And there we have it, the end of the 2020 Summer Split. That saw the rise and just as quick descent from C9 who after this split will not be attending worlds for the first time in their organizations history! We saw the 3 and 4 seeds battle it out in the finals after TL got bounced by both TSM and FLY. We finally saw the latter duke it out in Grand Finals in an exciting 5 game series that saw TSM reclaim their crown as North America's best team, but it is not all lost for FLY and TL as they will be our other two seeds at Worlds and the cast breaks down why this year may be one to be excited for! We just competed the first round of the LCS Summer playoffs where we saw six different teams combat in a double elimination bracket. We saw upsets handed to TSM at the hands of Golden Guardians. We saw a series go the distance. And we saw some games in the losers bracket that were fairly dominant, but hey more league so who cares. Everything is wrong, as we enter the upside down. In week 5 we have finally reached the midway point of the split, and evidently everything we have learned so far has been flipped on its head. We saw DIG and 100T grab a 2-0 weekend, we saw TSM, FLY, and EG all go 0-2 and then we also saw C9 drop a game. WHAT?!? At the end of Week 3 the LCS sees a 5 way tie for 2nd place, and here we thought the pecking order was finally being set.
