-7 after a heartbreaking loss in Houston without Paolo Banchero and Jalen Suggs. We ran out of gas and couldn't hit enough free throws and 3s down the stretch of regulation and overtime. We're 2-0 in Cup play at least. Worrying about groin injuries has replaced worrying about oblique tears. Even though we're overall playing better, we badly need a truly healthy Paolo back. All of that and more! #LetsGoMagic Warning: Adult Language

The Knicks put together one of their worst performances of the season against the Orlando Magic, they were outplayed in every single way, especially defensively. The Knicks attempted a number of comebacks but weren't able to close in on any of them because the Knicks couldn't compete in defensively. But even worse, they lost the Captain in the process. THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING! NOT TO THE CAPTAIN! NY Knicks superstar Jalen Brunson suffered a severe ankle injury against the Orlando Magic late in the 4th quarter and left MSG on crutches and a walking boot. The injury could sideline Jalen Brunson for weeks and now the Knicks are forced to make a huge roster decision given that Jalen Brunson will be out for at least a few games. Redes Sociales:Pase Extra: - Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/paseextra- Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/paseextra/ Tiktok: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMe7xY9Qw/JP: - Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jean.paul49/ Sergio: - Instagram: https:/www.instagram.com/sergio_colon5/ Villa: - https://instagram.com/villapr?igshid=YTQwZjQ0NmI0OA==

Send us a textOn this edition of The Brief Case, presented by Spirit Mountain Casino, Trail Blazers reporter/Insider Casey Holdahl discusses... • The Trail Blazers starting a five-game trip with a close loss to the Heat in Miami on Saturday• Going scoreless at the worst possible time• Both Jrue Holiday and Deni Avdija come close to triple-doubles in Miami• Trail Blazers stick around in Orlando versus the Magic but end up getting beaten at the buzzer by a Desmond Bane three• Portland overcoming a tough night on the boards and a lack of flow on offense for the first three quarters • The Blazers once again staying resilient long enough for the game to turn in their favor• Did Tiago Splitter remember the alley-oop play that gave Portland the lead from when the Blazers ran it for a win versus Tiago when he was a rookie versus the Spurs? • The irony of the Magic shooting poorly from three all game only to finish with a buzzer-beating three and the Trail Blazers turning the ball over just three times in the first three quarters only to be undone by a late-game turnover• Shaedon Sharpe having his best game of the season while looking like a go-to option in the fourth quarter • Finishing the trip with the Pelicans in New Orleans on Wednesday, the Rockets in Houston (in an NBA Cup Group C game) Friday in Houston and Sunday versus the Mavericks in Dallas (and on both KATU and KUNP)
Now 0-2 to start the road trip... in New Orleans on Wednesday.
